Insururance can be high if you have financed your motorcycle. I didn't finance mine and it only costs $67 a year. Mind you, it's only a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 250. As a newish rider (2.5 years now), I'm happy with that lol.

I live in Asia so sportsbike are seen as either something very cool and rare or just something expensive to waste money.People that know nothing about these bikes always say "they are expensive and have no value" but the price is much cheaper than some daily driver.For example the Ninja H2R is the fastest bike in the world but is only 55000 if in the US which is cheaper than most cars.
I adore sportsbikes and love my current H2 and maybe will go after xz25r next

same I have to pay up to 3k a year because of my age for now, once you complete a year and pay off your bike it lowers down to barely 1k and even less every year, I messed around with it and after 3 years its up to 400 a year which is still pretty high but were a “high risk” im with geico btw

i got cortech turret waterproof boots for 90 bucks at my cycle shop.. they work great.. no need to spend top dollar on certain items.. 3 helmets... hjc f70 for 269.. and ls2 challenger on sale for a whopping 159 bucks. reg price was 329.. saw that and grabbed second helmet just cause.. :P .also at second hand store i got a shoei.. xxl troy lee dragon design in pristine condition outside.. the liner was kinda shot but nothing a beenie wont fix.. paid 25 buck for that :P :P ... ... btw got my jacket at second hand store 6 whole dollars tour master intake 3.. with liner.. lol. what a steal.. paid 5k for 2017 cbr500r 2k miles... also "hwk" riding pants on amazon for 80 bucks.. plus 40 for gloves.. and my insurance is 276 for the whole year.. 12 bucks to fill tank get 250 miler per tank.. avg 60+ mpg.. all in all best thing i ever did was get this bike.. i got the troy lee helmet and tour master jacket 3 yrs before i even contemplated getting a bike :P :P :P :P...

Got my 2018 ninja 400 ABS with 2800 miles for 4100$ and it's mint, came with frame sliders, slip on, rearsets, adjustable levers and more. Yeah, I kind of stole it for that price. I can't even find a single small scratch on it. My insurance is like 20 a month I'm 27 with no record except one small accident in my life

The Ninja was a childhood dream of mine since my neighbors had 2, finally got my license after a lot of convincing my parents, then my dad hit me with a "no sports bike". Now I'm looking at a Honda Rebel 500 with the Ninjas still in my mind. So difficult as the oldest daughter in an Asian household, I'm sure many have struggled as well 😭

how far will a full gas tank get you on the ninja 400? In miles if you can tell me.
i get about 150 miles but i drive full throttle everywhere and cruse the highways at no less then 85mph mostly cruse at 100mph. just did a 460 mile trip and filled up 4 times because i haul ass and dont let my fuel get below 1/4 tank spent a total of $48 in fuel paying about $4.99 a gallon. I normally stop every 150 miles to stretch, eat, drink, and fuel. so the tank is 3 gallons to empty averaging 48mpg but driving easy you get 68mpg easy so you could get 200 miles a tank.

Im 5'5" at 160lbs and I'm perfect on it now my dad is 6'3" and he's around 380lbs, so he basically makes it look like a mini bike which is hilarious lmao. He recommends to do something bigger and so does my 2 uncles who are around his height but around 250-320lbs. Basically for them second gear feels kinda slow in a sense they know the bike wants to go but can't put out more, whereas as I'm a fucking feather and if she wants to go then we're both gone! Lols. But I love it my 2018 ninja 400 and abs is a perfect bonus.

Don’t know too much about KTM’s but I love my 400! I’d watch reviews on each bike and decide from there.
The ninja is going to be alot more reliable and the transmission is better on the ninja 400.

Is the N400 more forgiving to a beginner than the R3?
I mean i’ve never ridden an r3 before but the 400 only has 100 more cc’s. There both low cc bikes so you’ll be comfortable on either one.

A roundabout is a good place to practice you need knee sliders to and your elbows depending on your abilities , but a roundabout was perfect for me feels better going slow than quick (real feel of your bike) when you get to the mountain sections it becomes muscle memory at 3 digit speed, you call them canyons I just remembered lol , that's 1 trick I used and still do when I'm just messing around, and be careful of the Weather obviously you don't want to lead the group but you don't want to be at the back when the weather changes your blind and it gets dangerous hahaha rideordie ✌️
And the camera I'd just fuck it off it's a distraction I can't ride with lol or my twin, but the police too, if they get hold of it your fucked in a bigger way 😆 I never use them, but you are doing nothing wrong helping others, when you move up this will make sense lol camera is a killer.

I went to “motorcycle riding center” … it’s in west orange,nj… you can go but your parent or guardian has to sign you in , or you can wait until you turn 18 …
