As a quilter it never occurred to me to finish cross stitch in a quilt form! Brilliant! Summer is on the way and so is cross stitching on the screen porch!
Thank you for coming to us despite your having a cold. Hope you’re feeling better. I really enjoyed your video. The tips in gluing trim on pillows was fabulous. I will rewatch Vonna & make my first pillow tomorrow! Your antique display ideas are wonderful and I can’t wait to find a unique item to use. Thanks again for a great time with you today.
Great finishing ideas. I love seeing new ways to finish things. It adds so much variety to your displays. Your stitching is beautiful and i never get sick of hearing different perspectives about market.
What a fantastic video! So much inspiration and eye candy. Your friend Cheryl is so creative, and her work is fabulous. I am a summer girl, and ready for stitching in the warm weather!❤
Thank you so much for the finishing demonstration. Much appreciated because I find finishing intimidating. Patriotic Quaker looks like such a fun summer stitch. 🇺🇸
I always enjoy your videos and learn so much from you! Hope you’re feeling better. My favorite thing about summer is the smell of fresh cut grass. My husband loves to watch those videos on UA-cam. I told him that he needs to do that when he retires - I call it the Lawn Fairy, and tell him he needs to become a lawn fairy because he’s very altruistic and loves working in the yard. Thanks for sharing your stitching and be well!
Always love the 3 favorite things section of your videos! I've watched SB Mowing videos before. So satisfying to watch and so nice of Spencer to do. It's nice to see the people who are truly appreciative of his service. Thanks for holding on their towards the end! Colds & coughs are rough to recover from sometimes.
Thank you for keeping me company this morning Sheri, I have enjoyed watching and have been inspired to try some new ways of finishing, I have quite a few , it may take me all Summer.
I really learnt some fantastic tips and ideas Sherri, I usually just finish my stitching into pillows or put in frames because I have no idea what to do, but I now I do, I love to walk on the beach during the Summer, with the sound of the ocean and the breeze blowing the stress of life away, so many people spend too much time cooped inside. Have a wonderful week.
Thxs for all your inspirational ideas. I can’t wait to watch your videos. I always learn new things. We can enjoy Spring stitching before Summer arrives.
Thank you so much for a wonderful Flosstube! I enjoyed so much seeing all your projects and I always enjoy your bits of wisdom that you give about stitching and especially finishing as that’s the struggle for me. I am looking forward to the wonderful days of SUMMER - picnics, sitting out on my porch and getting to see more of my neighbors after being inside for the cold winter!
I love your finish demonstration. Also love it whenever you talk about color. I enjoy your shop talk and all the new market releases. They are so interesting and fresh. Where I live it is summer all year around.
Love the finishes and projects! Thanks for sharing and demonstrating. I love summer because of the warm weather, lack of snow and longer daylight hours. Take care.
The project bag for summer Christmas stitching is adorable! Thanks for sharing all your finishing tips Sheri - we always learn so much from you! Happy stitching :)
Another packed full of stitching goodness!! Love seeing all you finishes and whips. I love Summer and the bag is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your love of needlework and keeping me entertained while i stitched on my grandsons graduation sampler!
Finally had some time to watch your flosstube! Thank you for your upbeat, fun videos. I truly appreciate your work, style and you. You shared so many great ideas for finishes I thought I would share this idea. I finish many of my smalls in pillows and purchased a huge open basket from Target to put out of season stitched pillows for storage. Probably 40+ pillows, I set them next to my sofa and friends and family go thru them. An easy way to keep them all out but stored at the same time. I pull out each seasons pillows as it comes along. Until your next flosstube, have a great month.
My stitchy plans for 2025 is to stitch up all the Christmas patterns I have collected over the years. That lovely summer bag would be wonderful to store a project in.
I thank you for always teaching new ways of doing all the things. I have been fully finishing lately with the help of my husband. I hope to get all my fully finished done by this Summer.
Thank you for the finishing tips. I love the fact you can glue trim around a pillow! I over complicated this and thought the trim had to be sewn. 🙄 I also had no idea the hobby stores will cut foam board. I took the skin off one of my knuckles cutting it with scissors. 😣 I get so excited when I see you have a new video. Thanks always for taking the time to make these in spite of all you have going on. 💕🪡 Kari B
Thank you for such a pleasant time!! I just recently heard of Flosstube in Just CrossStich Magazine, and found out about your channel. I began with your first one and have just finished your most recent. Now I suppose I’ll have withdrawal symptoms since I’ll have to wait a month for another one! 😊 I began stitching in 1978 and it is so much fun hearing you mention the designers who were publishing in those days. And most of all, it is still thrilling to see pictures appear on blank fabric! By this SUMMER I hope to have a 1987 wedding sampler finished. The couple is still married, so maybe it will be an anniversary gift! 😊 Thank you for all the inspiration!
Thanks for finding me! And I love that you will be finishing that wedding sampler. Lovely that they are still married and you can make it an anniversary gift!
Thanks for finding me! And I love that you will be finishing that wedding sampler. Lovely that they are still married and you can make it an anniversary gift!
Summer is coming. Will be here before we know it. Thank you for your encouragement and ideas on finishing stitched projects. I’m not a finisher, but want to start and learn.
Another lovely video, you are so easy to watch and listen too, I have three favorites, I have never kept a journal, maybe its time. I am a one at a time stitcher, Spring Quaker is lovely, congratulations on your fully finish, and the progress on your wips. Scattered Seeds Samplers designs are so adorable, lovely finish, thank-you for the demo on how you did the curvy top, you have chosen lovely frames for the finishing touch. The Bee quilts are so pretty. I have never used glue for finishing trims, I am encouraged to do so now. Love the strawberry glasses. Nice new stash.
I'm so sorry you came back from Market sick, and I'm. glad you're better. My son and husband watch a UA-camr who does the same thing - cleaning up yards that are a disaster. It is fascinating. I can see how that would be addictive to watch. I LOVE Ed Mar needles. I'm so happy you are carrying them now. One more reason to drive to FoCo more often!! Summer. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!!
Summer stitching is the best! Thank you for showing us all those finishing ideas and repurposed antique finds. You have my antiquing radar recalibrated for my next shopping session!
I’m not wanting to skip over spring, but so looking forward to SUMMER! The finishes you shared were just awesome. Tell your friend that her quilting finishes were just amazing and beautiful! Such a great idea. Thank you for spending your time with us.
I am so anxious for summer. We love to garden and enjoy all the veggies. I enjoy your videos and all the interesting things you find at the antique shops you visit.
This was the first video I have watched on UA-cam and I love it. Lots of great finishing ideas and great ideas for SUMMER stitching. I will be watching in the future ❤
Loved your video as usual. Thanks for taking time to show your different finishes. I don’t know how you get so much done! Summer will be here before we know it! 😊
Thank you for sharing all those lovely ideas for finishing. I loved the square pillow with the cute kitties. It makes me smile with all the different venues doing Christmas in July. Lovely way to spend the summer. Take Care.
I watch the mowing show. At first I wondered why I liked it so much lol. It is just so satisfying. Thank you for all your antique look outs and ideas. I am so looking forward to summer.
I am always so glad to see your videos post! I always learn something new! Spring and pollen have come to Tennessee but summer will be here soon. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us!
A little late watching this episode but just wanted to say hi. Loved seeing your special "glasses" from your grandmother. I am fairly certain the were first bought containing strawberry jellt or jam. I have some that have little oranges on them that held the best orange marmalade. We always hoped that the jars wouldn't change too quickly so we would have a chance to collect a set. Glasses came in a lot of products up into the 50's and early 60's, laundry detergent, peanut butter, glasses were even in bags of chicken feed, cattle feed, just about everything at one time or another. Gas stations gave away glasses with a gas purchase. What a fun time it was.A 29 cent jar of jelly in a pretty drinking glass.
It's been a long time coming but I think summer is finally here. I have just found your channel and I am enjoying it very much. Thank you for sharing with us.
Hi Sherri! The pops of color on your Silhouette piece look so good, and I love how your Sarah Milthorpe sampler is looking too! Thanks for all of the tips and encouragement you give us on using color. I recently had to do a bit of color changing for two pieces, and I could hear your words in my head when I was selecting colors😊. I enjoyed seeing the several ways you finish projects. I fear that pillows are becoming the new "framed finishes" of years past. It's always great seeing the clever ways people have found to finish things. Happy Easter!
Loved all your WIPS. Your stitching is really beautiful. I especially liked the Teresa Kogut charts you showed… you are a real enabler, in a good way… With a mild winter here in the northeast and a cold and snowy spring, I am really looking forward to summer. Happy stitching!
Summer in SC is not my favorite. I don't like hot and humid weather. But the rest of the year is quite mild. I enjoy all of your videos. I learn a lot from your channel.
I’m really looking forward to summer! I’m dreaming about my gardens and getting my hands in the dirt! Thanks for the inspiration. I really enjoy your flosstube post!
As always - it’s a pleasure to watch and listen, to see all the Beauties and get inspired ❤ Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi Sherri! So good to see you again, Sherri everything you showed was simply beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing. 🌸

Your pretty strawberry glasses will be perfect for ice tea this summer.
