@jeannetteamos1718 I eventually will. But it stands to reason that Bob most likely got lymphoma from the chemical paint thinner he was always around. Jasmine, my friend thank you for the lovely feedback! But always know that no one is born and artist, however anyone and everyone is capable of learning. I strongly believe that with a little time and practice, you can accomplish any craft and I hope your new interest in painting takes you on an enjoyable journey 👍
Hey thank you so much and that’s a very good question. First step is to make sure you are using a very very thick paint. I personally recommend Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, or Grumbacher just to name a few brands. And in this technique you want to start out with a coat of a very thing white medium to paint everything else on top of. If you need more info on that, I have a video on my playlist which you can check out in the link below. And then after that, it’s just a matter of switching up your layers from thin to thick. Always, remember that a thin paint will stick to a thick paint and you can thin down your paints with solvent or linseed oil. That’s a lot to explain and one day I’ll make a full video on it but for now here’s that link- ua-cam.com/video/Cc2UZYL8Z3w/v-deo.html
My friend, I’m going to recommend you to this link. Now granted it’s a full length painting and not so much of a tutorial, the trees I make in the mid ground are how I do fall colored trees. I know it’s a long video but feel free to just skip to that part lol. Let me know what you think and as always, ask any questions. Thank you! ua-cam.com/video/PcZjHRaBN6w/v-deo.htmlsi=g8cv9O1EWOyArg6T

As a matter of fact, not having any experience is going to be one of the best parts because you enjoy that fresh thrill of getting into something new and exciting. So keep dabbing, and remember to always make sure it’s fun for you. Thanks again! 👍
Thank you. I've been having trouble painting trees. You're a good teacher! You speak slowly and explain well as you demonstrate.
I appreciate the feedback. More tutorials and content to come on the channel. Thank you so much 👍
You. Are. My. Hero. I’ve been trying to follow Bob and I wind up mud mixing.
Thank you so much for this. Liked, subscribed, alarmed.
Appreciate you and the support! Always remember, painting or any other art for that matter is a simple matter of trial and error. Feel free to also share your work, I’d love to see it 👍
I’ve been painting for about a month, and I came across your video… Thank you for the close-up… And going so slow… I really enjoyed the humor also
Hey I appreciate the feedback and thank you! If you ever want your work featured in one of my videos, you can send them via email, IG or fb message. Thanks again and happy painting
Your was so helpful I being 👀 bob Ross painting over and over before I try to paint with him and it never look like his but I keep trying and from when I started im getting better. But I like how you go by every step. I will like to see more of you show how to paint step by step. Because I like panting.
Thank you very much! I have some ideas and plans for tutorials on clouds and mountains which I will film soon. But as long as you’re subscribed, you’ll know right away once they’re uploaded. I’m glad my video can help. If there are any questions you have please don’t hesitate to ask. Happy painting 😊
Thank you very much you’re good teachers
BRAVOOO è un dipinto BELLISSIMO 😊

I'm a beginner... watching you Kenny has helped wonders... thanks pal.
You’re very welcome, buddy! Glad I can help and if there is ever anything I’m not clear on in my tutorials don’t hesitate to leave a comment. Happy paintings to you 🍻
Love it! Your are a great teacher! Thank you.
Thank you so much for saying that, Carol. And please if there is anything I haven’t been clear on or an idea for a tutorial you think you would benefit from, please feel free to suggest 👍
Great tutorial, I’m going to give this a try today. Thanks for the clear directions. I love that you don’t rush through it 😊
Thank you! I hope it helps and please follow up and let me know how you did :)
Lol
Dude......Thank you so much for this!
You’re very welcome so much! I got a follow up to this video using the round brush and I plan on making another very soon 👍
Love it 🤗
Thank you! Have you painted along?
I am going to try I am not the best I'm a beginner your paint are so good 👌
@@MarnoPitout Yeah give it a try. Every artist was once a beginner too and no matter what level any artist advances to, they can never stop learning 👍
Thank you so much I will 🙏🤗😜
You are such an excellent instructor. Thank you, i seen other instructors and they are complicated and you teach so well and clear. Your my number one now.
Thank you so much! And please comment or leave me any question you may still have if I wasn't clear on anything. I appreciate you 😊
@@Kennysgreasypaint hi, do you have videos of any waterfalls? And river rocks.
@@virginiasanchez4614 So I have full length landscape videos to paint along to and in my latest one, I make a small waterfall leading to a flowing river with a few stones which you can find in the link below. As for tutorials, I do plan to make a waterfall and rocks videos sometime soon in the future. So subscribe and stay tuned! Thank you so much and here's the link-

Well thank YOU for the support and kind feedback! Always remember, if I can do it, then it must be easy lol. Happy new year and happy painting to you 🍻
I really enjoy watching your video and explanation. Amazing
Thank you, Ben 🍻 And like I tell everyone, if there’s something I haven’t been clear on or can explain better, please let me know 👍
Thanks bro... you went slow enough for me to follow along... yay
@@stevehuff7020 Thank you for following along. I appreciate you visiting the channel 👍
Just finished it painted along with you ,this is the first completed painting i have done ,usually start out but uthen I practice making trees or mountains etc.
@@jgb5814 That’s great pal! Keep going and keep practicing. It’s the only secret and trick that exists to it. Thank you for following up and letting me know 🍻
Your understanding of real beginners is wonderful. Thankyou so much.❤
THANK YOU! One thing about painting I’ll always remember is that there was a time when I knew none of these things. So I always try to keep that in mind for other beginners and people starting out.
Thanks for this, exactly what I was struggling with
Thank you for checking out the video! A little time and practice is all everyone needs. Remember, if I can do it, so can you 👍
It is so nice to watch a tutorial that doesn't use time lapse. One needs to study those brush movements. Thank you. Bob Ross made thousands of paintings and all of his evergreen trees have upside down branches.
Thank you, Nik. I find it important to take my time when teaching. People seem to learn best when they don’t feel pressured and I’m glad I can deliver that without the use of time lapse like you said.
@@nboldrini I hate time lapses too!
You were great I needed that!!! You made it very simple to follow and it was absolutely beautiful
Karen, thank you so so much! Your feedback is very appreciated . I’m glad the video still holds up and can help artists just like you. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family 😊
Loved this video! I was cracking up with the little snippets you put in there.
Thank you, Cynthia. As long as I can pass the art knowledge along, I feel like I’ve sent my message. But if I can get a laugh out of anyone while doing it, that’s a bonus for me 😊
Awesome video Kenny G! You may have the Ross instructors best
Those are big shoes to fill so I appreciate you saying that and thank you for stopping by the channel :)
It’s so beautiful 😍
Did this painting twice..I'm practicing. Again thank you for your videos.they are helping me so much.
Very nice video .Specially for beginner like me who can be sure that he can paint.
Thanks friend. And if I can do it, so can you. So get busy painting 👍
Muy buena tecnica me gusta mucho quiere mucha practica saludos desde el pulgarcito de America El Salvador,Manolo Paez.
Much as gracias. Practicar es el unico secreto para see bueno. Pero recuerda, si yo puedo hacerlo, tu tambien puedes. Agradezco tus comentarios.

Excellent tutorial!!
Thank you! And thank you so much for subscribing 😊
You make it look easy, it's not. Great job.
Thanks! Always remember, practice makes perfect but it also makes easy. 🍻
I haven’t been painting as much since my Mom passed away on Jan 1st this year but you made me realize what I been missing so thank you plus Dude I just found your channel and I love it your tutorial in this video it is as broken down to the point as it can get and for someone like me who wants to know all these little things I’m super stoked to pick up my brush again ... Once again thank you ... GOD BLESS !!!
My condolences for your loss, pal. I would say to keep painting. Your mother would probably want you to keep it up. Did she paint too? I have some ideas for some other tutorials to come out so keep your eyes open for those. In any case, thank you so much for the support.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge for teaching us how to do painting, Could please mention what colour did use or how to mix colour to get the desired colour? Much appreciated 🙏 ❤
@@faridehassadi9755 Thank you for your question and for taking the time to check out the video. As for the colors, you can see them on the screen at the beginning of the video starting @0:35 which are also listed in the description. I hope this answers your question and if you're still not clear on the process please leave another comment. I appreciate you and all your feedback 😊
Can I use acrylic? That's what I'm most comfortable with. I want to learn the techniques, then put them into use, from my imagination.
I think I can thin out acrylic with water.
Great stuff mate.loved it.Im learning a lot from your shows plus your cool dude . greetings from Barbados
Hey thanks man! Much appreciated. Just a heads up, if you or anyone reading this comment wants to send in a picture of your work, I would be more than happy to feature it and give a shout out in one of my future vids. Either way, it’s always great to keep learning but remember too to always have fun! So keep up the good work and let’s paint together.
P.S. -I always wanted to visit Barbados, it looks beautiful there and must have great scenery for painting inspiration.
Very basic oil painting to follow instructions. Sometimes we take it for granted as we all rush to paint however your disciplinary smooth easy taking is realistic and fun to watch. Excellent hand coordination. Bravo Zulu buddy.
Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback. I like keeping things simple, especially for any beginners out there.
Kenny - I really appreciated your style and your humility in teaching. You taught me a great deal in a very short amount of time. Thank you so much I look forward to future videos from you.
@@laurieaaron6389 Thank you, Laurie! You keep learning, and I’ll keep teaching lol. But I’m very glad to hear you’re getting something out of the channel and I appreciate you. 😊
.
Trying this you seem easy to follow & need that patience. Always painted ,sketched Birds before really just started other things landscapes & now trees you make it all seem easy & fun makes you the perfect art teacher sir!
Thank you so much. I can’t imagine sketching birds though. I feel like if one can do that, they can definitely paint trees lol. I appreciate the feedback. Happy new year 😊
Oh MY GOODNESS!! I'm a newbie! I haven't tried to paint with oil yet but have everything except for a couple paints I am waiting on in the mail. I've watched so many videos and yours is the only one I have been able to really get a handle on what to do concerning the wet on wet. I think you answered about 10 questions I have been asking and looking for answers on and I haven't even finished your video yet. THANK YOU!!! Being able to see what you are doing along with you explaining it is golden. I've been anxious about starting because I had so many questions. You really should teach if you don't. I love the humor you threw in as well. Takes that edge off!
Thank you so much, Lisa! I appreciate you checking out the link from Facebook. I’m very excited for you to get your supplies in the mail. Remember that painting is a journey and you should enjoy every learning curve. I do plan to teach in person eventually in future. And the humor in the videos are just a little bonus to make the experience and follow along more fun because that’s what it should be about. If you have any further questions during your journey with painting please don’t hesitate to answer. I have plenty more tutorials and lessons that I plan to release in the future so stay subscribed and let’s paint together 😊
Beautiful
Great lesson many thanks going g to try this 👍 👌
You’re very welcome, good sir. Happy painting to you and let me know how you did or if you have any questions I wasn’t clear on 👍
@@Kennysgreasypaint loved your video and enjoyed trying the painting many thanks again
I love your approach to explaining details of the techniques. I do not see on other tutorials. I wish to see more.
Thanks man! These are simply the same questions I’m answering when I was learning. The next tutorials I plan to put out will be how to do clouds and then those mountains. So keep subscribed 👍
You are the wonderful artist. I love your way of explanation which is very helpful. I am not a born artist, but I am very much interest in painting. Thank u sir
Jasmine, my friend thank you for the lovely feedback! But always know that no one is born and artist, however anyone and everyone is capable of learning. I strongly believe that with a little time and practice, you can accomplish any craft and I hope your new interest in painting takes you on an enjoyable journey 👍
Very nice friend, please suggest me how to paint in oil like these with layers. If i paint immediately it is getting mixed up.
That’s a lot to explain and one day I’ll make a full video on it but for now here’s that link-

Kenny can you do a painting of fall colour trees...I'm having a hard time doing them... thanks.
Thank you!
