I'm from Serbia, Europe, and I love the quiz, so I just want to help someone get a spare wheel. These tires are produced in Serbia. 3.25kg equals 7.165lbs Greetings to all Vespa lovers Alex
Wow! great video. It helps to learn how to do-it-yourself. I'm a little hesitant to use a car to break the bead, but that was creative. I found a hammar and helper's knee will break it. You can get plastic rim guards if you don't want to use milk cartains. Loved the video.
oh man I feel this,. My scooter sits. I don't have the tools. I've already broke 2 replacements trying to pull them through the hole, I figured i'd try to just fill it up and hope for the best. tire is ok- it's near impossible on these small tires. I lack the skill
I'm in the US and trust m5300a's estimate of 7.165lbs. I could totally use this tire and would GLADLY pay for shipping. Love the videos Robot. Thanks for all the great information you put out there!
12.3 lbs. There's small bead breaker available that uses a wrench. My 12v. air compressor couldn't seat the bead. I never thought to remove the valve! I did think a ratchet strap around the circumference of the tire might help pucker the tire..
@@VespaMotorsport Also if you put all 3 irons under the bead before starting removal it's way easier than trying to get the second two under after you have one lip of the tire over the rim. In this video he uses 4 but you get the idea: ua-cam.com/video/AkvKws9qk9s/v-deo.html
Who won the wheel? Like the way Robots how it is done and the amount effort needed to do this. It would be cool to see someone follow this video tutorial and change their tubeless tire and share it, my guess it would take twice as much long to get it done compared to what it took Robot.
This guy is really talented.
😎
Robot is great; this just what we all need to know and be prepared for. Great stuff!
He is so helpful. You can learn a lot.
Thanks for tuning in!

Reminded me of John Muir book,
“How to keep your Volkswagen alive, for the compleat idiot”
Loved it and may save my bacon someday.
Peace.

I love all of your videos, very informative and useful 👍🏼
Glad you like them!
Have you ever used the kickstand to break the tire bead ? Scooter weight and foot of the kickstand can work. Just the balancing act that is tough !
Happy Valentines Day from Robot! Meet you in the back of the Jeep. 😂
Ironically, this is the alley behind the shop next to the dumpster 🤷♂️
Great video,as usual,t/y
Great thanks !
You bet!

Good tips, thanks for sharing!
A C-clamp may break the bead.
A bingo ink dauber might work well for holding a bottle of soapy water.
suggestions: 3 tire irons are much easier, use gloves, knee pads or a blanket. good video.
Great tip, thanks!

To remove the tire just stand on the tire and jump up and down keeping your feet on the tire works for me
No rim protectors though? :(

Used a larger rim on top of tire once to break a bead.
