Treant form is still in the game, just have to buy the Tome of the Wilds: Treant Form from Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade or Amurra Thistledew in the Dreamgrove.
I miss thorns. At some point it could be talented so that any enemy that would attack you when you had thorns on you they got rooted. It was great to escape from enemies, specially when leveling. Also the permanent tree of life form for healers, that was introduced in TBC.
Treant form is still in the game, just have to buy the Tome of the Wilds: Treant Form from Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade or Amurra Thistledew in the Dreamgrove.
@LadyTsunade777 While the actual form was good, the bonus to healing(and mana by proxy) was what made it shine. Doing at level content pre and post removal was noticeable. After that, I just went Main Tank healing on my pally.
@cabrondemente1 My job wasn't to do damage it was to heal bot. As long as there wasn't a ton of movement involved, I would raid heal and throw additional HoT on tank or some rouge who didn't understand how cleave works. The healing difference was noticeable still able to do my job.
I miss the spell teleporting directly to moonglade! I would use it all the time to hang out with druids in Moonglade. They even moved the teleport in spot with the new spell hub.
Faerie fire: it was the ranged pull for cats at the time. Before we could cast moonfire in cat form in order to stay in we could range pull with faerie fire. Very useful for questing, running old raids, dungeons, etc.

As a DK, I loved getting the Plague Mushroom from Druids since it had a 30 sec duration, and would apply all of our diseases to all enemies within 8 yds of it every 3 seconds. Was so amazing since the only other ways to apply our diseases were Icy Touch and Plague Strike, both of which were single target.
I think adaptive swarm needs to be on this list. It was the Necrolords Covenant ability for Druids, and in Dragonflight it got turned into a talent, and it became the "1 button to win" healing ability. Since they took it out with the TWW pre-patch, we've lost what feels like 80% of Resto Druid healers. They don't know how to heal with HoTs. It was just "Adaptive swam to carry" and that was it. Claws of Shirvallah wouldve been a cool visual change for the Druid of the Claw hero spec. Maybe coulda reworked it to be more of a hybrid between cat and bear giving a mix of both without being full benefits of course for an actual functional ability.
I didn't play druid at the time, so i might remember incorrectly, but i think you also forgot to mention that since Genisis consumes the rejuvs and gives the genisis heal instead, you could still stack rejuv on top, which was basically just twice as much healing, which made it awesome.
Both farie fire and Displacer Beast take their names from Dungeons and Dragons, interestingly the Displacer beast is trademarked by Hasbro and should have resulted in a lawsuit but I'm guessing that the actiblizzard being the bigger company meant there wasn't one.

OG Balance Insect Swarm. Got removed, then replaced by a shitty Moonfire pallete swap. Then, when they added it back, Balance was the ONLY SPEC that didn't have access to it.
I liked Faerie Fire. It's one of those abilities that may be very niche, but they still add to class fantasy. If it was such an issue for PvP, it could've made more sense to increase it's cooldown, or decrease its duration on players. Miss it.
The funny thing...the reasons they gave for removing symbiosis...applied EXACTLY to the Shadowlands covenants. It's crazy that they were so tone deaf to not only repeat a mistake but then double down on it.
The first one was for ALL specs that used mana, as mop removed int giving mana, which you didn't even mention when talking about it. They wanted everyone to have the same amount of mana regardless of their gear. The passive had literally nothing to do with.. basically anything you said at all in the slightest and was literally JUST as a way to make it so specs that didn't use mana, like ret/prot pallis, or cat/bear druids had a smaller mana pool so they couldn't spam heals, but then make sure specs that DID, like resto/boomy druid, or resto/ele sham, had a larger mana pool as prior to mop, that's just how it would have worked with having all int gear. Agi/str users would have lower mana because they wore no int gear and specs that did would have a higher mana pool. It had nothing to do with making it "easier to heal" or anything. The reason it was removed was because they just have a set amount of mana that everyone has now, regardless of their spec. If I am a ret palli and switch to holy, my mana bar max stays the same, basically they increased the amount of mana non int users have to match the amount that int users have. But now change the mana cost of stuff if you are not in an int using spec. So if I cast flash of light as ret it will take 10% of my mana but in holy it will take like 2.2% or something. And with this change even int users have had their mana cost of healing spells increased. If I switch to shadow on my priest, flash heal cost 10% instead of 2% when in holy or disc. I'm hoping you didn't cut anything FOR that first ability since it was not druid exclusive, but used for ALL int specs in mop, just named something different for each spec. Again, to replace int giving mana which is how int has worked since, well, since WC3 really.
Druid Mana pool was fine with dragonflight. I play rest of druid, rest of shaman, mist Weaver monk and I also have a level 70 preservation of ocher. The only class I ever had mana issues with was Russell. Shannon. Once I get my priest and holy paladin up to level 80 and start healing I'll let you know what they are like.
Faerie Fire was our bow and arrow. Feral tank from Vanilla to Wrath myself. Yes, you could drop form for Moonfire, engineering bomb, etc, but when chain pulling a dungeon/raid or picking up a pat it did wonders. Wasn't a hassle or annoying. 😂 Hurricane was our AOE! We had no other AOE other than Bear Swipe in Vanilla and BC. Was Hurricane good? No but it was always fun to cast or in fights that used similar animations to scare fellow raiders. Feral is Feral. Feral is bear and cat. And yes, Symbosis was overpowered. As a mostly classic player I'll say the times we were OP were rare early on so we as long-time druid players thoroughly enjoyed the times people said we were too overpowered. 😂😂😂
I wish symbiosis came back but make it so the ability given to the non Druid is based on their role+class (as example all mage specs would get the same Druid ability, paladins would get a different ability for each of their specs, etc) while the Druid side works like the original symbiosis but have the ability they gain have a longer cooldown (or given a short cooldown if original doesn’t have one). Heck they could even nerf what other classes get from Druid in the same way so it’s like yes the Druid is sharing abilities with a partner but both are getting less effective versions of the others
Symbiosis was so fun, I remember having a guide bookmarked that had all of the class spec combos listed lol. MoP was so fun man, never understood the kung fu panda hate
I've played a Balance Druid since MoP and no spell has ever been as busted as Displacer Beast imo. Being able to blink through raid mechanics was way too powerful for a class that already had immense utility.
I already know Symbiosis is going to be on this list without watching it all and other than the fact that it was probably a nightmare to balance and that's the main reason it was removed I bet... I propose another reason. In Throne of Thunder, my friends and I would go in on our two druids and two priests. Symbiosis gave druids Lifegrip. We'd be normal until the Turtle boss. We would space out and leave two people on the cliff before the boss and as soon as the tank would go in, we would chain our grips together to pull the tank all the way back up to the cliff drop, pulling them a second time on the cliff to place them at the ledge. This would wipe the raid or reset the boss. It was kind of 50/50. This is only one of the degenerate tactics that could be done with this spell. I'm sad it's gone, but it's probably for the best.
Every single druid player here knew exactly what 1 and 2 would be long before we even got that far in the video. The truth is, if you have two such beloved abilities they should have never been removed.
proper rng boomkin from wrath, bear cat from wrath, tree healer from wrath....actually, anything after that was just a poor shadow of what druids used to be.

Blizzard keeps struggling every new expansion with class fantasy and it's like yeah wonder why, maybe it's all the unique and interesting skills you keep removing. After they announced Hero talents, I was so excited to see some new stuff available with all the classes but like maybe two of the hero talents out all of them have anything fun (DK mounted combat being an example)
It will always baffle me that balance... Fuck it I am gonna say nonhealer druids, even today it baffles me that nonhealer druids never existed before the Dungeon finder. Actually I do not recall druids when I played classic, maybe one but they were playing a healer. A real shame as to get through dungeons, you have to conform to what others want you to be. And before anyone ask, dual specing can be a pain in the ass, even if you are swapping between the two.
Didn't they re-add symbiosis for Shadowlands Kyrian Covenant? And I think the spell is still learned of you have a druid in this Covenenat and are in Shadowlands zones. I never had a chance to try it though, cause I never had anyone in group while leveling in Shadowlands zones...
"by this time talent trees were far too inflated" boooooooooo removing the trees was one of the worst decisions in WoWs history and turned the game into a never ending treadmill of borrowed power.
Symbiosis actually didn’t create a world where they had to memorize all these new spells. It created a world where meta comps excluded classes where their symbiosis wasn’t the absolute top tier. Bad design.
It's nice to see this channel is still of the same (low) quality. So much bad information in this video. Was this written by AI? Absolutely zero research. -Ashamnaes Frenzy still exists, it was just renamed to Feral Frenzy. It works almost exactly the same. -Essence of G'hanir still exists in a form. It was merged with Flourish after legion. -Moonfire did not replace Faerie Fire in any way. FF was a massive threat generator that did some damage. Moonfire generates resources and does lots of damage, cleaves and has other interactions with your abilities. -Genesis still exists in a form, although it's only single target. It's called "Invigorate". -Hurricane shouldn't be on this list, it was literally never good. It was just Blizzard or Rain Of Fire, and nobody cared when it got removed. -Wild Mushroom still exists for balance. It explodes after one second instead of having to detonate it yourself, but otherwise it's functionally the same. Changed or iterated on is not the same as removed.... My god this video is a mess.

Claws were only reason I made a Troll Druid... Q_Q WIsh it returns... If nothing else as option to unlock like other form changes.
So unfair that guardian druid get to have a werebear form but feral druids didn't keep the werecat form...
I miss the big heal that the druid had in vanilla wow
Voice-over: sadly it was removed in legion.
Text: thankfully it was removed in legion.
Wasn't the fire cat added before the sabre form for druids?
Ah I do miss Symbiosis
Didn't they re-add symbiosis for Shadowlands Kyrian Covenant? And I think the spell is still learned of you have a druid in this Covenenat and are in Shadowlands zones.
I never had a chance to try it though, cause I never had anyone in group while leveling in Shadowlands zones...
Claws of Shirvallah my beloved
"by this time talent trees were far too inflated" boooooooooo removing the trees was one of the worst decisions in WoWs history and turned the game into a never ending treadmill of borrowed power.
You could Faerie FIRE AND SUNDER ARMOR FAERIE FIRE WAS INVALUABLE
there was no hurricane in vanilla
My druid in classic stealthed an escort quest in dustwallow marsh using soothe beast. Can't do that anymore :(
God those talent trees sucked ass, so happy with what they did in dragonflight
Please make something about Monk class
its a crime to remove claw of shirvallah
I want my symbiosis back... my wife and I were balance and frost mage so i got mirror image she got healing touch very useful
Symbiosis actually didn’t create a world where they had to memorize all these new spells. It created a world where meta comps excluded classes where their symbiosis wasn’t the absolute top tier.
Bad design.
Still waiting for the Shirvallah form to come back as a glyph or unlockable form. I miss it. :(
It's nice to see this channel is still of the same (low) quality.
I understand the headache symbiosis must have been to balance but it was a lot of fun.
I hope they make the werecat forms available in the barber shop one day 🙏
what about top 10 removed warrior abilities?
or hunter?
or mage
or priest
or paladin
shaman
