Hi Robot, love those little bikes. Got one a 2008 Genuine Buddy Scooter. Not a bad little bike. I've restored it . First moped I ever had was a 1988, Honda Elite. Always enjoyed riding them .
I live on the east coast. If I didn't I'd be banging down your door for that job, entry level or not. The very idea that Robot might actually work on my Buddy 125 or my BV 250 would make it all worth while.
mine has green trim instead of grey, your aftermarket headlights, topcase and I replaced the ugly grey grips! I really enjoyed the vee brand block pattern all terrain rain/winter tire i just ordered two shinko whitewalls and an air filter from you guys! Thank you for including torque specs nobody else on UA-cam cares 😂
"Kenda" tires and "Maxxis" tires are very reliable tires from Tiawan at affordable prices. There are over 20 million scooters in Taiwan 🇹🇼 of 23 million population. So, you can imagine the reliability of prevailing scooter tires in Taiwan.
Kenda makes some of the best bicycle tires you can buy, especially the puncture resistant ones. I’ve got Kenda performance semi slicks on my bike (white walls too!), they not only perform great, they look good too.
I would be interested in the job vacancy, only problem is I live in Scotland. :) The Genuine brand is known as the PGO here in the U.K., apparently it's a take on the Piaggio brand name. I used to have a PGO G-Max 125 it was a great wee scoot. GY6 engine if I remember.
I have the same silver Piaggio BV250 Tourer like the one parked next to Buddy that you're working on. Great scooter you should do review of that bike or some other service video.
Once again you've produced a very informative video. I do have a concern as to why you eliminated the rear brake inspection and cleaning. Most likely due to time constraint of video? Thanks for the great series of videos.
The brakes last so long you almost never need too check them? I have 8k on my pads and they can probably take another 8k mainly because scooters are chill… I roll up too red lights and they turn green before I put my feet down haha and engine braking is instant on an automatic with little momentum/wheels.
Hi Robot - new subscriber, your videos are very educational. Learning a lot from your channel. This scooter is one of my top choices in this segment. Re : the tires, can you still get the OEM white wall that comes with it as a replacement? Any idea how much that tire costs? Labor? Thanks as always and keep up the great videos! Hoping to see some more regarding performance improvements.
Great videos, I would be very grateful if you could please help me out. I have a piaggio zip 4T iget 3v max speed is 30mph what would I need to do to get it 50mph?
Wish I lived in San Diego!
Great shipping department. Ordered parts yesterday morning and they were on my doorstep before noon today, in Seattle! 👍
Right on!
