Kaveh's story IS very sad! But luckily at the end of Parade of Providence, he finally got some closure on some certain issues... As sad as his decisions can seem, they also tell the story of perseverance and steadfast belief in idealism. Nahida also says his perception of Sumeru as the nation of wisdom is the closest one to the truth, which is very remarkable. And somehow, in spite of it all, he himself will almost always make decisions based on what he believes to be right - not just because of his guilt, but because he believes in humanity and its potential for good and greatness. I main him because of how very human his story is. There's something or other in his story or character that I think most people can find to relate to. So yeah, thank you for this video, I enjoyed it a lot!!
I remember how excited everyone was back when the message board bickering between Kaveh and Alhaitham dropped, it feels like yesterday when we were impatiently waiting for lore/design crumbs. Kaveh has always been a favourite of mine, and you did a great job summarizing his backstory/motivations/personality. Thanks for the great video!
I would had almost taken the video as complete had you not forgotten other events in kaveh life, the house they earn by both yes, but alhaitham thought it was only fair that Kaveh gets his share despite the fact that Kaveh relinquish his half to him. But given that still his old friend, and the only reason kaveh does chores is because he doesn't want to be a freeloader, and he doesn't believe alhaitham generosity. (Alhaitham having to actually reflect and change since their student days as he ADMITS to you the traveler there is no longer "who is right or wrong" in the situation.) Also 3.6 event, we see that Kaveh GETS a forecourse of his father death. Alhaitham finds out the real reason he dies, and in his own way offers to help him find the truth. Closing that chapter in kaveh life because after that he seems to be relaxed and even says to Alhaitham "thanks." in a way mending their friendship. So fyi.
Kaveh reminds me of my boyfriend. He’s literally one the nicest guys I’ve ever met but some truly horrible things have happened to him and yet he’s still such a sweetheart and tries to help people even if he himself isn’t okay
Tysm for this video! I am glad I found this, I am very late to Sumeru and this video was of help because I am really interested in his character. I believe he's such a relatable character and you explained him pretty well. Keep up the great work! 💞
8:03 I'm not sure if he had enough Mora for this 70%. From what I understand he got a loan to get to that sum. I don't understand from where this "Dori requested 30%" came from. D:
@@SlickSF You are doing a good job! I'm pointing this out only because my favourite character is Dori and I'm tired of her mischaracterization. The amount of the hate she gets is unreasonable. She has some interesting lore and she isn't a scammer. Eh. If you ever plan on making video about her - I can help, hehe.
@@SlickSF She has some interesting lore! :D And once you start understanding her, her whole character changes, hehe. I'll be happy to help if you need it! ^^
I really appreciate that! I'm excited to learn more about her soon, that sounds so cool! It'll be interesting to see the story with Kaveh from her perspective, as well as Alhaitham's later on, and even more about what she does. Once I'm able to read through her character story, I'll definitely work on that!
Thank you for this! I feel like most people have forgotten about him being a character with so much lore behind him
For sure, he has such an interesting story and so much lore. Thank you for watching!
