Cross Stitch Camp Challenges:
May Mini Challenge: Stitch this Camp Badge with your own choice of five colors!
June Challenge: Take a one color pattern and add a splash of color to it. OR - Take a multi-color pattern and stitch it in one color.
July Challenge: Change out at least two colors in your pattern to something more "you".
August Challenge: Stitch something new to you (new fabric color or count, or new thread, or new designer, or new way of finishing, etc.)

One of them is something I've begun to do recently, and that is changing colors on a sampler and adding color to a one-color sampler. I am very excited and intrigued with your color challenges for this summer's camp. I can't think of a color I don't like so this will be so much fun. I have fond memories of going to church camp in the summer. I grew up in south Georgia so sweet tea was the summer beverage of choice. You have some lovely finishes and WIPS! Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us!

I’ve never felt I have a good eye for color. I have struggled to change colors and feel like they work together. I’m inspired by your camp challenges to try and change things up. I’m hesitant, but willing to try! My favorite summertime drink is my favorite anytime drink, Dr. Pepper.
Sherry, thank you for a very informative video. I wasn’t sure about doing summer camp this year but hearing the different challenges gave me an idea. I am going to use one monochromatic Christmas ornament design and stitch it three times. Once for each challenge and each one will be a gift to one of my children and their families. I may even do the badge challenge just to see what colors I come up with and use a different specialty stitch for each color. Satin stitch, Smyrna, eyelet, Rhodes stitch, … Thank you again for hosting summer camp and I hope their is plenty of lemonade which is my go to drink in the summer🙋🏽♀️
Summer cross stitch camp is my favorite time of year! It always pushes me in the best ways. My favorite summer drink is Italian peach and raspberry cream soda! It’s a splurge but so great on a hot day!
My favorite summertime beverage is like an "Arnold Palmer" - Celestial Seasonings Cold Brew Iced Tea, Half and Half Iced Black Tea and Lemonade (unsweetened). If I went to camp I would definitely bring it with me.

∫CLINTON IOWA??? No way! I was born and raised in Clinton Iowa as well!!!! Grew up on Roosevelt Street and then moved to the other end of town as a teenager! My parents still lived there until about 6 years ago! Such a small world!!!

Love your videos! My favorite summer beverage is Grilled Lemonade!! We have a 4th of July campout at our home and about 35 guests attend. Every year they are so excited for the Grilled Lemonade! Slice lemons, dip cut side in sugar. Grill until sugar is caramelized. Then juice the 8 lemons, add juice to simple syrup of 2 cups water,1 1/2 cups sugar. Then mix all the above with 5 cups water. I promise you'll love it❤

Lots to think about from your video. Beautiful finishes and the idea of exploring color in Cross Stitch Camp is excellent. Our refrigerator always has a pitcher of sun tea made from a flavored herbal tea like strawberry, watermelon, mango, etc. No calories, no caffeine and a nice refreshing taste. Look forward to visiting again in June. Stay well!

Ice cold lemonade! The summer Camp Challenge has been difficult for me as I never change any colors on charts. It's not that I am fearful to change them, but rather, I was drawn to them due to their color and design in the first place. This is really stretching me beyond my comfort zone! 😅

I always loved to go to camp as a kid! But adult stitching camp is even better. Diet Dr Pepper is my favorite summertime beverage... oh, wait - it's my favorite year-round! This was my first visit to your FlossTube channel and I have subscribed. Now I need to find the time to go back to the beginning and watch ALL of the fun! My favorite summer time drink was always ice tea because "back in the day", my mom only made it in the summer. Speaking of back in the day, my elementary school always took the 6th grade students on a week long trip to camp. It was the first time I was away from home for that long. I loved it and learned how to swim that year!
