It's always nice when a notification of your channel pops up. Glad to see the ae86 back on the road and also props to the editing, the car montage looks awesome
Amazing video dude. I have an 86 and my girlfriend has had her MR2 for ten years. I’m going to pull the 4AG from the MR2 as it needs a refresh with some new seals. You’ve inspired me to crack on I just wish I had a shed to work in. Gotta love these crappy old toyotas I fully agree. All the best dude.
Man just discovered your channel and watching it your videos through most of my day. Don't sell yourself short man. What you do there is art and it's damn beautiful.
That action sequence with the driving and soft music was mesmerizing. Amazing vid Reilly, please keep them coming. Let's see some tail happy action in the LS400 👍
OMG DUDE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOUR NEXT UPLOAD FOR EVER AND HAVE BEEN REWATCHING OLD VIDEOS, YOU TOTALLY DESERVE MORE SUBS!! PLEASE GET BACK TO REGULAR UPLOADS! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, LOVE FROM AUSTRALIA
That montage just gave me a weird 2am burst of motivation for my 86. Like after months of having it sit I want to drive it and take the long way to work today.
Really well done as always. Congrats on the LS purchase, just rolled over 210,000 in my own ‘98. Just watch out for the p/s pump. I didn’t realize mine was leaking from the bottom and it fried the alternator and left me stranded. The two halves are sealed with an o-ring and mine was fucked.
wb mate. Don't stress over not posting often. Glad you got her sorted out, it felt like it was just about breaking your spirit when you had so many major issues one after the other.
fuck yeah man! its good to see your progress on the car. when i was in high school i had a 93 geo metro, 3 cylinder 5 speed hatch and it did the same shit in the cold. it would warm up fine in the driveway but about a mile down the road the temp went all the way to cold and had no heat. one night i was fuckin around in the snow trying to slid it and ended up in a ditch. car was fine, my dad pulled it out and laughed at me lol. but, the grill was fully packed with ice and snow. so obviously i went about my normal day the next day for school and found out i had heat the whole way there! i was like how? the snow in the grill blocked the air to the radiator keeping it warm. well soon enough the snow melted but it was still bitch ass cold out. one night i took part of a pizza box and slid it in in front of the radiator and she sayed nice and warm for the rest of the winter. side note, i moved to florida at the end of that winter and got all the way into jacksonvill and it started overheating, guess who forgot to take the fuckin pizza box out lol.
Great job on this one! It's been my dream to find and fix up an 86 since the beginning of time. No luck with finding one that hasn't gone through a nuke or two, though.
Looks like your out of Washington state. When the snow actually melts in May/June you should take your car over the north Cascades highway. It's a pretty fun drive. You would have a lot of fun in that little ae86.
A good way too get your car engine temp higher in winter is too put cardboard in front of half of your raidiator. Love your car :-) keep up the good work :-)
Toyotas are the best cars. I love'em the old Toyotas looks like old classic cars from the late 80's, to early 90's, they look way better then the older Hondas, there's just something about them, that gives them that unique classic look to them, that Honda doesn't come close to, I love my 2010 Corolla XRS, it's got the Camry 2.4L 2AZ-FE Engine, and a 5 Speed Manual Transmission, and it's so reliable. I rarely ever have to replace any parts, besides regular oil changes, and new oil filters, every 3,000 kilometers, I recently replaced my Break pads, with performance pads, drilled, and slotted, Rotors, and Sway bar links, and so far I have no issues except for my OEM Struts, that's leaking but I'm replacing them with BC Racing Coilovers Extreme drop, in a few months. Toyotas are the best and number one most reliable cars ever made. I love the 2014-2016 Scion TC as well
Ohh man, excellent video, is a magnific sensation drive you car after hours and hours at work and money and money hahaha excelente. Greetings from Argentina
Glad you're back! Ported Intake manifold/throttle body, maybe a header? and stock ECU tune for a little power boost? Then refine the chassis/susp. a bit more? (If it needs any?)

You are my hero.
A good way too get your car engine temp higher in winter is too put cardboard in front of half of your raidiator. Love your car :-) keep up the good work :-)
Also make sure to run the appropriate oil the winter. Savagegeese has got a great video on that with his friend mechanic I believe
My buddy has 2 AE86 Time Attack cars. They are so much fun to drive. Very similar to a Miata.
RA63 is for early 3rd gen solid axle Celicas. RA64, RA65 are for other configurations sold in the US. Not necessarily the AE86/AE88 debate.

Omg that cam rust. Love the vids. Understand the infrequency worth the wait for the quality though.
