Arrrgh! I just replaced the antique lever switch in a 1980 TXT and then I saw this setup! I’m making a note of it and your install, it will look amazing when you get it all loom managed in there! Great job!
Good work, a suggestion, write down every step that you would take to perform the work, then put those on the screen and say at the same time like a list. Other than that, keep up the great work!!
Hey Jeff I have a 2001 EZGO 36V with the manual F/R shifter that I want to convert to an electric switch. Any guidance you can provide? Step by step install video and parts list?

So I have followed along with your video but I'm missing where my blue wire from my key switch goes. Originally I had a wire running from the positive battery to the f&r switch, and then the other connection on the f&r switch was the blue wire. In your video you showed you came from the solenoid to the middle of your FNR switch, but then you had another wire coming from the positive of your battery pack and you were going to put a fuse on it. But where did you connect that?
@@kartkrazy Got it! Needed a new wire from the +battery to the blue wire which goes to the key switch. Then from the center of the new F&R switch to the +side of the solenoid like in your video. Thanks!

It’s not my cart but if I remember correctly that should go to the key switch…

How much was this kit? Would you need a new controller if you had the stock controller to switch to this f and r setup?
