Another educational video that is clear to understand. I Appreciate the way you explained everything 👍
I watched this video and changed out a buddy 125 scooter front tire. this video saved me a lot of headaches, most notably making sure i put the speedo gear on properly so i didnt break it. taking the wheel and brake caliper off easy . getting the tire off the rim, kinda hard. then getting air into the tire was kinda hard too, putting weight on it like you did finally did the trick. you saved me a trip to the motorcyle dealer and some money having them swap the tire. thanks. for all you newbies, set aside 2 hours to do the front tire. i figured an hour but getting the tire off the rim and aired up ate up time.
In the background I can see a Suzuki Burgman, it would be good to see some maintenance videos on that scooter.
GO SAN DIEGO STATE !
My Vespa 300 2010 bought in 2011 new the tires were dry rotted in 2022. Had to replace.
Excellent video but I just don't get white wall tyres.
Wrangling scooter tires on and off the rims is a real hassle. Lacking Robot’s considerable skill and finesse, I cut the old tires off with an oscillating saw and bring the rims and new tires to a shop for mounting. Money well spent.
Thank you for sharing how to changes a tires front & back Mr. Robot because it cost me a lot of money for Dirty deed do it for me plus they did not changes out tire stem too!
Doesn't the wheel of a scooter need to be balanced? Greetings from Germany.
a 10 inch tire is too small to balance. bigger tires, yes.
Seems easier to just use a saw to cut the old tire off. Bring the new tires to a tire shop if you don't have a cheap tire machine at home.
as you might guess there is a thick metal cable band that follows the tire bead along the rim, need a hacksaw to get through it.
