Trochanteric bursitis unfortunately I have had this since I was 42 years old and I am now 63 years old. I can't take shots in the hips even though they use the biggest needle from the hospital to do it because it renders me unable to walk. In addition I have this condition not because of a car accident not because of a family history of having any kind of bursitis. I have this type of hip bursitis because of being sexually abused and physically beaten actually kicked from head to toe for 11 years as a kid because my mother was married seven times. Unfortunately I suffer from a number of other internal conditions because of that physical abuse. I've tried different exercises hot and cold heating pads never trying to lay on the worst side which is my left. I don't wish this on anyone because in my case others may be lucky and I hope they are but in my case I can't walk very long I mean dancing everything has just been affected so much unfortunately. Hip replacement surgery is not an option for myself or anyone that has this type of hip bursitis because this is the type you end up with at least 95 to 98% of hip replacement surgery patients unfortunately end up with this type of hip bursitis just because of the surgery. Only putting this information down because various people in various medical positions and study and knowledge could come up with various ways they think could help a person possibly. I don't know because I've not had anything other than trying to do my own things along with medication etc just to deal with the pain. And as far as what type of doctor I have I have been seeing is a orthopedic doctor/pain management specialist. Hopefully if somebody reads this and they happen to be in the state of Georgia and either themselves or someone they know currently see an individual with this medical title that I may possibly be able to transfer from one state and bring to the state of Georgia. I wish everyone who has this condition as well as any other condition they're dealing with and their family members I wish you all the very best I hope everyone has many many days that they're feeling great and that any of those out there that are able to get cured of anything that ails them good for you right on and I wish nothing but the best for you and everyone take care of my brothers and sisters from all walks of life
My pain seems to get worse when lying down even if I avoid lying on the side that hurts. I feel better when standing. Hip hurts more the longer I sit down. Can this be cured?
@@UserChris21 On the outside of my right hip. I think I am starting to heal because I am feeling like when I lay down it is not painful anymore but only a tiny sensation. I can now lay on either left or right hips without a problem. I am feeling better and less and less pain. But it is not completely gone yet.
