They’re still out there for somewhat realistic prices, at least SR5. Saw one for 2000 in Alabama a few weeks back, and just picked up one for 3600 in VA. But you’re definitely right about the parts availability, lot of it’s drying up compared to a few years ago. And information on forums is harder to find, more broken links and missing photos compared to even five years back.

You could film more maintenance videos seeing that most 20V videos on youtube come from the Philippines, your car sounds great, there's only one AE86 in the whole of Cape Town, I would like to own an ae85 20v, we just got the fwd
Tbh the price increase imo is honestly just because people love these Japanese cars so much and realised that they didn't care what the price was, and when demand slightly increased the result was the surge. Sounds like a really dumb explanation and there's definitely more to it but yeah I'd totally still pay 50k for an R32.. if I had 50k.
Are you ever going to put the grey black two tone on again? with the zenki taillights and trunk spoiler? (the grey black was an extremely rare color for the 1985 GTS ae86
