'The Masterplan' is the title track of 'Oasis’ iconic B-sides album ‘The Masterplan’.
25 years since the original release, November 3rd will see the release of limited-edition collector’s formats to celebrate the silver anniversary of Oasis’ iconic album ‘The Masterplan’. Formats available include CD, cream cassette and limited-edition double vinyl formats (heavyweight silver, green and black marble and black LPs). The new formats feature remastered audio, taken from the ‘Chasing The Sun’ reissues - available for the first time as one collection.

The harmonica earned it's dinner that night
Probably the best harmonica player the UK ever produced.
This song was already one of their best but the addition of the harmonica makes it a masterpiece.
Mark Felton doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. These gigs were a disaster as Liam was drunk hence you only see Noel and his songs. Mark said in interviews he never really met Liam and Noel, he’d turn up and play and was left out of the VIP areas. A humble man

I completely agree, I photographed an Oasis tribute band Mad Ferritt last weekend at Curraghmore Estate, they were great but The Masterplan stood out......

I was 11 in 1996.
In Italy Radio Deejay broadcasted the show live.
I recorded the whole set on a cassette tape.
I didn’t know much about music at that time.
But while I was listening to Mark Feltham’s harmonica I knew that it was something special.
This song is so underrated.

Seeing Noel perform this live in a small venue (Cleveland House of Blues in Ohio, USA) was one of my favorite concert moments of all time. So was meeting Noel before this show and seeing him joke around with fans as he signed stuff.

You can already see in Noel the realisation that he's a great singer, a frontman in his own right, the slower more contemplative songs in the bands catalogue he knew he should be singing, Liams great at the Rock n roll stuff, Noel way better at the ballads and sing a long tunes.
