I bring the beers 🍵
*Sorry thats some soup here it's the beer* 🍻
nightfire is goated, the multiplayer is just fantastic and the story is fun
I remember playing this game all the fucking time as a kid. Using the sentinel and scorpion in multi-player was just 👌👌👌
nice
Fact
This game was the bomb in mp, that helicopter map is sooo nostalgic. I remember my brother's friend and my brother used to 2 vs 1 me, and they'd always try make up an excuse as to why 2 vs 1 was perfectly fair lol and i was like 7. That heating seeking rocket was legit.
Goated?
The castle level in the snow is the best mission ever, you can approach it a bunch of ways too.
One of the first games that blew me away with it's intuitive level design. Exploring the different ways to *enter* the castle was a blast of itself.
no fucking way ! boys, i remember me and my brother we’re struggling to get into the castle so in a last ditch effort we said jokingly “why don’t we just shoot the window lock lol” and we did and it opened… our faces were a picture :O we never thought that a PS2 game would let u do things like that. awk well thats my story u’ve just unlocked a long lost memory, thank you all have a great life.
@@1888Christopher That's a great memory to share with us too, I didn't know about that one! Also Angelus, go get your soul back (Angel reference, in case you don't know what I'm on about, but judging by you playing Nightfire, you know your early 2000's culture!).
@@djwoody1649haha nice, you know, your the first person to ever comment on my name, it goes over most peoples head. early 2000’s is where it was at bro life is more fun without a soul lol
The Exchange is kinda like the "Dam" of Nightfire.
This game was outstanding, loved skyrail with the rocket launcher with guided rockets. I put hundreds of hours into this as a kid
Yes!! Hahaha the best feeling
Bruhhh
This game has aged so well! I’d absolutely love a remaster of this and Agent under fire.
wish Eurocom was still alive.. :(
They'd make the lead hero a black non binary Asian dude
sadly we will probably never get a remaster/remake considering the Bond license for the games are a mess
@@19lazyboy91 yeah there alot to get permission. EA, MGM, alot.
Yoo agent under fire for the GameCube tho lol
Nightfire never went over the "breaking point" that Goldeneye did where everyone and their grandma knew it existed. If the same phenomenon had happened, you'd hear about this game every day in discussions about great retro games.
I genuinely regard it as the best Bond game to date, and I am glad that I was at least able to get my own few friends to play it with me as well.
I remember if you unlock oddjob in multiplayer you can use his hat as a weapon
Oh yes
Man… Oddjob breaks the multiplayer experience in a million ways in Goldeneye 64
I have distinct memories of hitting my friends from across the map on that snow level with the hat. We all died from laughing so hard
LOL I always used to go for nut shots with the hat
@@TheBreakingBenny There would be strict rules that no one could use odd job with me and my friends. his hit box was the smallest and we would play on license to kill. i think he was faster but can't remember for sure..
This game was all the sensation when I was young. A kid on my neighborhood had it and we would go every afternoon to play infiltration... we did this for a whole year at the very least. I have tons of memories of this game. Both in single player and multiplayer. I remember playing the snow castle stage a lot.
if i'm ever depressed, i make sure to pop in 007 Nightfire or Harry potter and the chamber of secrets on my gamecube so that depression completely drowns me
Vimms lair helped me through so much. Good place.
holy shit I had both of those on my gamecube too :) good memories
I WISH I still had a GameCube so I could play Nightfire again.
That’s what I’m talking about!!
The Gamecube version of the game can have up to 6 bots in addition to 4 players, for 5v5s. Shit was legendary.
Gotta do all Dominiques
This game was so good. Honestly should've been a gold standard for FPS games, if for console ones at least.
It's baffling how they managed to f*k up the PC version of this game so badly. Gotta thank RANDY THE DANDY for it, as always.
I remember playing the PC version for the frst time, i was so disappointed when i realized they ruined it so much.... the multiplayer was so good on console!
this is the best bond game, the multiplayer was a crazy amount of fun and I’d spend hours playing it. 10/10
Me and my cousin would play Phoenix Base non-stop for like 8 hours when we had sleep overs. It was essentially just a zombie mode; we would hide in the little room downstairs the whole time. I was much more easily entertained back then...
Thats like doing all fist sims on Perfect Dark. Doing zombies before it was a thing lol
Proud to say I was one of those cousins ❤️ Happy days man!
The screen peeking lads ❤️
Screeeen
The amount of memories that hit me when I saw this thumbnail
This is part of Micky D's cunning plan to inspire someone to make a Bond mod for Morrowind.
Come, 007, friend or traitor, come. Come and look upon the Aston Martin, and PPK. Oh, and bring a Vesper- I have need of it.
00N’wah
A few years ago I was making a PerfectDark and 007 crossover fan game. Never really finished that. I still have some of the files but lost most of it because of a hardrive failure. Though that wasn't the main reason I quit working on it.
I'll have a Sujamma. Shaken. Not stirred.
@@OblivionTanks There's never a better time than now.
Yo this game was amazing, haven’t thought about it in so long! Used to play all the time, loved the guided missile.
Definitely my favorite 007 game as well.
Oh, this is nice. Whenever someone says 007 Nightfire, I step in right away without thinking twice.
I've played through all of the 007 games and I can definitely say: Nightfire is also my favorite Bond game and the one I remember playing the most. The whole experience in this game is absolutely outstanding. I really feel like I'm James Bond and I always feel so into the game every time I play it.
The weapons, the cars, the gadgets, the storyline, the Bond girls... Oh, that f***in Kiko. Even if I kill her 10000 times in multiplayer I'll never get over what she did to Dominique. It was UNFAIR.
But apart from that, the whole experience that this game brings to any Bond fan is unmeasurable. It's definitively a complete gift for the 40th anniversary of 007.
I love playing the Multiplayer mode with bots for hours, it is my favorite thing to do after playing Phoenix Fire on 00 Agent. Gosh, I love that mission.
Unfortunately, its PC counterpart didn't live up to its name, but the consoles' versions are a masterpiece.
Ooonnu go my
/
this game is the game that got me into FPS and gaming in general
Skyrail is my favorite map, loved playing with explosives only.
This was the go to game for my brother and I when we were kids! Endless hours on Sky Rail
Some of the most fun I had as a kid playing games. A true gem.
This was one of the first ps2 games I ever played, and I still play it every once in awhile, by far the best 007 game
This along with Everything or Nothing was such a big part of my childhood!
That motorcycle level on the bridge tho.
Such fond memories of playing this on my Xbox with my brother after school. Wonderful game!
The words "just a bit closer" have been etched in my brain since childhood because of this game
Yay. Somethin cool to watch while I wait for a tow truck in the mid day Texas heat in a dead car. Hopefully it gets here before I die of heat stroke
So... are ye ded skeletor?
There is something so soothing about watching an irishman play video games I played when I was younger!
This reignited tons of old memories for me. Thank you Micky D.
This game was light years above its time, the story mode was great and best of all was the multiplayer mode it offered, from suitcase machine guns and remote control drones and a variety of garnades and guns one of the best first person shooter games I ever played.., and didn’t need to be updated like modern games today, or have glitches.
Ever played the PC version? I just found out that the console version is superior, gotta try it again!
Plus the PC version is like a literal mod of Half Life so you lose armor really quickly with all the Hitscanning enemies.
One of my first videos was the PC version. Both that video and game, aren't very good.
@@MickyD next video: "So how's it goin' 007 Nightfire on PC fans?"
@@EpicPrawn They could've just put the console version on the PC as well, like they'd end up doing with Underground 1 and games after. They did that for The Need for Speed, Return Fire, and other console games back when they were on 3DO and so before DOS and Windows.
007: Trashfire was my favorite PC game growing up, at least until the office building part started.
This was my favourite game growing up
There's something really wonderful about Mickey just unabashedly enjoying this game, warts and all, rather than 1000 snarky, sarcastic quips.
As an aside, the much later From Russia With Love for the PS2 was a phenomenal game, as I recall.
They were on a great run in the early 2000s man.
Coming off of goldeneye, we had… agent under fire (incredible), Nightfire (incredible) everything or nothing (incredible), from russia with love (incredible), rogue agent (not as bad as people say) and we don’t talk about tomorrow never dies lol
But for a good few years there bond games were always an event worth looking forward to
@@Whatareyouumadeof You don't tell me to not talk about Tomorrow Never Dies.
This was the best game ever. After goldeneye. This game had me, my brother and my cousins up all night. Bacc when you had to have the multi tap lol
Good times!
The mission "the exchange" offers so much freedom of expression for the player, there's a reason it's one of the most memorable levels in 007 games.
Only just realising that it was kind of a blueprint for how the Dishonored franchise would approach level design.
All the James Bond games were sick. Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, Everything or Nothing. Absolutely elite.
Mention three 007 games but not the most legendary of them all?
@@felagund87 IKR
@@felagund87 Goldeneye is obvious tho lol
I remember playing Skyrail against the bots, setting tripmines up on the room and camping the hell out of them for hours on end, good childhood times!
Cutscene showing the Eiffeltower, Paris
Micky:"new york new york" 🤣❤️
I about lost my shat at 18:15. Good Lord... that was an A+ edit, sir.
Yes! I loved playing this game with my friends on Skyrail!
6:46 - I may be mistaken, but I think the Platinum Medals are unachievable unless you acquire all the 007 medals in a given level. Even if you get the requisite points, you'll still just get gold, unless you get all the 007 medals. Not the Bond moves, but the actual stationary spinning "007" tokens.
Yes, those tokens. This is also true for Agent Under Fire... but you must also get them on the hardest difficulty.
This video right here just brings me BACK to the old days. Oh my gawd I love this game.
Spent so many evenings after school just playing the multiplayer with the homies.
Best 007 game
this is bringing back a lot of nostalgia, thank you
This game is pure brilliant, my brother cousin and I played it soooooo much its unbelievable. We always took those laser mines and filled up the whole house with them. It was soooooo much fun
my fav bond game too! the multiplayer is so insanely fun.
Man, fills me with nostalgia, used to play this game as a 5 year old, the castle mission used to be so hard as a non english speaker
I remember when this game first came out it looked so beautiful. I know its 20 years later but, it
honestly still holds up a bit graphically.
Micky D you *always* hit me with the nostalgia
Ohh my days the nostalgia in this video all the way through! This was my favourite bond game of all time I never even knew the proper name or version because I was so young man... 90s kid we had some decent games love it. The fact you made content on this makes you wholesome!
007 Everything or nothing, holds a special place in my heart.
The local multiplayer in this game was AMAZING. great levels
Absolutely adore this game, still play it! Got so many fond memories from my teens when I first got my multi-tap for my PS2, spent hours playing this with friends. So good.
The intro is still on my playlist. This is also my favorite 007 game.
straight from ps2 chamber of secrets to 007 nightfire literally 2 of my favourite games ever tysm!!
I love the editing so far in this series. The minecraft damage noises and visual gags you added in were great!
I spent many, many, many hours of my childhood with Nightfire. I'm happy someone else in this world knows it exists!
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so excited over UA-cam video, I loved nightfire!
Bro thank you for this. Seeing the character screen, took me back to playing with my sister, brothers and cousins.
Insanely nostalgic video. memories of basement sleepovers and absolutely destroying the roof of my mouth eating boiling lava hot microwave pizza bagels just came back
One of my favorite games! My identical twin and I spent so many hours enjoying this game. I still play it on my PlayStation 2 with my husband.
4:34 great Wilhelm scream moment lol 😂
Jaysus Micky, you just took me back to the good old days, I spent so much time with my mates playing the multiplayer , haven't taught about this game in long time, this is class, thanks youtube for recommending this playthrough, I know what I am watch for the next few hours,
I like that you play random gaMes that I played as a kid. I think that we have both struck gold, and I look forward to seeing your UA-cam channel growing and succeeding. You are talented.
I wanna see a full gameplay of this from you soon. I really wanted to say I really enjoyed this episode and game thank you. 🤗
The full playlist can be found on my channel page!
I used to play with my cousins and aunt and uncle back in 2005 all summer long lol.
This and under fire.
I've done that snow level in so many different ways as a kid. This game was my favorite FPS when I was a kid
I tell ya, Micky, it's like we played the exact same games growing up. Morrowind, Harry Potter, Nightfire... What a list.
I used to think the Tokyo skyscraper mission was the most atmospheric shit ever. I could walk those hallways for hours
Lol phoenix fire was so badass
Incredible soundtrack, level design and the best multiplayer in a Bond game ever; also smooth 60fps for the GCN/Xbox versions.. Eurocom you're solely missed.. 😫
from russia with love was definitely my favorite. hundreds of hours sunk into that game as a kid
We desperately need another 007 game with all previous Bonds as skins, and of course the overpowered Golden Gun 😭❤️❤️
I still want to re-buy this this for my PS2, as a naïve kid I changed it in to GameStop along with some other PS2 games to get GTA IV cheap, thinking I wouldn't miss my old games...
I like GTA 4 too but damn you fucked up lol
Nightfire multiplayer was the best, I used to play it with my cousins as well.
This is truly the best Bond game since GoldenEye. People want GoldenEye to be rereleased (and might actually be, judging by leaked achievements), but I want a rerelease of this more than that. :(
this video just unlocked another memory for me
It was so fun to play even by yourself not many games have that vibe now
007 Nightfire truly was something special. Although the Multiplayer was the best in a 007 game since Goldeneye, the story mode was also one of the best, with amazing gadgets and level design. They don't make them like this anymore.
Exactly. Now they just sell out to the lowest bidder aka GTA online kids. We can't get single player content anymore.
bruh this awakened my childhood, watching the full playlist now
Dude.. this is quite literally one of the most amazing games to ever be created, I remember spending countless hours with my brother playing against the bots. I can't tell you how significant of a staple this video game was in my childhood.
"How is a snowmobile driving on the road"
Minnesotan here. You can drive them across roads, but if you do so for too long, it will wear down your skis. That's all.
You're playing all my favorite games from when I was a kid. Hidden gem of a channel for sure. My favorite missions were in the skyscraper and the Japanese gardens :)
Btw it'd be cool to do an encore episode for Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets exploring the exterior of the castle with the broom. You can fly around to different platforms and hidden courtyards. Using the incindio spell to light torches will reveal secrets/reward wizard cards. You can also glitch through parts of the walls and fly beneath the map 😉
That's funny that you should say that. The Battlefield 4 Campaign opens up with you and your squadmates in a car sinking underwater, hearing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" over the radio. One of your squadmates comments about how he doesn't want to die to that song, and another one of your squadmates actually does die in a few seconds.
Bro. Idk why... but I just keep getting the feeling that your channel is going to grow exponentially in a HURRY. I found your channel not too long ago and I can’t shake that feeling. Been right a time or two before about channels growing. Anyway... I just wanted to thank you for all you do. This “entertainment” has made a big impact on me and has seriously made my days better on numerous occasions. Thank you. Seriously. And... keep doing what you’re doing brother! You have a fantastic channel here. 🙏
First game I ever bought on PS2. I think it came with the bundle... Loved playing the campaign through, even though I barely understood it because I was like 7 in 2002 😂 but still, great times. Those menu's bring back some memories
It’s crazy how we had the exact same childhood when it comes to this game and agent under fire. Nightfire was always overall more fun but I missed the ability to grapple anywhere
Skyrail was great. You could hop on the rail and then there was a spot on the cliff, when moving towards the cabin side, that you could hop on and no one could get to you. You were pretty open, but it was a cool spot to get to when I was young.
My brother and I use to play this game for hours in the summer. We loved this game. Makes me wanna cry.
This just brought back memories.
I enjoyed the part where the Eifel tower came up and Micky said New York New York
Man i look for this game for so much time, i remember that when i was a kid i stuck in the middle of the game and never finish it. Is very good to see it again, thanks
I can't wait for Micky to come back from his recovery and play some Bond stuff again. Now _that_ is a party I would certainly enjoy. Smooth recovery, mate.
Played the Game Cube version a ton with my frens growing up, cross map kills with oddjobs hat ftw
I've never played this before but the amount of ways you can go in the castle is crazy
The nostalgia trip I didn’t know I needed, thank you!
My favorite 007 game is Nightfire, and it makes me happy.
Damn I remember playing this for day and night on GC with my friends. When I discovered cheat codes my mind was blown it was so cool. I was in love wih Dominique and I loved playing Oddjob headshotting ppl with the hat 😂
Oh how I wish they remade this gem.
The multiplayer on everything or nothing is outstanding! I recommend trying it with somebody you'd have alot of fun! After you learn the controlls first tho XP they are a bit to get used to but after awhile it's very nice control layout and main story is nice and long for ya ;)
I completely forgot this game existed oh my god this was my childhood thank you so much for playing this again
This game and spy hunter 2 were my favorites growing up
