This is true i am suffering with this pain also i am 47 year old female and the pain is horrific and i am in physical therapy and its not helping yet . prayers for you hope you do get better soon
7 months on and I can walk and do most things but have to be very wary of sudden movements, my pain now is the outside of my calf but I'm coping, physio helped enormously and exercising before getting out of bed is a MUST. I do hope you all get some relief from the agonising pain.
Same I'm in my 20s and my hip just started this shit and it hurts to lay on my right side walk sit down when I push on it. I hope this is all it is tho I haven't seen a doctor yet bc no insurance.
I was diagnosed with this at my hip and it was the reason why I got medically discharged from the military. It keeps coming back and it gets so bad I can’t even walk and hurts down my leg to where even hurts to bend my knee
I’ve had bursitis for 3 years now. Was also diagnosed with arthritis and sciatica. Had 2 shots. 1 year of pt. The pt left me in worse pain. I retired early and sitting around definitely helps but I know it is so bad for me. I’ve actually just given up. Such is life.
It could be worse. I am on a catether with a leg bag probably from now on at 74. While walking out of the grocery store I spotted a guy much younger with legs that were swollen to the size maybe 30 plus inches or more and the flesh looked putrid. He actually had large shields strapped to his legs I guess for support. I don't know how he even lifted and moved his legs but he did and kept going. Mine is minor compared to what he was facing!
@@graciousme2258 You hopefully will not have too many issues you are not expecting. I was told by a panel of orthopedists at age 11 that I would have very bad arthritis.
I’m 41 and I’ve done heavy lifting all my life and usually feel great but every few years this pops up and it hurts really bad . I’ve torn muscles and broken a few bones and this is just as bad pain wise . Evertime the same thing happens it starts and it’s extremely painful for a few days then im able to get into some stretching and hv to start super light on the weights and work my way back up . I know everyone is different but for me as soon as the super painful stuff starts to ease up the faster I can get back to at least light lifting mobility the faster the recovery is .
Keep searching the videos. This video is a good informative but does not show you excercises to do. I found a chiropractic video that is very helpful to strengthen the gluts (butt muscles) and give hip bursitis a chance to heal. We can keep inflaming the sac by doing strenuous things and it reinjures or stays inflamed. Keep searching until you find something that works.
I recently had a physical therapist do shock wave treatments something everyone is raving about. The treatments didn't work with my problem which is hip bursitis. I have tried everything and nothing helps so I'm through!
I’ve tried PRP and shock therapy…nothing works…can only walk slowly…have three small kids and I used to run around and play and do sports with them…no more 😔😔
I’ve had two shots and they do help....not really painful either. My doctor sprays this cold stuff on the injection site first. Pain is sill there tho but not as bad. Wish he would say what kind of PT would be beneficial.
I went to see Physical Medicine at kaiser about my hip pain. I asked him about an injection. And he said he would not recommend it because it would affect the bones. But if I wanted it he would set it up for me. Are these injections safe?
I drank milk of magnesia for a week. Over the counter, recommended dosage. It's a laxative, but the pain was cut in half in the first 24 hours of consuming it. I'm so glad I did it.
At last I got a diagnosis last week.I've been dragging myself around on a walking stick since Christmas,on opiates it became so painful. The 1st GP had me convinced I needed a hip replacement after seeing my xrays, now I think he's an idiot I wont see again.Just waiting for the covid backlog to clear fior the shots,God help me,,the drugs don't work anymore.
I am taking a Zpack for a sinus infection (Prednisone) and it has reduced the infection quite a bit on day 3 but when I went walking for 2.5 miles today I noticed that my hip pain on my right side has also gone away!
I've had this pain on my left hip for over a year I thought it was my hip but my doctor said that my xray was ok and then I thought it was sciatica but switched to laying at night on my right side now that hip hurts and I can't lay face up I'm just not used to laying that way I need relieve soon and I've had cortisona shots before on my feet and knee and shoulder and they didn't help much
I fell on my hip a few days ago... my back is fine, the pain went away within 2 days... but when I move, I feel like there's some tearing going on inside my skin---and it hurts like hell. 😢

Hi Grey, we're sorry to hear you've been in pain for so long. In order to diagnose the cause of your pain and have it treated, we would recommend telling your parents and scheduling an appointment with a physician near you.
Please share this with your parents. For multiple reasons. 1. It might be something that runs in the family. They may already have a cure for you. 2. In case something happens to you, you can't talk (God forbid), they will be able to let the Dr know if necessary.

This is the most debilitating injury of my life. I have my first Ironman on Sep 17th & I currently can no longer run. If you take too much pain medicine. Such as Strong aspirin. In that category Can Cause you to Bleed out of your rectum.
