    My wife and I really enjoyed this Erik. She grew up not far from there and now lives in Sydney, though we visit family in your country regularly. We are now very much looking forward to doing such a hike-camp and appreciate your efforts, wonderful content and excellent production skills as well! You have left us in suspense and we will await your next instalment with a great anticipation. Cheers from Sydney - Dave PS. I'm planning an overnight kayak-camp with my daughter in the next week or so - will be great fun!

    Fantastic bushwalk; I’m glad you managed to get out. That spot isn’t too far from me, either, so you’ve encouraged me to go check it out. If anything, I like that area when it rains. There’s something magical about that country when it’s cold.

    There's no shortage of big roos in that area and they're living off the fat of the land. Wonderful to see those old gnarly trees. ATVB Erik. Let's do more in '24. Bushyboy Oz.

    Take a brolly with you mate. Light as, immediate shelter from the rain and sun and keeps you dryer and shadier than you’d expect and makes a great quick shelter for a bite to eat under. We used them in the army, believe it or not.

    That track would have been perfect for an electric mountain bike. BTW> Those 'pavers' would have come from the top of the chimney. God knows what happened to the rest of the house, but with a hearth that big, that had to have been a huge house.

    I can't remember if I've seen you with a quilt before Eric but I tell ya, I'd be very surprised if you tried a quilt and didn't become an instant convert. I have two of the Alton versions and while they are pricy, damn they are good. The freedom of movement is awesome. F*ck those plovers too😂

    Once I saw the "WOKE" aboriginal country message at the beginning of this video, I turned off. A pity, because I otherwise enjoy this kind of content. Good luck with the future...............

      If you're offended by a simple act of respect and acknowledgent to those that shaped and managed these amazing lands for thousands of years, then yep, this isn't the channel for you.

    • @CamperKev
      @CamperKev 9 місяців тому +3

      @@ERIKOFFTRACK I'm not offended at all. Like many people, I've simply had enough of the leftist political statements forced upon us, within our woke society. I also have as much respect for Aboriginal people, as you do. I have the same respect for every other race of people in this world too. It's taken for granted. We don't need to constantly prove it. It's become tiresome. Especially at sporting events, on Qantas flights, government websites, on the ABC and such like.
