Gosh… The memories… I spent hundreds of hours ON THIS MAP ALONE with friends around the neighborhood. Every day after school and on weekends we’d play this non-stop, for years. Absolutely amazing game for the time.
I remember playing with my buddies using a Multitap, and since there could only be one Bond and everyone wanted to be Bond, we decided that none of us would be Bond. Often played as the bad guys because they had more variety of characters. My favorite was Baron Samedi because his outfit looked the coolest, and this was before I started watching Bond movies. That wasting the last rocket into the wall for funsies was the cherry on top. My cousin and I played the hell out of this game all the time at his house. Oddjob was my favorite because of his hat.
Dude I had a weird stroke of nostalgia so I decided to look this up and the first video that came up was the exact map that I wanted to see. Me and my siblings used to play this every Christmas and birthday for like 3 or 4 years. We always did explosives only for whatever reason
This is a classic fr fr. I feel like more people are more familiar with 007 goldeneye rather than this one & never got to experience this masterpiece of a game.
I remember playing this map all the time and it was either first one to the rocket launcher or to the tower to snipe the person with the rocket launcher lol.
I couldn't get enough of this game growing up. My siblings and I would take turns playing multi-player and, being the youngest and not the brightest (back then), I was such a sore loser. 😂 My favorite weapon was the missile.
I remember the days when multiplayer was all about sitting in one room on the couch on one tv (and losing friendships in the process over using Oddjob). Not just online gaming that involved focusing purely on multiplayer (looking at you Black Ops 4) and Oversaturation (Fortnite anyone?)
Couch Co-Op and Couch PVP were the best. Playing online is fun, but playing against eachother with several people in the room together will never be beat.
27:24 Lol, love how the Phoenix score goes up from 6 to 7, but then down to 4 after they are killed by their own rocket. Not sure what happened there, as they only killed two on their own team; shouldn't the score go from 6 to 7, and down to 5 instead of 4? Or is it just that the game failed to register their kill when they killed themselves just a split second later?
Multiplayer with friends on this game, man I played for hours... Pretty sure you can blow the rocket up in the air if you hit X though from what I remember lol.
for some reason, the AI feels alot stupider than they used to. I remember they would actually camp inside the castle or the cabin, rarely would you catch them just running into the side of a mountain
Those hooks make the multiplayer in this version funner than the multiplayer of the N64 version. In the N64 version, my only favorite level is the Dam. With all weapons, I like firing rockets at the mountains at a distance. The longest it takes the rockets to hit the mountain and how far the explosion is on the screen, and with no sound of the explosion that far away, it looks rather more realistic than poor quality.

I had it on both the PS2 and Xbox, it felt like Xbox version ran a lot smoother. Controls were a bit better too.
