Summer is coming to an end! The weather is feeling better outside these days. Thanks Cherie!
When I came back to stitching in 2020 and flosstubers were talking about ‘orts’ I laughed. I thought how funny because orts are scraps from a meal. Thanks for your videos, always enjoyable! Kris
I've never heard that definition - good to know!
This SUMMER in Oregon has been the sunniest one I can remember!! Thank you for all your great ideas!!
I’m so sad summer is coming to an end. I have loved cross stitch camp, thank you for this!
Since summer is coming to an end, I am feeling the need to finish some of my sampler projects before Christmas stitching begins. The year is going by so quickly! You have given us another great video. Thank you!
I am ready for summer to be over. I love fall and all of the coziness it brings ♥️
Summer is a great time of year to relax and refresh ❤😊
I am enjoying summer especially in Littleton, CO. The foothills are fantastic!
Summer is almost over. It was fun to see what you did with your case, it gave me some ideas. I liked the fun fall projects to make. Have a great week!
Absolutely love your new designs for sisterhood/brotherhood/fellowship of the needle. Perfect!
Thank you for being our SUMMER camp leader. Plans for September is similar to Maynia, 4 days each week on an existing WIP, one main and a couple seasonal smalls.
Hello from Tennessee! I just found your flosstube channel and completely enjoyed stitching while watching! Thank you. I'm glad summer is nearly gone so I can get back outside in the garden. 💙
Sherri I love your ❤ Travel case and all the goodies ❤❤❤
I always enjoy your videos. I really appreciate that you are always suggesting ways to improve or grow this hobby. Very important in product life cycles. Thanks for your creativity and business sense.
Thank you so much - what a sweet comment!
Sad to see summer coming to an end, but the colors of fall are so beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration!!
I can’t believe Summer is almost over. Happy Stitching 🧵
Summer summer it's gone what a bummer. Fall fall has my heart of all the seasons y'all.
Your videos are among the best on floss tube. Entertaining, informative, educational and just plain enjoyable. I truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into them. Summer is almost over in my mind. I love Fall and Sept. is my birthday month so I will stitch Fall and Halloween.
Aww - thank you so much for such a sweet comment - totally made my day!
You remind me so much of my dear cousin who was my sewing cohort. She in California and me in Idaho. We would share everything through our phones and meet up at events. I lost her to Cancer in 2019 and have missed her beyond words. Watching you was like hearing from her. Thank you for being an inspiration and blessing to me.
Aww - I'm so sorry about your cousin. What a wonderful relationship you must have had. I'm gad I remind you of her! ❤❤
I'm not ready for fall but I started stitching Christmas ornaments for all my grandchildren. I love Christmas so I enjoy working on them. Thank you, I really enjoy all your flosstubes.
The suns tilt is changing from summer to fall. What a nice little chat. Your travel case is beautiful even with the ‘wear and tear’ 😢 your ideas to cover it will be just fine. I appreciate how your share ideas and options throughout your floss tube. Until next time.
I can't believe how quickly August went by. We recently moved this Summer to South Carolina. Fortunately Idalia was not all that bad. Alot of rain and wind, oh yes, I forgot to mention 3 tornado warnings in our area. Thankfully we were safe! Moving from Upstate New York, this will take a little getting used too! We love it here. Thank you for sharing your stitching.
Hope you love your new location!
I so enjoyed the cosmetic case turned into a cross stitch case video. Not only
does it show our creativity but our quirky personality. What a lovely idea to fill in the cartouches with the fruit of the spirit. Oh no, don’t ever think I will challenge myself to make a full coverage project. Your little owl is so cute. I want to finish a Lori Holt pattern and start my smaller projects I have kitted. Summer days are over, fall is here in Maine.
Another great video! Summer is still really hot here in Tennessee 🥵 but better off than some. I am really ready for some cooler weather! For September I will just continue my regular rotation of 6 projects. Keeps me out of trouble 😂 Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us
Summer is a busy time for harvesting all the yummy veggies. I am already decorated for Fall. Thanks for sharing all your stitching and finishing ideas. I learn so much from your videos.
It was a wonderful summer . Not happy to say good bye to summer
It was such a treat to discover stitch camp, I really enjoyed this summer with each months challenge. Thank you so much ❤
I'm so glad you camped along with us this summer!
Thank you for hosting summer camp. For my August stitch I did your Thankful Turkey pattern on 25 count, such a happy stitch. I look forward to winter camp. Your new pattern is very lovely. I have started a bewitching pixie from Nora Corbett on the first and then on the fourth I started a birthday fairy for a gift. The only other plans I have for September is to do a small sunflower stitch. It was fantastic to see your finishes.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching! Summer
Great to see you today. Loved your Crowns and Shields finish by Blackbird Designs! Take care. Happy Stitching! 🧵
I so enjoy your flosstube! You always have such wonderful things to share! My summer has gone by too fast! I think your new chart is fabulous! I ordered one before your flosstube was over!😁😂 you are such an enabler! Happy stitching!
Thank you so much! ❤
Your berries are great. Oh my your cute pillows. Thank you for doing cross stitch camp.
I’ve just found your channel this summer and I’m enjoying everything you stitch and your sweet voice and personality.
I'm so glad you found me - thanks for watching, Diane!
Thanks for a lovely FlossTube - lots of great ideas and projects! I love fall so I’m definitely ready for summer to be over. 😊
Thank you for sharing your work and keeping us inspired! Great summer here with tomatoes canned for the winter. I am stitching a small Christmas ornament for each of my 10 grandchildren. I stitch a different design every year.
Just found you on UA-cam. Love watching you and all the patterns and your stitching. Will be ordering something soon. Also, summer is my favorite time of the year.❤️
Thank you for the wonderful video, Sheri. Always a delight.
Thanks so much for watching!
Goodbye summer. Fall and cooler weather can’t come soon enough. Love the colors in the CM charts.
Thanks for sharing all your fun things!! I’m always happy for summer to be over, I like the coolness of fall!
It was great to see you at Summer School again this year! It was so much fun that I didn't want it to end. Your new pattern really says it all about our community. I am stitching my small for the smalls exchange at my next retreat. Also, planning to make some table gifts for my tablemates too. Hopefully will get to stitch some on the samplers we received from Summer School too. Stay cool and enjoy all your stitching! Dottie
Fun to see you too, Dottie! Fingers crossed we can both get in again next year!
Now that Summer is almost over, my plan for September is quaker sampling’s III..I enjoy participating in sampler September since samplers are not a normal pattern I stitch so it’s fun once a year to work on one. Last year I stitched A Bee C by primrose and enjoyed having a focus piece for a month. Thank you for wonderful flosstubes..I enjoy your stories and see what you have been stitching. Happy Stitching 🙋♀️
Thanks for watching!
I thought my husband was so supportive too…he would drop me off at my favorite shop and say “take your time I’m going to get coffee” well… he went and picked up more than coffee,! I don’t think her hobby was cross-stitch! 🤯…. Lol! Now I enjoy the symbol X in more ways than one! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Summer is ending, fall is my favourite! Great video, thank you for sharing!
Summer is a time for relaxation and vacations!! Sherri... I wish you were my LNS!! My September STITCHING will be to work on 8 samplers (2 a w eek)that are already started plus one more for my BD start (2nd)!! STITCHING friends I must get!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2023!!
Well, we can be your online LNS! 🙂
Your full coverage piece is so cute Sheri…I bet it would be adorable on the front of a project bag. I love strawberries and those are wonderful. Blessings, Marlene
Thank you Marlene!
Beautiful finish! Love watching while stitching.
Thanks for watching!
This summer has been hot. Bees flying around make it seem cooler.
Really enjoyed the catch-up and hearing about the retreat....You are so generous with your sharing and I so appreciate it.
Thank you!
Summer is Fort Collins is beautiful with potted and hanging flowers everywhere!! I am stitching five days on five different WIP samplers in Sampler September.
Dog days of Summer! Bring on the pumpkin spice 😊
Awesome video! You definitely enable me, Miss Sheri! The CM designs are all amazing and so different. See you soon!😍
🙂❤
I enjoy your floss tube. I love summer.
I love your summer camp-for me, participating once per year makes it a unique kind of fun. I tend to lose interest when there’s always some challenge going. Thanks again! ⛺️
Same with me, so summertime and a one month Winter Camp seems just about right to me!
I am not ready to say goodbye to summer. I have already started fall and Halloween.
This SUMMER has been too hot! Loved the flosstube!
Summer is almost over and my favorite season will begin. Enjoy the remaining summer days! 😊
I am going to miss summer! Colder weather means more stitching time, but also no more outdoor Pickleball!
I don’t even feel like we had summer! Much, much cooler here than usual. I’m hoping that doesn’t mean I’m cooking thanksgiving dinner in a tank top 🫤
Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!
Thank goodness summer is coming to an end! I raise honey bees so that bag struck pure Joy in my heart! It’s gorgeous. I love all things that are Stitchers. I just framed your Needleworker that I got when Marlene and I were in the other shop! Now I’ll need y he new sisterhood of the needle. ❤️❤️
Ha - you and Marlene got the first two copies of Sampler Maker!!
I'm ready to say good bye to the summer heat and hello to a more temperate fall. I plan to continue working on a gift that I am making for Christmas. Your new chart is adorable!
Thank you Donna!
Sherri I have loved this years Summer Cross Stitch Camp. You are an excellent host. I will be stitching Halloween smalls for a group of friends who want to have a wonderful Halloween bowl display.
I always learn so much from you. I hate seeing summer go….
Hi Sheri! You do a lot of 1x1 do you have a special technique or do you have a flosstube where you talk about your technique? Thank you !
Sheri, so glad to see back on floss tube 🥰 I will glad for this hot SUMMER to be over, looking forward to fall🍁🍂🌻 your travel stitching box was awesome!! My September plans will be to work on my red smalls that are all kitted up 😀thank you again for summer camp 2023 🤩
I am a lover of summer and the high temps! Winter seems to last too long here in Western NY!
Great stitchy tips and another fun video! Love your new pattern! 😊
Thanks Barb!
Lovely to spend time with you here in UK - the summer has gone and it's raining - which means more stitching time yay :)
Thanks for watching and glad I have a stitchy friend in the UK!
Loved this video and your ideas! One thing that works well on perforated paper is to put washi tape on the edges . It keeps the thread from snagging on the edge as you stitch .
I like that idea - thanks for sharing!
Hanging on to Summer with its lovely flowers, hummingbirds & baby cottontails! Love your videos and looking forward to the next. My goal for September is to start and finish several smalls - looking forward to each season.
Feels like summer is over. I have no plans for September. Your flosstube is really informative. Thank you.
Summer has been to hot here, in Texas. Can’t wait for fall.
Texas SUMMERs are HOT! My first time seeing you. Loved the show and also a lover of the chocolate covered coffee beans.
Thanks for watching and nice to meet you!
Cross stitch camp is so much fun. I didn't finish the July task in time, bit I did finish it! And, well, August won't be done either. I still ilenjoyed participating!
You are keeping me company while i stitch. I added a few things to my wish list. ❤
So happy to keep you company!
So excited for a new video. The "Fruit of the Spirit" was a great idea for the sampler.
Thank you 🙂
Thoroughly enjoy your videos. My favorite season is summer and I'm always sorry to feel fall in the air. I'm focusing on samplers for September. Your new pattern is sensational! .oozing forward to getting it and stitching it. ❤
We are camping this weekend as a tribute to our last summer outing. I’m trying to talk the Mr. Into one Autumn camp out. What a lot of great eye candy to see. Beautiful stitching. See you in September 😊
Thanks for sharing another wonderful flosstube episode. I don't want to see summer go! I have no particular stitching plans for September. It's just whatever comes along. Happy stitching!
I am sick of summer!!! I have always disliked summer, but this year we have been in the 100s for months and no rain in over 65 days, total misery!!
In September I plan to stitch CHRISTMAS and fall smalls.
Same for me. It is my least favorite season and this one has been worse than usual.
I'm glad summer is drawing to a close. I am stitching all of the fall things now!
Summer has gone too fast.
September will be like the rest of the months this year…2 WIPGO projects, 3 more Christmas things and some finishing!
Supporting spouses. To my husband you are the “StLouis lady”
Cause he remembers you lived here. So he is always willing to watch you ! 😊
Ha - tell him hi!
I’m glad the heat is summer is almost over!
You have the best flosstube on UA-cam! Your crown piece is just gorgeous and it is especially nice with the fruits of the spirit. In September I will be working on four different Christmas pieces all smallish in size, all in different reds. I have been stitching on Christmas since July to try to keep cool during this hot summer!
Aww - that is so sweet. Thank you so much, Shari!
I can’t wait until summer is over and fall begins!! 😊
Soooo, I guess it was hot in Arizona….I am not ready for summer to end. Your red case is decorated so beautifully and then when you showed the worn corners (already!) I was heartbroken for you. I hope you find the perfect embellishment for the edge of your cover. Your videos are always so inspiring. Thank you. Blessings and take care.
I will figure out something, because I do love it and want to keep on using it!
It’s been a hot summer. Thanks. 💜
I love the Fruit of the Spirit idea!
I will be glad when summer is over!
That was fun! Liked seeing all of your pretties! You are so nice to listen to.
Sorry to see the damage on your red case😢
Take care
Summer has been so hot! I am ready for cooler temperatures.
I am sorry to see “SUMMER” go although it has been very hot in Tennessee. Love all the cute ideas you show! My plans for September are to stitch Halloween and Fall. Enjoyed your travel case tour and I’m sorry about the edges. I love the old things you have tucked in from your Grandmother. See you in a month❤
It was a nice summer here but fall is my favorite season so I’m looking forward to it! I’m finishing up a Christmas ornament and in the middle of a piece that features three animals from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Hi Sheri! Thanks again for hosting summer camp! 3 projects stitched and one of the 3 ffod! For September I want to put some starts in to some of my kitted up samplers for Sampler Sept. I have been treating them like that fancy bar of soap or pretty candle..lol..they are in project bags too. Once the fabric size is checked and double checked and I can get some stitches in them they can then come out to play anytime I want them! Hoping also to finish a thing or two…Regarding the Carolyn Manning charts, I just started a full coverage last month. On her Facebook page I noticed many stitchers starting in the middle..I asked why and Carolyn answered that because the designs are symmetrical, by starting in the middle, you can work your way around the center, not have to change color constantly, and the design makes more sense. I tried that and found it goes very quickly. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again for all you share!
Fascinating and informative, as usual, Sheri. Thank you! Now that summer is ending, looking forward to cooler weather. :-D
Thanks for watching, Sharon!
So much great information and wonderful ideas. Love the shop updates as well. Hope it’s cooling down a bit for you. It’s still blazing hot 🥵 down here in the Phoenix area.
Thank you! And yes, we've had some lovely evening and morning temps lately - much needed!
Actually having it look worn is good, lots of traveling! 😊
I am so ready for Summer to end but unfortunately, we are still wearing shorts in December on the island in Texas! I want Summer to end because Hurricane season is at its peak and the sooner hot weather leaves the sooner we get Fri TD that will push away the storms!
I loved all your beautiful projects and wonderful ideas! I am going to go on your website and order some of the patterns that you presented. Thanks for sharing! I love your flosstubes…they are so well done!😊
Thanks so much, Robin!
Sheri I'm here in Australia and we are just heading into spring and I can't wait for summer. This has been my first time completing cross stitch camp and I've had a ball. Thankyou so much for organising. ❤
I hope you have a good spring and summer - and hopefully not too hot!
Can’t accept that summer is coming to an end but I have started on fall and Christmas stitching or I will never have any finished 😂
Summer zoomed by as always. For me it is Spooky September. Thanks for another fun inspiring informative episode!
How I wish summer would continue. I have no idea what I'm going to stitch. Have so much and can't decide.
