Took me a while to realised the reason why you use the colour purple to remus is because thats the colour used by roman emperor
It was also the signature color of the Eastern Roman Empire following the downfall of the Western Roman Empire.

I say if Mondstadt and Fontaine were to combine we'll have the Genshin version of the Holy Roman Empire
Genshin's lore is cyclical, always with a hint of wanting to defy fate in its underlying theme
This is honestly the best Remuria lore video ive ever seen!
20:45 I know it is natural to want all of these quests voiced but please take into consideration that Paimon is always with us so her VA would need to work overtime everyday to complete them.
Paimon already has more than triple or quaduple of 2nd VA with most lines. It is just impossible to voice several world quests in 6 week cycles.
The last harmost is Aurelius , he was betrayed by barbarians and lost in the sea
The name can be found on the note in the Faded Castle: "Investigation of the Northern Barbarians".
It reminds me of Aurelian the famed Roman Emperor who saved the Roman Empire from the Crisis of the 3rd Century who was unfortunately betrayed in the end by getting stabbed to death by his own soldiers.
Still exploring fountain and there is so much lore in every corner, idk why ppl complain there is no content in genshin. At this point lore weight catch up to behemoths like TES series
i really enjoyed this world quest ... one might say it should have been a bit longer lool ...i hope they keep the momentum and do more great world quest in the future

i really enjoyed playing through Remuria and seeing it all together like was a real treat, since i played it over the span of a few days. i also agree, my only real complaint is that they don't add voice lines in theses stories/lore but oh well we can hope they add them later but they probably won't.

You forgot to mention that Egeria was released by Celestia from her prison after the sinking of Remuria. And for that, give her the last clap. 🎉🎉🎉 she knew whats gonna happen once she gave that chalice of primordial water. She killed 2 birds in one stone. 1: It would eliminate a genocidal race that could jeopardize the whole teyvat and 2: she knew celestial would set her free to rule the over the chaos and the flooding primordial waters.
Also another point not mentioned, the barbarians they were referring to were the dragonheirs/dragonkinds and the remurians hate them so much as a race becauzs these beasts tribes are not affected by the "rupture" of the primordial waters.
Addendum: of course the last bit was just my own inference, based on irl social constructs.

I think you forgot about something, in the book of hamost note.. Khaenriah were mentioned as 'Barbarian' whom using mechanical thing to defeat the monster when they sail.. I forgot the detail but I think it's related to khaenriah

Another masterpiece explanation by KlemenTime. Helped me discover some parts of the Remurian lore I missed even after I finished the whole quests (I don't read book and arte though so I'd never grasp the full story HAHA) and your video always helped.

I found it ironic that in Greek Mythology, Phobos is the God of Fear and Panic and if we add Harmony or, Harmonia, Goddes of Harmony, both are the children of War, aka Ares. Both are also the children of both Ares and Aphrotide, Goddess of Love.

19:48 I didn't notice it'd switch to the traveler at that point because I already had him in my team (I use Aether). Also, I use the geo traveler, and the quest had me use geo traveler instead of switching him to hydro.
Oh I thought it would switch to hydro traveler by default. I haven’t really used traveler in a long time so it was easy for me to spot the change
@@KlemenTime Usually they switch to trial characters when yours is not built enough.
It feel like I watch an actual history channel.
Thanks for the video. I have a hard time following the story of the quest line as they present it in a very convoluted way.
BTW, Rumeria location music is so etherial. It always makes me sad, happy and emotional at the same time. It's one the best music in the game, imo.

The Remuria quest was so good. Ever since Fontaine came to be, and ir started to bestow us morsels of Remuria lore, to finally getting the whole picture. One of the best lore of the game.
I find it funny how Boethius says how the "barbarians" killed their brethren, but is in retaliation towards Remus tyrannical rude and invasion over the tribes. How arrogant and pitiful were the Remurians. Colonizer mentality.
