I have watched 100's of them too, and this is one of the best. I have come to the conclusion that the #1 requirement I would have is a hydraulic bed. A Murphy style bed would be my 2nd choice. It's really surprising to me how hard it is to find a cargo trailer conversion that I like compared to finding camper van conversions that I like.
Bingo! A 20L (5 Gallon) Sea to Summit Collapsible Kitchen Sink and a KEDSUM Portable Camp Shower would hide away perfectly. I use it with a 5 gallon bucket and the sink for more sink like things as the summit sink is wider so it would get shallow sooner and so run out of water flow faster but it would still work well! With the sprayer instead of the shower head I only use about 3 gallons anyway because it's not constantly pumping.
I'm just 21 minutes into this video and had to post my sentiments about a couple of things. 1. Those bed-to-couch brackets! wow. WANT. 2. Cargo-to-camper trailer conversions are so danged cool. As you know I'm in the middle of doing one myself and seeing stuff like this continues to motivate me. Thanks Rick, Linda and Anthony! Now, back to the vid.
Anthony you did an awesome job and I am sure a lot of great ideas will be copied! Thanks for sharing and thank you Rick and Linda for posting this fantastic build!
I just special ordered a new 6x12 x 6.6 (height) Wells Cargo single axle cargo trailer today. This video has some good ideas for my build. Thanks for posting.
Outside was very nice. I want to make that table also. The inside seems to have a lot of I'm gonta going on. Hope we can see it again when he is finished.
Wow, Anthony, fantastic fabrication of the brackets and especially the ladder. You ended up with a far superior components that what you would have purchased. Managed to design a lot of living space and cargo space out of a 6×12, perfect.
Time...1500-1507, I was thinking the same thing! She's already upgrading your trailer! Good luck with that!😂🤣😂 Whoa, when that smaller portion of the bed FLIPPED to a sofa back, my mouth dropped. Brilliant innovation with the build, I would love to see a tour when it is finished!
Wow, this is one of the best build outs I have ever seen. Where did he find those beds? He has really put in a lot of convenience and safety items. But best of all was Linda, I could hear the wheels turning. At this point Rick you can only pray that your daughters don't see this video too.
Not just a great camper also a great guy. I want some day to enjoy a full time life style and freedom but meeting folks like y'all, being neighbors for a moment is what I look forward to the most. Take Care and Safe Travels.
Wow, this fellow really thought things through! Really really impressive. Of course we all know that by now you two are talking about what you are going to use from this. That air conditioner would be top of my list but then I don't like the heat. Anyway, this was so interesting. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm in the process of converting a 6x14, just about finished with insulation. Where was Anthony when I was DIYing my van interior? His trailer is filled with awesome innovations. He could start a new career in building these toy haulers. That is my goal to add a toy hauler to my van. I plan to pick up a small 4X4 ATV or UTV. I have a GMC Savana 2500 with the Vortec V8 and my gas mileage averages between 12 and 13mpg. Adding a trailer will surely impact my fuel mileage. It's the price you pay to have fun.
Those Florida rainstorms will be soothing in this setup. We just got back from a camping trip in our 6x10 cargo trailer. Cozy and a great way to escape the Florida heat.
Wow..very cool rig ! You & Anthony gave a great tour..very detailed 👍 I really like that bed/couch..if I do another build or update mine I'd definitely go that way ! Yep Rick.. you're gonna be busy..lol.

Great cargo trailer ,but it looks like u are going to be busy when u get back to Montana thank you for posting, glad to have you back we missed you folks!
Good build with a great deal of thought behind it. Now Rick you must realize the wheels are now turning with Linda, this might have been an expensive visit.
Nice set up if you are going to stay on black top. When i did mine i made a complete plan before i started. So everything was hidden behind the insulated walls and ceiling. Mine is also winter ready. with heater in door bath room, 2 burner cook stove as well. And i still use this as a cargo trailer and for ice fishing. Yes i take it on the ice and fish from the inside so i don't have to freeze my but off lol.
Really slick rig! He could easily solve his rain in a/c exhaust problem by removing the hatch and placing a piece of window screen between the trailer and hatch as he reinstalls it.

The big question for us budget builders is how much $? Given one has the time the money and the tools one can get as cute as they want when building out these cargo trailers.
Even on a budget it can get expensive! I’m at about $20k on mine. It’s a 7x16, double axle. That total includes the trailer as well. You have to keep in mind that it’s built in most cases better than a traditional camper and it’s built and customised by yourself. I finished mine last August and I’m going to post a walk through video once I complete the solar panels.
Very nice trailer build! Lots of creative ideas. Only one very serious situation however I noticed right away. Too many distracted drivers out there whom aren’t paying attention to the objects in front of them will easily hit the explosive dangers of your low mounted propane and extra gasoline tanks. You have a trailer that would burst into a huge fire or explosion once someone hits you from a side impact. I would seriously consider moving those tanks up higher out of the direct impact zone. Certain autos already have experienced these serious fires or explosions over the years (think Ford Pinto, older designs of trucks and cars where fuel tanks got moved in between frame rails after many deaths took place). Otherwise, cool trailer build!
on the outside its great but why all the obstruction on the side , a few is ok, but the side mounted units is a blocker of wind when traveling? the ladder is strong to hold someone heavy but its heavy in weight, and it extends higher then the roof ? he could put a handle on the top to hold on to when climbing down. i dont like to tank location due to the fact that the tank frame is an obstruction in bottoming out, think the frame is below the axle? , the axle is the lowest point of the trailer, he could have gotton flat pan tanks for the black and grey to tuck up in the frame making more room under the trailer. other then that it looks good, /

That in floor storage would be a great way to put in a shower that you could hide away when not in use
Bingo! A 20L (5 Gallon) Sea to Summit Collapsible Kitchen Sink and a KEDSUM Portable Camp Shower would hide away perfectly.
