I REALLY want to see you do a one day washday or product review of Amika products. We have similar hair types and I can’t find any creators I trust that have reviewed their lines! I want to try them bc I love that they sell refill bags…
I love this routine because anybody could do it. I feel Brush styling does create an unnatural patterns in my opinion. I also love the soft curls you got and the minimal effort it took. This routine also ensures less build up. I also do a similar routine with just one product. And that innersense foam is pretty moisturising that you need a leave-in or curl cream underneath it.
I think this is your best result yet! Your curls look effortless and you have great volume! And I love the length now that it’s grown out a bit. It’s making me want to cut my hair back into a long bob! ❤
Love the revisiting of old videos - esp as someone who has literally just in the past month begun to suspect my hair is not just frizzy but might be wavy, and totally new to styling my hair - it’s great to watch you critique your old videos, opinions, and techniques.
Absolutely love this! I didn't brush style until I got that Bounce Curl Defining Brush and that was the game changer for me! I get much less frizz so much more volume! I may have to try some foam though just to see if I get just as good results!
This was wonderful. I tried the method this morning and think this will be my go-to from now on. Fast and simple. Better result with natural curl clumps. But one question. Why no product on the roots?
I like the volume in your hair with this technique. Ii do an in between. I'm too lazy for sectioning and styling. I brush through but just sort of haphazardly going around my head and I do get more definition even then. But I think I may try this again as it's all I ever used to do and I love volume. Maybe just a section on each side in the front where it wants to droop. I am a refresh gal so I always wear mine down. Quick spray with water and sometimes a little product and scrunch. Many days it's better than day one. I go 5 days.
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney not really, I get a headache with my hair up and I'm alot older than you and my saggy neck shows more with it up. I'm not vain, 😂. My curly 37 yr old daughter with little ones also throws hers up every day.. Btw, I have a member acct now with the Christian company you get your shirts from. Wow! Love them! And lots are going out for Christmas. Thanks! ❤️
Thank you for the reminder about big life events changing hair. I'm pregnant with number 2 and haven't yet noticed a bunch of changes but I remember how hard the postpartum hair loss was with my first and that was before being this intentional with my curls. I'm curious how this go-around will feel compared to the last but need to remember to have extra patience if my hair doesn't do what I expect on wash day.
I’ve never used a brush and I have fine wavy hair finer and less curly than yours. For me brushing produces frizz I wash and condition and squish upside down and it comes out great. I also don’t diffuse either although I get more volume when I do diffuse.
This is so near my go-to short and sweet routine it's crazy! I use 8 pumps of Dippity Do foam and 4 pumps Innersense I Create Lift. I simply brush my hair (upright) away from my face, scrunch upside down product-free to start the shape, then scrunch in the foams thoroughly. No other manipulation required. It air dries or diffuses super fast and is soft, voluminous and defined. Dippity Do is moisturizing and Innersense adds the hold. Game changer! Love your videos 💕
I wonder if there's a way to marry this routine with what you normally do now. Like possibly using a brush to encourage your hair to not sit in your face all day as well as creating cleaner/more defined parts but keeping the one styler, application technique, and diffusing (since it's essentially what you've been doing)
Hi Miss Courtney! Loved this video as usual. Your hair looked beautiful. Have you ever tried the milkshake hair products? I have only tried one and it’s a refresher, but it is amazing. Just curious if you have used it, and if you have, what are your thoughts?
I never brush style, and I often do the application thing with padding. Kind of rake product through with my fingers first and then pat it upwards 🤷♀️ My curls don’t turn out uniform, some are perfect ringlets, some are wavyer, but I’m fine with that
Why would she need it, any product she applied is going to lend heat protection and then she diffuses it so there should be hardly any direct heat at all
Iv wondered about the heat protectant too. Some influences say you should still use a heat protectant, not to believe there is enough heat protectant in these products. Who do you believe, help?
I try in the the lest wash day style my hair without any brush styling, and in the one hand i like it, but in the other hand like in your video i got less precise part.
Hi, Miss Courtney! I enjoyed watching your video! Your curls are so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing with us! I am looking forward seeing more of your curly videos! #CurlyHairVibes💕
So funny! I've had 3 kids and my hair got more wavy after each kid. Growing up my hair was mostly type 1-2A, now I've got mostly 2b-2c waves. It also went from very fine to medium/some coarse. Hormones are wild. My youngest is 4 and it hasn't reverted back to straight yet.
Courtney: literally does anything and her hair looks amazing

Glad this helped!
Amazing how hair can change! I am still working in the transition stage and love watching your videos!
This is the short version? Wow! Is there an even shorter version that still gets us great results without frizz?
Absolutely love this! I didn't brush style until I got that Bounce Curl Defining Brush and that was the game changer for me! I get much less frizz so much more volume!

Love that the brush is working so well for you!!! Yay! Let me know how it goes with the foam!
Absolutely love the look of this quick routine 😍
Glad you liked it!!

some days hair looks great, some days I put it up right after fixing it bc it looks lousy.😮
Same!!!

Love it! And thank you!
That’s a really interesting technique! Do you do this on damp hair or do you brush and apply products right after rinsing out the conditioner?
Is this still your routine??? And, your PDF guide recommends a leave in conditioner. When would you apply this, and would you brush it through?

I never see you use a heat protector are you skipping it or just not filming that part?

Hey Courtney there's a typo on your main UA-cam page it says if want to shop instead of if you want to shop...😅

Interesting!
But in the way i see in the Instagram.

Gorgeous! 👏
Awe, thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you so much!
You should do brush styling but everything else shouldn't change.
Ooooo interesting idea!
