A 1995 ezgo cart was dropped off for me to look at. The lights don't work. Looks like this wasn't done at assembly. It's pretty mockey moused. Are the lights ground controlled?
Question to anyone with one of these, how do you get access to "under the hood" or from behind the ignition switch to the front of the cart to access wiring and such?
My switch was not connected to anything? Just two wires coming out of a wire harness. Where do you attach the two wires?? On the solenoid? Controller? not sure. Any help since you have the same cart?
I've got a 1998 TXT DCS that I'm restoring and I unfortunately cut the 2 ignition wires at the controller, not knowing where exactly they go to. I took pictures and I know where the yellow wire goes, but the white/yellow wire is mystery to me. We can't figure out where it goes. Do you have ANY insight as to where that wire goes? it's the ONLY one that's tripping us up.
Use the B and I on the switch for power, B1 and L1 is for lights.
If you already have lights it's a no-brainer. Would be helpful posting a wiring diagram or explaining what is being wired where.

The other wire I believe goes to a solenoid that’s probably near the controller
Great video. How do you know which wire goes to what terminal? (Any other way than tracking what you disconnect?)
Doesn’t matter the orientation of DC voltage wiring so long as one goes in, and the other comes out…
It seems my switch is hooked up in reverse. I dont want to touch it. Is this okay? What happens if I hook it up the other way?
