I am 85 and joined keto a year ago. Since then I have been visiting a gym twice a week. And yes, my muscles are bigger and stronger and my lifting prowess has almost doubled. So, never give up!
I'm 71 and split all our own firewood (we heat all winter with wood). Hubby and I retrieved over 6,000 lbs this past weekend and this afternoon I split over 1,000 lbs. Thank you carnivore for our strength, stamina and excellent health.
I’m 75 and that’s why I’m interested in the Carnivore diet.. I was vegetarian for over 35 years and my energy level was so low…I have been doing carnivore with Greek plain yogurt for 6 weeks and already my energy level is so much better..
When I told my oncologist I was a carnivore he hid his disgust behind his N99 mask. After 2 years of therapeutic ketosis in conjunction with chemotherapy as a carnivore I am resolved of stage 3 metastasized endometrial cancer. Now he hides his glee behind his mask. He still will not acknowledge the health benefits of a carnivore diet. Thank you Prof Thomas Seyfried.
Thank you for your story. Especially about chemotherapy. How carnivore helped. I've recently been diagnosed with CMML. that's caused by chemotherapy I had 8 years ago. Today is day 88 on carnivore WOE You gave me hope. That's what I needed today.
That’s a great price. Here in the Northeast I pay double that price for grass finished ground beef from a farm. I don’t have a big freezer to accommodate a half or full cow. Still worth it.
The only farm I could find sells only boutique beef, those breeds of cattle that are sold at a premium, like wagyu. It makes sense for their profitability, but not a good value for people on a budget.
I'm 69, carnivore 3 years, run up our staircase at home two at a time, play on the playground equipment & play tag with our tween grandkids, always run up any stairs, even escalators, boogie board in the ocean in the summer with the grandkids, love sprinting, etc. At my highschool weight of 135, 5'9", size 6, more energy than I know what to do with. Thank you Dr Berry, and Neisha!! 🥩🧈🥓🥚💪❤️
@@Ladynipchick2 well, it took me a year to lose the weight. I also intermittent fast. Eat lunch and dinner only. Fasting will help get rid of those damaged cells because you're in autophagy. Don't give up. Keep watching Dr Berry's videos. I never miss his Monday night live videos. So good. ❤️
I'm 53 and recovering from two horrible hospital admissions in May. When I came out of ICU I couldn't even stand upright without assistance. Was so many times I felt weak and helpless was not even strong enough to sit upright to hold my head up. Felt like a baby still learning to walk and at times like a new born baby couldn't even hold my head up. Now I can walk without my walking frame.
Being in an ICU ward was very scary for my family but at the time while I was there it meant nothing to me because I was in status epelepticus totally unconscious. Apparently I am lucky to be alive. Doctors thought that if was ever to be conscious again my brain would be in the state of a vegetable. I didn't prove them wrong. God did.
Ive had rheumatoid arthritis since 2011 and it progressively became worse, i lost my job in 2018 after 23 years. In the December of 2023 i was diagnosed with a fibro liver score of 22 ( compensated liver cirrhosis) at that stage i was 122kg 5,8" tall. Well ive completely changed my diet ,im on low carb keto and my liver readings have come way down, im not saying ive cured my cirrhosis but my quality of what ever life ive got left is now worth living. Dont give up ( i know its easy to say) but you're worth it. May Gods grace be with all of you.
You give me hope as I read this today. Thanks for sharing your story as I'm on a similar path. Diagnosed with RA since 2014, Type 2 diabetes followed within months on prednisone. Since then, I've lived with constant pain, swollen joints, hypertension, tachycardia, kidney cysts, thyroid nodules, severe periodontitis with bone and tooth loss and most recently, NAFLD. Fibroscan scheduled next month. So true we must change our lifestyle and become more focused on healing and hope. For me, years of keto, ketovore and attempts at carnivore have helped greatly, so staying the course with the PHD (thanks, Dr. Berry)!
Continued improved health to you all. As my own family has had many of the issues mentioned here, I only wish I had known about the proper human diet then.
After my stint in the hospital I asked my doctor about the ketogenic diet and she shot that down in a heartbeat. She said to eat less meat and more vegetables and fruits. I knew I couldn't trust her about my health.
same, my doctor cant even bother hiding his distaste for me now. I despise having to go see him but sometime I have no choice. Where I live its hard to get a doctor and also there is a province wide DB that shows me as having a doctor therefor I am literally unable to go looking for another. One day I will have to tell my doc we need to part ways so that I can be flagged in the DB as 'without' then try to find a doctor who isnt arrogant and closed minded.
Hell ya! I 59 and jacked . I am a ketovoure , a marshal artist . Shattered my femur skiing in NH in a double diamond slope . Don’t do that! Long recovery, never the same but still fit, I stretch and lift. Gotta start sprinting again thang docs !
@@stephanripianzi4004 Stephen that sounds painful . Stay jacked though 61-year-old woman on the same path. Getting stronger every day! Have you practiced any autophagy to diminish the damage areas?
This "fired" term is very funny. Ohh I gues he is now crying because he is fired :)) I am also carnivore, but you just changed your doctor, doctor didn't loose anything. Do not dramatize a simple subject.
Hi Dr. Sean Karen Griffin here your 104 believing I will live to person. 2 of my favorite people What a treat... everyone even in your 70's you can feel better and stay healthy... Looking forward to another 30 yrs. of a beautiful life...
I am nearly 69 years of age a man in the Midwest. I’ve been mainly carnivore for three years I have never felt better in my life. Every medical marker is right on the money my health keeps improving daily thank you Dr. Ken Barry and Dr. Sean Omara, you saved my life and you’re saving many others keep up the good work.
In 2020, at 57 and 215 lbs, I went keto (later carnivore), the weight (50 lbs) just kept melting off, even past my goal, down to 165. I decided that was too light, so I started lifting more heavily and supplementing protein. It took a year+ but I put 5 lbs of muscle back on. My digital scale says I’m at 14% body fat. I look and feel decades younger. Now at 62: zero joint pain, zero pharma, zero gut issues, zero hypertension, as well as some other benefits.
Ha! I'm 48 and I was 215 down to 167 now. I worked out and lifted weights when I was 215. I could bench press 225 pounds for 18 consecutive reps when I weighed 215 and had a bench max of 345. Currently at 167 I can do 225 for a whopping 2 consecutive reps with a bench max of 245. I'm healing now is the difference. I'm trying to get to that low bodyfat percentage.
There are so many studies of elderly gaining strength and bone density in their 80's! We learned it in NASM training. Dr. O'Mara is doing the right thing! I told my doctor friend about what you're doing. He thought it was great! I'm now down 40lbs!! Thank you guys!
Got my blood panel results this week! My A1C was 5.6, Liver and kidney function was good, thyroid function was normal and my FIT test was negative! My cholesterol was a bit on the high side and the doctor wanted to put me on statins! I asked what my triglyceride level was and he informed me it wasn't done! Told him without those results the cholesterol level meant nothing! I told him Eskimos are healthy and have high cholesterol and that there was another study that showed all the test subjects were over 100 years old and they had high cholesterol so I will take my chances!
Don't worry about the studies. Worldwide Data from the W.H.O. shows the higher the cholesterol the longer and healthier the life across every country. Also 75% of heart attack victims do not have "high" cholesterol.
@@Michael_Lak True! Being armed with the truth I knew better than to be a victim of the system! It's a shame that we are being lied to and so many have died trusting their healthcare providers!
I’m a 71 year old female and I have been building muscle just using my Total Gym 4 days a week. I’m also primarily carnivore but sneak in a few keto days here and there. Also do IF.
@@ShineOn.. I love ours. We have an older XLS. Just start low and easy unless you are used to exercise. The SMaRT workout is the best for building muscle, but the resistance training alone has really helped me get stronger. UA-cam is great for TG videos and there are a couple of good FaceBook groups.
73 yo woman, four months carnivore, I am building muscle. Doing sprin ts on my stationary bike. Thanks Dr. Sean. Sometimes I wish I had a PE teacher yelling at me, cuz I tend to be lazy. Discipline builds muscle at any age. Love 💘 you guys. Thanks.
Doctors do NOT get excited about my success on the carnivore diet even though my success is evident through blood work, weight loss, BP reduction, metabolic changes for the best results ever. They still tell me that what I did is impossible and that is followed by their comments of "here is a couple of medications I want you to take". REALLY? Thanks, doctors...keep working on this and getting the word out to us. WE NEED YOU!
I remember as a kid, regularly running down a hill side near us, jumping from stone to stone, just like a mountain goat - it was wonderful. I am 67, I have been carnivore for 8 weeks and I have been doing resistance training for 3 weeks now. I have a hip replacement on one side and advanced arthritis in the other. Walking is painful, cycling isn't - I can aim to sprint on a bike when I get a bit stronger. I am looking forward to being strong and powerful again, even if I can't run and jump down a mountain - well who knows? :) You guys are such an inspiration - thank you.
Dear King, how exciting to hear. I’ve been able to gain muscle eating the proper human diet. I do feel much younger, not in months but years! Keep up the good work we’ll thank ourselve!
I'm 60, small framed and was always very strong, able to run until s few years ago. Got into a very toxic relationship with a stagnant person, my health plummeted and my weight got down to 93 at 5ft 2 I love vegetables and fruits. What vegetables and fruits can you eat on carnivore diet? How can I begin getting healthy? I have multiple heart issues and arthritis. Otherwise healthy
Carnivore diet is meat products only. No fruits or veggies. Maybe watch this video to learn about it. Multiple heart issues is not 'healthy'.@@mightymouse1005

@@Ladynipchick2 Hi I started doing intermittent fasting OMAD (one meal a day) & also doing the ketogenic diet last July lost a lot of my weight in the first 6 months, & started seeing changes in my health, then decided to do carnivore & lost the remainder of my weight now at my goal weight 63 kilos, I’m following the BBBE ( beef, bacon, butter & egg) at the moment & feel fabulous, sometimes I have fish or chicken & cheese, I also have 2 tablespoons of Apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water every morning , which I drink through a straw to protect my teeth, I feel it helped in my weight loss, I also drink plenty of water & enjoy herbal teas & normal cup of tea with a little full cream milk. hope all this helps. Good luck with your Carnivore Lifestyle.

Dr. Berry you need to interview and man called Old Guy Carnivore Mitch. He is 78 and doing well on Carnivore. He had a brain tumor. Came through the operation and is now carnivore I believe for over a year and a half. He would be ecstatic to hear from you. You would make his day!
Yes! I fully agree I nominated old carnivore Mitch for president. Without a doubt I am serious I believe he could turn this country around once he got the hang of everything. We need an own nonsense president someone that will do things his way, the right way Not the way things are imposed upon THEM. Eagle
I had really let myself go over the years. I started lifting 4 years ago during the Covid shutdowns. I just turned 51 and I went from a combined Bench\Squat\Deadlift of 600 lbs to currently over 1200 lbs. We started carnivore today, primarily for my wife's health but also to lose weight. I have trimmed up over the years with the weightlifting but I'm still at least 100 lbs overweight. I may be adding sprinting to the mix after watching this video.
@@MisterMxyzptlk1972100% 👍 Modern humans have been around for 300,000 years. During that time we’ve evolved to walk long distance, carry weight each day, coupled with intermittent sprinting. Your three c’s sounds perfect. Keep up the good work. 😀
You two encourage and excite me so much. If I get in a rut I need to replay this video. 63, 5'10, 218 lbs, female. I've been trying to get healthy but have a long way to go. No medications thankfully. Since the last time Dr O'Mara was on with you I have been using my rebounder, I got a spin bike, I sprint mow my yard 😂. But I can do better. This was just the pep talk I needed ❤❤❤❤
I’ve been using this excuse, too old(62) and I get tired more easily than I used to, so I must be too old. It ends here!!! New moto low and slow to start makes for a strong start.
In my glory days I ran Boston marathon for several years + tons of 5-10k’s. Now @ 68, I only run about 3-4 miles 4-5 days a week, but always include 5-10 minutes of hard gradual sprinting. Makes a huge difference in my stamina + keeping my stomach flat as a board (along with intermittent fasting/carnivore diet). Think Quality, not Quantity of workouts. Less is definitely MORE!!
You should cut out the cardio completely. You've probably got an enlarged(over develped) left ventricle and you've probably got a lot of visceral (invisible) fat as cardio promotes it. Listened to the video? Do you Want to look like a emancipated marathon runner or look like a sprinter?
@@Michael_LakThank you Dr. Who for your expert diagnosis. I’ve been following Dr. O’Mara’s channel for over two years now, which is why I’m doing less than a third of my previous cardio, but incorporating sprinting regiments to achieve low visceral fat, and a more muscular physique. But again Dr. Who, thanks much for your Boneheaded comments! 🥱
@@Michael_LakWell at least you listened amazing how many think jogging is good. They cant imagine it’s actually inflammatory. Might get away with a little when young but this poor fellow after all the distance marathon running defo needs to eliminate. Distance running is to sprinting as Low cholesterol is to Carnivore…….uh yeah forget running. Steak & Sprints for the W 👊
I had nachos for lunch....with sweet tea... but man it's supper time, and I can't let this go, spoke with Dr Omara in the phone he said START CARNIVORE.. SO I GOT A RIBEYE WITH SALT, UNSWEET TEA AND A WATER. Hope my lunch don't back fire on me. But half day 1, see what happens. I'm fatigued, knees shot, back shot, arthritis...I'm just DONE. at 48, I shouldn't be feeling like this. As a former Paramedic. This gooes against all that crap we were taught. Thanks dr berry dr sean!
Dr O'Mara, i understand that you have a military background. Im an Australian airforce aircrew vet. Can you imagine a military force where all are carnivore? Unstoppable.
Under Ghengis Khan the Mongols had that kind of Military, only God's direct intervention was able to stop them from taking over Rome and all of Europe. Incredible!
You should see the South African army (I’m from UK and live here). Rolypolyblobs of inflammation in a uniform that could double as a tent for a metabolicly healthy human.
I am an 88 year old from the UK. 21 days on carnivore, and my ankle swellings have gone,a constant itchy skin rash has gone, arthritis in my fingers has gone,my finger nails used to be brittle are now normal and growing twice as fast, and I feel as good as I have ever felt.
Excellent video! I ordered grass fed and finished beef from Certified Piedmontese in Nebraska per Dr. Sean's recommendation. Got my first delivery and omggg I love it! And... I feel like superwoman. I'm not peeing green yet, but I'm worried that I might be pregnant. uhohhh!
Dr O’Mara has got me back into short jogs in addition to my walks. Working up to eventually replace jogging with sprints. I’m in my mid 70’s. Easy does it.
Thanks to Dr. O'Mara I started sprinting a few weeks ago, I had to work on ankle mobility but I'm getting stronger and faster, and I also noticed increased vascularity in my arms.
Thank you Dr Berry and Dr Sean I needed to hear this i am so unfit I do suffer with my Back Yes i am eating healthy keto but no exercise Someone suggested i go swimming and water aerobics please God I am going to enrol next week at the lecture centre Once again thank you May God continue protecting you both and your families
I am 62, I had a heart attack at 57 I was I shape when it happened. This made my recovery faster and easier. I took a year to get back in shape. I sprinted on my bike first and now I sprint running do the carnivore diet and do not take any prescription drugs. I never had high cholesterol heart attack was caused by a congenital vein issue but my doctor wanted me to take statins. I refused and still feel great. Even after the open heart surgery to repair my heart. Love sprinting and out working all those 25 year Olds I work with.
Love this information! I’m 63, former bodybuilder been lifting weights all my life. I’m very interested in adding sprints back into my weekly training. Longevity is my goal, staying strong and vital.
I started carnivore and progressively. I felt so much better. I felt so much better that I was doing so much more hard labor than I was capable of doing before. The problem is I worked so hard because I felt so good that I ended up creating shoulder inflammation because my body hadn’t quite adjusted to my newfound energy and determination. I went to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis to a walk-in orthopedic clinic for them to look at the inflammation in my shoulder. I had an appointment scheduled. I sat there for 30 minutes after checking in and a young man with a clipboard, not a doctor, came out and refused me treatment. They said my injury was not orthopedic even though I had not been examined. They sent me down to the third floor of the hospital to the spine and neck center. But then after 10 minutes, other people started coming down there. I guess the doctors didn’t want to see patients today, so they were pushing them off to other offices. None of us get treated that day because no one was in that office. The condition of healthcare today in our modern society is a joke. Thank God for doctors like you.
Well, most middle-class people are indigent I guess because they can’t afford healthcare. The poor people don’t have a shot. Nothing is done in the name of humanity anymore. It’s all corporate greed with a splash of pure selfishness and laziness.
I am 84 and a physiologist. To build muscle you need the correct intake of essential amino acids and especially leucine with a limit of 8 g per dose and a max of 20 g per day. The only balanced sources are of animal origin, whey and casein from milk and red meat. Vegetable sources are devoid in lysine and need supplementing and compensating by eating more will potentially damage the liver. Unless you are a high performance athlete or a roustabout on an oil rig you do not need more high quality protein than provided by 12% of your energy intake. This is 65 g/day for males and 45 g/d for females. Using values like 0.8 g to 1.2 g per kilogram body mass is misleading because it is lean body mass or gross mass minus fat mass. These values range from 60% to 80% for normal individuals to 80 -90 for elite athletes and manual workers. This was established via closed circuit calorimetry way back in the 1950 and 60 when I took my doctorate and was involved in this research. On exercise the most important factor is a strong core which you can achieve by breathing and combined with an exercise like Tai Chi, Yoga or Pilates and aerobic exercise by walking on inclines either in the gym or outdoors. I live on an island where I have to walk down 600 feet to the local store and the same back with a loaded backpack. HIIT exercises are not to be recommended for the over 70s unless you have been doing them before though the use of an exercise bike with intermittent sprints and rest is good.
I'm 71 and just started Tai Chi because I wanted to have better balance. I love doing it. I've always hated exercising so I'm happy I've found something I like. I've also been walking and have almost gotten to 2 miles. I hope to go 3 miles. There's a tiny 90+ year old woman in my Tai Chi class who can bend over and put the palms of her hands flat on the floor. She also can grasp her ankles. I hope after a while I can do this, too. I'm taking what Dr. Berry has said pretty seriously but after doing Atkins for 3+ years I refuse to go as strict re: meat that I did on it. I'm eating eggs again, but after eating around 3,000 eggs in 3 years I got thoroughly sick of them. Ditto meat. I think God made all of these beautiful fruits, vegetables and grains so I refuse to quit eating them, but will eat less. When these men have been Carnivore for another 25 years we'll see what the real consequences of it are. They might not be as healthy as they think they will be.
I have two guidelines for my exercise. 1 something is better than nothing so do something! 2 Don't hurt yourself so be mindful about your form and your body's response to the exercise.

You guys are the type of private practice physicians I want to be working with ❤ It’s so hard helping doctors scale their practices when I’m actually into natural, functional, healing
I am 63 years old and had a knee injury that stopped me from running. So, I bought a 29” single speed mountain bike and after seeing Dr. O’Mara’s channel I have started sprinting on my bike.
Yep, I understand this scenario. I essentially did the same thing. Was told by a practice I had been going to for 20 years to schedule a new patient appointment for having been absent for 2 years. So that's big so called Heath systems. They try to penalize you in some way for not being a "regular". Here I thought it was great & courteous of me to not go if I wasn't ill to accommodate patients who were in need of appointments. So, yeah, wasn't going to accept their new patient policy when they had been seeing me for 20 years. So yeah, I fired them. Sad,😢 really. Non compliant. Better for it. I've never felt better! I've lost more weight & gotten healthier almost more than I've ever been since then. It's got to go back to all private practice not huge health systems owning these doctors!! That's the only way that things will get better.
I try to listen to the full podcast while riding my bike. I do some heavy riding especially uphill to get cardio. Whenever clear to do so, I try to sprint as fast as I can. Also get a wonderful insight and education. Today I rode 10.00 miles while listening to gather video footage of the flooding. Also resistance while riding a bike in 1 foot of water.

I’m a just-turned-74 yo woman. I started getting in better shape around age 68 with yoga and pilates, started with weights at 70, and made the mistake of giving up cardio as I did. In ‘23, I had pneumonia in June and Covid in December (2exact weeks-short Covid!) Afterwards I thought I should take walks, and found to my horror that I could only walk 1/3 mile without being stopped by back pain and shortness of breath. Around that time I watched one of Dr Sean’ videos about sprinting to get rid of belly fat (my nemesis). So I took up treadmill again, but it is a slow process. I have worked up to doing 1 mile in just under 25 minutes. Anything above 3 mph I have to start jogging. Real sprinting is still in the future. I just have to not give up. Right now I don’t want to spend more than 25 minutes, so I am just slowly upping my pace. I tried a 1-degree incline and it killed my back. I assume I will overcome this eventually. My plan is “never give up, never give in.”
I would never try another chiropractor again. Did absolutely nothing but cost money and inconvenience. Teeter table a few minutes per day, Burst strength exercises, swimming in a spring upriver is my new thing because Blue springs state park is 35 minutes away and I consider it an intensified cold plunge😅 57 and have spinal disc Degeneration , and scoliosis from the time I was a kid. Back pain is the worst. Carnivore is only thing that has helped inflammation at all.
There are physical therapists on UA-cam with exercises to get rid of back pain (strengthens specific targeted muscles mostly). You might want to give them a try because walking by itself probably won't fix back issues.
I agree about the fruits. One thing sweet ALWAYS leads to Another. "The enemy is Sweet". That will be my mantra when I want to grab that crap! Thank you!!😊❤😊
I started body building in my 30s and walking 15 to 20 miles every four to five days now I’m 58 and never regretted it, but one mistake people make they can over do it working out to much your body needs to relax properly before you exercise again, walking is the best exercise before you do any workout to build muscle properly, running is ok but it does put a strain on your heart more than walking and you will have less energy to do any kind of exercise like body building, my advice to anyone who wants to build muscle don’t over do it your body needs to recover first before you even think about exercising again give yourself at least two or three days rest believe me the results is so much better. ❤👍
Thanks Dr. Berry! After 1-1.5 years of watching videos (yours in particular) I started my carnivore diet January 1st 2024. It is now June 23, 2024 and I have lost 56 pounds. Around the 2nd week in April I had a great deal of sagging skin so I rejoined my local gym and have gone every other day for resistance training and the other days I walk/sprint. Sunday is my rest day. Jordan Peterson and his daughter were what made up my mind. In February I started fasting every week on Saturday or Sunday and that has really accelerated my weight loss. Once again thank you.
I joined Dr.Berry‘s UA-cam channel when he was just a young buck. I also joined Dr. O’Mara’s UA-cam channel when he was just getting going. In my books these two docs are all you really need if you are looking for information to optimize your health, Keto, carnivore, intermittent fasting, extended fasting, life extension, sprinting, sarcopaenia , Microbiome, fermented foods, and ancestral, natural living. Do yourself a favor and get younger as you get older and join both gentlemen’s UA-cam channels as a lifelong subscriber.
Today I was at the gym and 4 ladies were all happy & all hyped up because they just got there teenagers on oh Ozempic injections…I was telling them about carnivore diet, I even showed them my UA-cam videos & they look at me like I’m nuts.
@fiskfarm, this is so true. I feel saddened and frustrated whenever I see someone struggling as I once did. I want so bad to help them. But my wife reminds me how hard it can be to convince someone.
Jack Lalannne is the perfect example of what a lifetime of fitness exercise accomplishes. At the age of 80, in 1994, he celebrated his 80th birthday by swimming 1-1/2 miles in Long Beach, Calif., harbor while towing 80 boats with 80 people-while also handcuffed and shackled.

From my experience, Foot and tendon strengthening exercises and stretching the calves if you sprint are important as we age to help stop getting plantar fasciitis. I got it from having really tight calves and sprinting up a steep hill which caused me to sprint on my toes, rather than the forefoot. Eating a carnivore diet and just Sprinting, I put on 10kgs mainly muscle in my legs in just 7 months, zero weights.
I’ve been following Dr. O’Mara sprinting advice for six months and it has been a game changer. At 67, a day doesn’t go by where someone doesn’t remark how remarkably fit I am. My blood pressure averages 110/67. Besides sprinting, I am weightlifting and playing squash. Between upper body sets, I do jump squats.
Thank you Dr Omara for encouraging me to sprint. I have been sprinting 3 times a week for almost 4 months now. Definitely a challenge to get to the point where I am now. Before my 4 sprints, I do an “atomic workout” it’s drills for sprinters, not sure if you heard of it. It was created by a college track coach. Interested on your thoughts about it. It’s available on UA-cam.
It just confuses me how people can have so many health issues and not panic. At 56 I have never experienced any of the problems Sean O Mara had. Last doctor visit was in 1996. That's when he told me I had the highest cholesterol he had ever seen in a 28 year old.
Afternoon Rick. Lucky you. I waited till 63 to work this out. My baby granddaughter Daisy has been carnivore from 4mths of age. She walked at 8mths, runs at 12months. At her first birthday party I watched her trying to climb up the window sill and get outside to see her dog. My little carnivore monster. She should get a doctor free life like you.
My 65 year old version of a sprint is currently breaking into what is for others a “jog” for thirty second intervals when I’m walking on my treadmill. The impact is softer than it would be outdoors and I’m unlikely to fall. Gotta start somewhere. 😂
I'm in my 70s and have started jogging again I love this carnivore lifestyle. I really can't do heavy lifting because of a neck injury but I'm much more physically fit and do what I can. I have great muscle tone and energy
Go to a wellness based chiropractor who can work with your spine. Maybe not adjust the neck at the injury site, but the areas above and below, making a difference for the long term.
I am 85 and joined keto a year ago. Since then I have been visiting a gym twice a week. And yes, my muscles are bigger and stronger and my lifting prowess has almost doubled. So, never give up!

Anywhere close to OKC?
You are definitely blessed, and more than likely, you live state side and not in Canada. Our beef is outrageously priced.
We can’t find anything cheaper then $10/lb either for beef or bison here in Idaho 😏

After my stint in the hospital I asked my doctor about the ketogenic diet and she shot that down in a heartbeat. She said to eat less meat and more vegetables and fruits. I knew I couldn't trust her about my health.
My dr was fired by me.....just kept pushing meds and got irritated when i refused. 🙄

I share your disappointment with our medical system.
Partly it's because it has to care for so many more indigent patients than ever before.
Well, most middle-class people are indigent I guess because they can’t afford healthcare. The poor people don’t have a shot. Nothing is done in the name of humanity anymore. It’s all corporate greed with a splash of pure selfishness and laziness.

Outstanding!!
I have two guidelines for my exercise. 1 something is better than nothing so do something! 2 Don't hurt yourself so be mindful about your form and your body's response to the exercise.

It was interesting how my posture has changed after carnivore. I was always told to stand up straight my whole life, not knowing what they were talking about, I was standing up straight. Now I know 😂
Part of that may be psychological. We feel happier and more confident on carnivore. Also, losing weight around one’s waist helps in standing straight.
You guys are the type of private practice physicians I want to be working with ❤ It’s so hard helping doctors scale their practices when I’m actually into natural, functional, healing
Thank you Dr Berry + Dr O’Mara. Very helpful info.
Yes, I am old enough to remember those days of private practice, house calls, etc.
That would be fantastic!
Raw dairy has the enzyme to digest the lactose… We should be talking about the difference between pasteurized dairy, and raw dairy. Pasteurized dairy is worse than grain fed beef.
Everything is worse than green fed beef that's not the worst thing in the world grass fed of course is the best. .eagle
Most lactose intolerant people tolerate A2 milk without problems.

I’m a just-turned-74 yo woman. I started getting in better shape around age 68 with yoga and pilates, started with weights at 70, and made the mistake of giving up cardio as I did.
In ‘23, I had pneumonia in June and Covid in December (2exact weeks-short Covid!)
Afterwards I thought I should take walks, and found to my horror that I could only walk 1/3 mile without being stopped by back pain and shortness of breath.
Find a wellness based chiropractor who does long term to make real changes in your spine. People like you respond the best to their care.
My pain goes away when I eat Meat, Eggs, & Butter only consistently. Hopefully, your pain will soon disappear, too.
Hope your back pain leaves you. That’s tough.
Do you still have sagging skin?
I joined Dr.Berry‘s UA-cam channel when he was just a young buck. I also joined Dr. O’Mara’s UA-cam channel when he was just getting going.
68 here, female; helping siblings clean up after both parents passed January & February. Helped my brother move a heavy desk about 5 -6werks ago, to get it onto his truck to donate & get it out of that house. Felt no pain in knee then, nor when helped unload it on the other end ZERO left knee pain. NO pain rest of day, same day. BUT Next AM could hardly move, left knee stiff & swollen. All right before starting PT had asked for, to improve lower body & core strength!
It has taken weeks for very slight improvement, worse with flexion, sustained flexion. Got knee compression strap last Wed - like a miracle Thurs am & could move, work in my garden area in am! Took strap off & rested, could hardly move that afternoon! Spent Thurs pm, Fri, Sat resting in bed & icing my knees & finally improved, into Sunday. Frustrating! No pain sitting or laying down, hursts now around patella. Has dragged on long enough calling dr. In am. SO femrustrating when trying to get stronger, to avoid what happened to my 94 year old Mom & 98 yesr old dad. SO disappointed how has slowed me down. Usually only pain around knee cap, not inside knee sigh. Wish I knew what was really wrong & what to do to fix it.
Just ordered lbs of grass raised mest earlier & arrived today Going carnivore tomorrow!! 5'6" & 254, HTN & DM2. Aches & pains, chiro needed as bones going out of alignment often, especially S/I's & tailbone. Hands & gingers started suddenly swelling & painful x1.5 years, arrgghh! I used to be strong. I know I lost muscle doing Optifast 2 years ago, regardless of what they said/denied & got worse. One thing after another & close to incapacitated. Groan!! Please God I hope this works!!
Great interview!!! Thank you both 💯🎯😃
A great discussion. Much appreciated 🙏
Great interview and I'm at the point where I need to up my exercise, without injury.
Been carnivore since 1st of April, gaining muscle like crazy at 63 years old. Protein baby!
Laughable comment
God Bless these two boys. They are changing my life!
I do feel like a kid so much.
I made kettlebells out of gallon milk jugs filled with sand.
HIIT on a stationary bike, treadmill, or elliptical trainer is a good way to incorporate sprinting safely.
Yes! I have difficulty walking due to extremely flat, probated feet. The elliptical saved my life! Different mechanics.
Im 63, carnivore for a year. Wonderful. Does inflammation contribute to lower back pain?
Precious content. God bless u all! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm so inspired by this talk. Thank you.
@@johnallen7367 Thanks to you for choosing to eat real, nutritious foods!
Hey….one of my followers ….thanks for catching this 👊👊
A lot of people mistake diseases for natural aging. They don't try to fix anything because they assume it's hopeless.
Jogging is one of the worst things you can do. Did you watch the video?
