- In this video I repair the rear door of our 5 x 10 enclosed cargo trailer. The damage is much worse than I expected, so I end up rebuilding the bottom quarter or so of the structure of the door.

You used so many hacks that made your job a genius work. I learned several tricks from you today. Looking forward to doing my own build.
Did a good job and got a few old materials taking up room in the garage out of the way. Thumbs up!
Just what I needed to see. Youre gonna save me a lot of brain cells. thank you.
Can you repair mine in Phoenix?! Ha! Nice work!
Impressive, great job. Very handy.
Great Job Guy!!!
Bryan you did a very nice job.
I don’t “hate on this”. But lost 4 fingers due to table saw having no cover. Just the. Sound of the table saw causes some anxiety. When I trained on that machine I was told there were no covers for the blade🫢. Three fingers replaced but now I am much more conscious of what I use
Nice job!!! I just purchased a trailer with very similar issues.
Wish I had done it this way. My dad and I made the decision to rebuild the whole door and it turned out to be a mess. Now here I am about to sell the trailer and have to redo the door again due to poor sizing of the foam
Genius idea thanks!
Good repair
Hi Bryan, like the channel. I need to do the exact repair. I was wondering why you didn't use the pocket screw jig on the first brace too, rather the notching?
I wanted to give it a little extra support and keep it straight.
I'm having same problem ATM water from bottom of door wicking up
Wonder if you could just use a piece of advantech, to make a solid door
I like the 420 sticker👍😎
You did great job on that door. Do you remember what size Torx screws to get those hinges off..
They are a T45
@@bryansprojects3570 thank you for getting back to me really appreciate it very much.
Also silicone all trim to panel joints
I would have just put the door back into the opening, close the latch, and then attach the hinges so that it is exactly where it wants to sit.
Block o wood to tap the aluminum frame will save a headache with wheater sripping
How thick is that diamond plate
I think it is 1/8" or 0.125".
@@bryansprojects3570 that’s a good size . Them diamond plate are expensive
Is that a South GA Cargo trailer?
Yes it is.
@@bryansprojects3570 I’ve had my fair amount of issues with my trailer from them. To use the warranty, South GA Cargo want you to drive it to their manufacturing facility in Pearson, GA; even though I purchased purchased the trailer in NC.
Wouldn't biscuit joints worked better?
I wanted to give it more glue area and try to keep it straighter.
