@@onizuka816 In the mobility program you will train from 3 to six days a week. Every level has some exercises you have to do every day of the level. Im doing it right now and I utterly recommend the program. Im currently on week two, level two. My posture have improved, im more mobile and i have even gained some muscle mass in the back. I look at the program as a full body low intensity complex workout that makes your body a lot more functional. Believe me, it is.
Also i have started two weeks ago their complete calisthenics level one, but I do not want to make an opinion about it until i see if it gives good results or not.

Calisthenics helped save my life !
3.5 years ago I was 320 lbs could not do any of these exercises , nor was I interested! Lost 150 of those pounds, then naturally moved towards calisthenics. I could only do a few knee pushups no pull ups no chin ups.
Today,I work out a little 3-4 times a week , and do pushups every day. My goal this year is a muscle up! Consistency is key to build your routine. Thank you for the awesome content guys! Cheers everyone !!

This comment is for those who had some time in a gym. I use to go to the gym when I was younger, now I'm 26. I stopped because I didn't like the environment anymore. After this time I became a sedentary person. I just got started on calisthenics, but I have lots of behaviors from the gym such as train hard until you defeat your muscles. Nevertheless, I just realized that with calisthenics doesn't work like that at all. I trained a feel days like a weight lifter or a body builder trying to do calisthenics, except for the fact that I have a sedentarious body with no strength and flexibility. To sum up, I tricked myself with my "previous knowledge" and I did not pay attention to the basics, I'm felling lots of muscular pain for all over my body and I'll get a day off and restart at the proper way.
PS: I'm from Brazil. I apologize if my english isn't very good but I'm also studying english. Thanks for the comprehension.

I started my journey a few months ago. I started with 2 sets of calisthenics on the flat floor. With burpees prior or towards the end of the set. I'm 22. Used to work out when i was 14-16 maybe early 17

There are a lot of advanced exercises for legs in Calisthenics that most people do not know about. Pistol squat can be considered as an intermediate exercise. The more advanced are Nordic Curls, hanging leg extensions (require additional equipment for holding legs), Sissy squat, sitted V-sit leg raises etc. The number of possible leg exercises and their difficulty is limited only by imagination.

thanks for pointing out that a comlete beginners goal could be to do a clean negative pull up :) I've started learning pull ups half a year ago and still cant do one but I finally am able to do multiple slow reps of negatives. at the very beginning i was just falling down immediately and i thought i was weird because lots of people suggest negatives for beginners . Love you guys!

    Dear Calisthenicmovement
I had a question, I have alot of pain from my tailbone whenever I do lying down exersices such as leg raises or Frog presses etc. Does this mean I should avoid these exercises or am I doing something wrong. Or perhaps is it because i am a special case where I just have a bigger tailbone which is causing this pain?
I hope you could help me, you seem like a professional in this sort of thing :)

hi calisthenics movement, I am grateful to your channel for teaching me movements I thought I will never do.
follow up question. I had a car accident where I fracture my right clavicle. last december. right now I have plates implanted to my right shoulders. I would like to know your opinion on how to get back in training on the time I have the approval to do physical activities. I havent talked to a therapist yet because Im still waiting for my shoulder to heal. I appreciate your videos for sharing your knowledge to us.

    • @calimove
      @calimove  4 роки тому +2

All right. First you have to talk to your doctor if you can start with the rehab training and if there are movements you should avoid etc.
If you are ready to go, start with easy exercises and work your way up step by step. Try the exercises from this video BUT only if they are allowed in your current state: ua-cam.com/video/d-d5kuSFBMk/v-deo.html

I've been watching these videos forever now and i really want to get one of these workout thingys XD They do look amazing in every way but i'm always worried about diet. Since i can do buncha excersises somewhat, the diet to support all those muscle grows is the only thing keeping me from getting it mostly since i have no idea which foods have like what good fats and whatnot. :) But if i could get that sorted out, i would 100% get the mobility program since i really need some mobility in my body.

    Serious question:
Were these bodies built with calisthenics (Notwithstanding the leg training), or were they built in the gym with weight training over time and then simply refined using calisthenics?
(I'm new to the channel so if the answer is found elsewhere my appologies).
