@@RoamingWithRosie I hope that cheap stuff lasts for you. In my 15 years of RVing I've learned to buy the best. Yes, like most I had a coach with the Lippert Thomas Payne furniture with heaters and "massage" electric recline, etc. Junk just like the stuff you have. Then I saw the light and bought the amish handmade Lambright luxe. I took the no electronics version and expect it to last my life. unlike that that Payne junk.
Hope you keep following. We actually sold that RV a while back, so couldnt tell you. However, we know a lot of other RVers who've been very happy with it. Nomadic Fanatic has the same unit. It's very lightweght and comes in pieces to assemble inside. We liked that. We now have another old DP to renovate. But it came with all leather furniture so we wont need to worry about that.

I really love how you took an outdated home and turned it into something absolutely luxurious. I love everything from the color of the paint to the bathroom sink… Literally. I think I want to buy that exact sink. And I love the open countertop concepts from the bathroom to the bedroom. And the mirrors make everything look bigger. What a wonderful conversion! One of the best I’ve seen yet. Thank you for sharing. Leave it or not even though you don’t want to, you probably could go into business lol.
Thank you. We're actually about to do another one since we sold Original Rosie (broke even, which is great) and bought another old one. Started last month on renovation. Hopefully not as much needed as the 1st one though.
I just came across this video and have to say you did a beautiful job. Could not agree more on the oak it just spells cheap and ugly. My wife got a great chuckle talking about the frustration and cursing along the way.

I'll show my husband your beautiful before and after video of Rosie. We have a class C older motorhome and are looking at a class A also older but in amazing condition. Our class c is plenty big enough. I do a lot of the driving and I'm 5' 1" not sure I want a larger class A. Your remodel did it for me. Thank-you Jamie and Linda for sharing your experiences. Your renovation turned out spectacular! It made such a tremendous difference, I bet it feels like a brand new coach. I am in love with the bathroom sink! It’s so gorgeous!!
My husband and I just replaced our “leather” jackknife sofa in our 2016 Sunseeker, with recliners from RecPro. It is a fantastic product and easy to install.

I just cleaned the carpet in our Tradewinds after being in Florida for the winter. The sand didn't surprise me, but the mud I got out of it did. Like you, I replaced the hide a bed couch and had to cut it apart like you. I also put in a double recliner, then our fridge went, so I replaced it with a 7.3 cu ft house fridge, which is smaller then what was in there, but space wise inside it much bigger..
House fridge is great. We save so much money and eat healthier "at home" with fresh ingredients. Our newest DP has a big house fridge. Love it!

You guys are our new greatest find! We have a house sale closing set for April 9, 2022. We’ve been planning this transition for about 2 years now. We’re excited and scared at the same time.
Thank you so much. Our 1st month, we questioned ourselves hourly, then daily, then we kind of settled in. And also accepted that "what was done, was done" so it was time too look forward. Only this week did I (Linda) feel relaxed, brave, complete joy, with the confidence that we are really doing this amazing thing! My self talk up til now was to acknowledge and honor my fears. Know that they are legitimate. And pat myself on the back for taking such a leap to live an unordinary life. Keep in touch. 😉

Way better. I used that Rustoleum kit to re-do my bathroom & hallway cabinets, works great. I bet you were glad to get rid of the carpeting as well! Nice pick on the espresso trim.
I don’t know why they put carpet in RV’s your tracking in dirt and sand etc.

Year of 2022 end or April. I just recently bought myself a 30ft travel trailer. I have been remodeling it ever since I got it. I do the same thing swearing cussing when i bump my head or knock me elbows on something working in tight places. But i have been doing the remodeling myself no one is helping me. As of remodeling I took out one of the bunk beds. Added colorful wallpaper above the first bed. makes it look good. I did a floor make over. Instead of doing hard wood floors I did soft padded flooring over the original flooring i had. Makes it feel so much better. Better than carpet. I do hate carpet. Now I am ripping out the original couch which is easy to do that is tied in and will replace it with recliners. which I like ten times better. I will then replace the crummy hot water heater I have that is a 6 gallon gas tank that just has so many problems. will replace it with all electric and bigger tank. so many things to make rv homey. but it keeps me busy. just do not like the part of bumping my head or racking my knees or elbows. love you all for the video. i have learned that since this is my first year it will take some getting use to living in rv.
I would like to see some photos of the changes you have made. I know a few RVer's who took out the water heater and put in a on demand tank-less. Sore knees and head bumping is just part of the process. Linda has asked me what I'm thinking about when I hit my head. My answer is what I have to do next. We are going to start updating our 2006 Alfa See Ya.

I'm not comfortable with the idea of painting oak cabinetry either! Eek! As a guy, I like the manly den vibes my oak gives me in my coach. But, I'll have to decide here pretty soon. I was thinking of a lighter colored floor and pressed tin ceiling tiles instead of painting the cabinetry!
My coach is 34 years old and has been one of my hobbies since I bought it. Not full timing in it, but I did convert the living room into a 2 seat movie theater! And since I park it inside my shop, having cold drinks & snacks close is a big plus. My shop has a bathroom, so no worries about having to pull it outside to dump the black tanks.
I like this remodel.
Now I've got to see what their new project is.
