    Absolutely loving Mobility 2.0 guys! Nearly at the end of the course and although i haven't mastered all of the moves (some I'm still on the earliest progressions, and unfortunately i cannot get the backbridge walk at all), I've made huge progress in my active mobility. Not sure what to do after i finish, but i think I'm going to revisit the Mobility 1.0 advanced flow and see if i can do better on that (sans the backbridge walk).
    Also, i commented it before in your backflip video, but i would love you to do more stuff ( or even better, a full program) on basic floor / arial/ explosive stuff (maybe even with some rudimentary parkour) such as kip ups, cartwheels, roundoffs, kickovers, butterfly kick, explosive rolls, rocks to handstand, etc. You clearly have the background knowledge and skills for it, and you guys are the best cali teachers out there.

    Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.

    • @benjaminotto5711

      From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $255k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

    The standing up from a sitting on the floor position without using hands would be hard for me. I'm afraid for my knees (I already had issues with them).
    But the spinal twists is great to be able to do. I'm working on my spine anyway, trying to keep it live and flexible, because it makes my whole body live and energetic.
    Regarding the landing - this is what I will include in my daily practice. To jump and be able to land smoothly on my feet - first by touching the ball of my feet, then landing the rest of them.

    Until a few years ago I could not even sit on the floor cross-legged, let alone stand up from that position. Then I started some mobility work and progressed slowly by first standing up from a small chair, then a yoga block, a pile of printing paper, ... until i could do it from the floor. Now I practice this almost daily.

    Question about soft landings: wouldn't it be better to kind of transition into a deeper squat? As you "travel" greater distance vertically, the stop of the motion isn't as abrupt and the speed drops in a more graceful manner, which is the goal.

    • @wecraft11
      @wecraft11 10 місяців тому +1

      Well for the heights shown in this video, it's not necessary. But for bigger heights, yes a deeper squat is important. But not even that alone, you should also use your arms in this situation and trying to travel forward and up directly after the landing. So you have to absorb even less momentum. In parkour this landing is called a "safety tap" and the hop out can be a "ground kong" or a "galopp" (not sure) or of course a roll, when you have enough forward momentum in your fall. The silenter the landing is the better.

    • @calimove
      @calimove  10 місяців тому +4

      There are many things that have an influence on that. Height, speed and what you do after the landing are only a few. I would not go too far down. A biomechanical principle says it's not about the maximum way of acceleration but the optimal. You can produce the most force in the higher knee angles so it makes more sense to absorb the most energy in that area, not down in the last few inches. It also helps you to not smash into your joints but keep better control of the movement. Also when you want to go forward after the landing going too deep makes it difficult to do so. So it's not a one fits all solution. As I like to say:" It depends" 😂 but never ALL the way down. Even after the drop from the bar I don't go all the way down. There should always be some room left when you start going up again.
