Turning out to be one of the best youtubers going. Im part way and genuinely loving it. the intro, perfect. Honestly love seeing it when you've got a new video in my feed!
Awesome mate, looks like a great spot👍, i do agree with you about the horse population, beautiful animals but to many of them. Thanks for sharing and stick with the fishing you’ll get there.
Great move giving the Yabby a stick to hold on to so it didn't nip you! I know what you mean by life and work being crazy. getting outdoors is sometimes the best medicine. Like your new bug net, looks pretty cool. Overall, Excellent video, nicely put together with great editing and good music choice.
I liked when he gave the yabby the sticks to hold too - made me think of all the times where that would have saved me some effort to avoid getting nipped in the past lol
not all adventures turn out as you imagine them to before you head out. You made the best of it and looks like you had a good time. Personally, I enjoyed the views. Atb to ya
Ahhhh Erik, just when u think you've covered it all........along comes Brumbies to add to your collection of surprises!!...and now another beer to sample before Christmas!....loving the posts as always mate and now the countdown of waiting begins all over again.☹😉😁...cheers to this channel🍻 and wishing you and yours a great Christmas and many more uploads in the new year!!!!....take care my friend.👍🏼
Giddy up Erik, yeah a different one for you. But still enjoyable. Fishing is sometimes, you wonder what am I doing wrong. Love the horses, but we both know they are a bad thing for our beloved Ozzie bush. That bug net would drive me crazy because I have to have leg room when sleeping.
Thanks Glen, yeah something different but had heaps of fun. I was worried about the same thing with the bug net, but I didn't have any issues. We will see how it goes after a few more nights. Cheers
Hey Erik, enjoying your videos. I'd love some sort of hiking and camping basics, I'm just starting to get into it and there's a lot of small tricks that seem to abound in more experienced hikers. Stuff like freezing a steak so that it'll keep for the first day, that sort of thing.
trout tend to play with you, they feed on the yabbies on the bottom too that yabbie might have been good bait. Yes I know I will probably cop flack for saying it but its true. Enjoying your vids.
Looks like heaps of fun! Haven't hit up that area for an adventure before! We re being a bit timid getting out into the thick of it while fires are ravaging everywhere at the moment, but will put this area on the list of places we want to go when the weather is better for it!
Awesome stuff buddy. I was up in Kosciuszko last month and it was amazing. I understand the frustrations with fishing but then again that's fishing for yah. Keep up the good work!
Yeah definitely not much water around at the moment. I think the purpose of this dam is to divert water to other dams as part of the Snowy Hydro Scheme, so the level seen here is probably not that unusual. Thanks for watching!
These scale of these fires has been emense and unfortunately nearly all of the places I have made videos at have burnt or are burning. The two or three other places, including from this video will likely come under threat soon. When the fires have stopped and it is safe to do so, I'll start visiting my favourite places again and see how they have fared, and I'll share that on this channel. It may take many month's until these areas are accessible again.
Thanks for your videos, enjoyable to see local'ish presentations. I'm afraid many of the areas I think you walk in may well have suffered with the current wild fires going on now. Budawangs etc seem to be areas of concern? So much wildlife, habitat burnt. I shall watch your video later during dinner time.
Great video. Looks like an awesome hike. Very beautiful scenery. Subscribed to your channel.,✌️
This is the rig i'm looking to build, good to see it in action
No fish! You should of kept the yabbie lol. Fantastic spot, great video thanks for sharing

Great tarp setup.

Another awesome adventure production. Keep it up. See you out there one day
Yeah poor thing, would not have lasted long with the birds about. Thanks for watching, cheers!
That scene behind you at the start, those clouds & trees👌... Another really enjoyable vid..🌞

Great vid mate.... just a side note ..the brumbies cause a whole lot less damage to the Australian bush than humans do..fact..
another good one mate, thanks again!
Great photography and editing.
Thank you!

Beautiful area. The first thing that stood out though, was how low the water was. Same all over the country I suppose.

Looks like a yabby trap might be the go next time, no trout, at least you'll have breakfast :)
Lol think you might be right
Great vid mate, looks alot like tantangara?
Has the bush fires effected where you go to camp......... after the fires are out will you do a video of what it looks like?
These scale of these fires has been emense and unfortunately nearly all of the places I have made videos at have burnt or are burning. The fires are bad, I really feel for the people, animals and country impacted, it is going to be a very long summer.
Great vid as usual Eric. What lake were you at it looks great
Thanks! I don't normally share locations, but this one (Tantangara) is known well enough. Cheers
Great video....... try some worms as bait next time under a float.....
Thanks for watching, yeah definitely going to try worms next time. Cheers
What brand are your candle lanterns mate? Am guessing kero/metho?
UCO is the brand - candles on that trip were beeswax, but now have citronella ones too.
Forgot the pegs but not the beer, hehehe
Warm beer FFS
