Trailer City! Yea, we’re happy to find something we didn’t think we had that we think will work, then say “ahhhh” and have to adjust it to make it work! Nice repair though! Hope very little water gets in there before high enough temps to put silicone on! Thanks for sharing.
Yeah...lol. It's starting to look like a dealership around here. Two trailers and 4 vehicles. Of all things, we had an 80 degree day today but I didn't have the time to get out there and seal it up. Hopefully another good day will come soon! Take care, G.
Thanks G! Some days you are the hammer and some days the anvil, but you got it done...a well fought battle! Talk about cutting corners, surprise by the mishmash of wood pieces in the original construction...guess they thought no one would notice on a well known brand.
Thanks PJ! No doubt! As you know, I've posted videos on building the engine and the transmission- both of which are still working fine. Those types of things were running through my mind when something as simple as this door kicked me all over the block.....lol. Yeah, I guess it was a good use of scraps- but does seem chintzy for them to do it that way. Don't know if my other door is the same way- and hope to never find out! Take care, G.
Wow G, it's been way too long since I have seen a video from you. I so much enjoy your vids. Great fix on the door, and you have made it better than it was. Take care.
It's been on for over a yr. now- but you're still not here. I'm really getting tired of paying the bill. I guess it's going off in 3-2-...............Take care, G.
On the pre-existing door, do they treat the wood before it's clad? I suppose marine grade wood would add too much to the cost of manufacturer but it would be a treat. Nice to hear from you. You need to start a project like "home automation" where we could follow you along learning enough to be able to do our own. Daughter and son-in-law gave me a Echo Dot at Christmas and other than turning a table lamp on/off and setting some verbal reminders, I'm looking for a inexpensive way to turn room lights on/off, monitor entry doors as well as garage doors. Just a thought G don't know if you're into that stuff.
Not that I could tell Hank. It looked like plain ply that was undercoated on one side. I'm not that into home automation, so probably won't be doing anything like that. The surveillance camera setup is about the extent of anything I would do. Take care, G.

No doubt Larry! Been super busy but not getting much done...lol. Thanks, G.
Nice video. Decent repair job. You do have patience!
Thanks! LOL. I do now, but it's been a long road to acquire it. Take care, G.
Thanks for the video. But say, there's only one question remaining...once you're all done, are you still gonna 'leave the light on for us'? lol!
