Welcome! Sew happy you popped up, enjoyed your first video! Bravo! I’ve had no luck with Dhalias in north Ms💔 uugghhhh, hate to say it but I think the stitches are blending in too much on church. Rather than scrapping it entirely, I’d just tweak color choice of dmc. Feeling your pain regarding linen fear- haven’t conquered mine yet🥴
Welcome 😊 brilliant flosstube, beautiful stitching, I was like that with linen but know loving it, I think 2 shade darker I think. Looking forward to see your new plans 😊
Thank you, I love the grey colour its' own but I'm afraid it just not working. The worst thing is I have lots left over in stash and I don't know what projects to use it for!
I am into Dahlia’s and Zinnias too. Floret was the channel that sent me down the rabbit hole of growing my own plants from seeds. She has many great free videos about Dahlias and Zinnias. Congrats on your first flosstube.
Welcome to FlossTube and thanks for this video. I am a big Jacob fan and always seem to have a few MFE pieces in the works. I'm currently working on The River, with a possible finish later this week. Good luck with the start for the wedding piece.
Awesome video! Congratulations on the new channel. That Valentine's SAL from last year was amazing and I had such intense FOMO when it felt like everyone were stitching it. I may break and start it for this valentine's if I manage to finish my sister's birthday present which is due in February.
I enjoyed your video and I also love Modern Folk Embroidery, although I have yet to start any yet. Lots of plans though! I am going to be starting Song of the Nightingale this year and I have the Dwarven Axe on my wishlist. Looking forward to seeing your progress!💕
I'm glad that your floss tube showed up in my recommendations. Very enjoyable. Regarding your stash of 28 count, if it doesn't scare you, don't forget that most of Jacob's patterns are full crosses. So, you can always stitch over one, instead of over two, to continue to use up your 28 count and keep the size manageable.
I loved the video. Congratulations on getting your first Flosstube episode done. I like fact that you had a relatively limited number of WIP pieces and future projects and that you shared a lot of your thought processes as you considered each piece. Many Flosstube videos have such an overwhelming number of WIPs that it's a bit hard for me to relate to them. Your sense of realism was refreshing too. I like the way you decided against the giant wedding sampler, even though you liked it, because it would take too long to.complete and your reasoning behind stitching mostly in 29 count. It was nice too to hear about your deliberations with your husband in choosing fabric and floss colors for the Dwarven Axe. Best wishes as you delve deeper into Flosstube.
Thank you, I get a little self conscious when I see other flosstubers have 20 or 30 WIPs but I realize that I have to stay realistic about my stitching speed. Maybe some of them stitch faster then me or have more frames/hoops so I try to keep that in perspective.
Lovely first video. I think I would leave the peak of the church as is and stitch the lower section in a shade darker.
Great job! Suggestion to take patterns out of plastic so we can see them better without a glare🤓

Claudia....delightful posting...Jacob's patterns are so exceptional...best wishes in 2025❤
Thank you, I hoping to see what Jacob has in store for this year
Love what you do. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. I enjoy when stitchers share their preferences. You have great taste. Looking forward to seeing the next one.
Thank you so much, I will try to get another video up first week of February ❤
Welcome to Flosstube, I like what you do, hope there is more to come

I love Floret, I've been saving to buy her dahlia book! I would like to order some of her seeds but I'm afraid about cross border shipping.

I haven't seen The River before, just the flower would make a beautiful stash busting piece for some smaller cuts of fabric I have!
Fun flosstube! Looking forward to seeing more of your stitching. ❤
Thank you! 😊

Good luck on finishing your sisters birthday present, think of the Valentine's SAL as a rewards for motivation. ❤️

I've actually never stitched 1 over 1, I don't think I've ever had a pattern that called for it but I can try!

Lovely video thanks. Love all the MFE I would stitch every piece of his if I had more time
Me too, I either need to speed up or he needs to slow down though!
