Not sure what to do with your ground chicken? Try my Buffalo Chicken Blue Cheese Meat Loaf from my Biggest Loser Family Cookbook: www.devinalexander.com/2015/10...
"Easier" how? I've been doing this for years and it comes out perfect without "waiting" that extra time. If you wait too long and it actually freezes, you also run the risk of it becoming watery.
This video was great because my supermarket is often out of turkey mince when I want to make meatballs! I also found this tip helpful! I only have a small processor that is an attachment to my hand blender, and I found that the chunks stick to the side a bit, but when I'd popped them in the freezer for 20 minutes first I didn't have to open it up and scrape the sides as much!
I actually do this with cooked chicken out of my IP and grind up to make my dogs food. Works great cooked too! I never would have thought about doing it with raw chicken but good if I want to make meatballs. Thx for video!
Great video! I just subscribed to your channel. Hope to see more videos, I'm trying out a new lifestyle of eating clean! This was the first thing I searched for, because I love the ease of cooking ground chicken.
Thank you very much just what I was looking for cuz it's very expensive to buy it in the grocery store and I wanted chicken egg rolls thank you see you soon
Well, I would not serve ground chicken to a lady on a date, but it sure the hell beats the hell out of eating another grilled chicken breast. You just pan-sear that ground chicken + add whatever spices you like and you have a pretty decent protein dish, while economizing on calories. Also, you can add some lean ground beef to fool your stomach into thinking it's eaten something more delicious.
Hannah Christensen you lose almost none if you use a spatula. I do this all the time with a pound or two. Better to do a pound at a time if you don’t have a great food processor. Good luck!
probably not. blenders tend to need liquid and then they'll turn your chicken into pate, not grind it. you need either a food processor that will pulse or a meat grinder or a meat grinder attachment to a stand mixer.
@@devinalexander well I went with breast pieces and that was a mistake... bit dry for my liking and I think I may have overdone it in the oven. Learning experience none the less, and I'll try dark meat next. Your video was very helpful!
@@akshaykant1624 If they were dry, it was likely either overcooking...or not enough 'binder" in it. You need egg or something like bbq sauce or ketchup (obviously not in kebabs, but something) and then to cook them just until they're no longer pink inside. It's hard to advise as to exactly how long becuase all oven temps vary. But if it's a recipe you love and plan to repeat over and over, it's worth cooking just 1 kebab at a time until you find the right oven temperature. My ground chicken meatballs are never dry and I only use white meat, no added fat. :) Good luck!

loved your video. this is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
If you pop the cubed chicken in the freezer on a baking sheet for 20 to 25 minutes it firms up and is easier to grind in a processor

Devin Alexander I think he means easier to get the desired grind texture. If it’s perfect for you there’s no need for that extra step.
You just save a lot money and time for me with this idea 😁😘😘
Thank you for your tutorial I appreciate your video

Ya I just want to see a video of chicken being ground up like beef, for some reason it satisfies me.
thanks a lot
man I wish I had that
what food processor are you using in this video?
Could you please suggest me a good mixer grinder
Can i use a regular food processor?
Can you shape it into patties or meat balls?
Love It ❤❤❤
Thankyou Beautiful 😍
Weird, my name is Kevin Alexander
Can you use chicken thighs instead?
Simple
I've deep brothed chicken broth for soup
That isn't ground chicken. lol. That's blended chicken.
That’s why you only pulse it, so it’s not fully blended and smushy
Why blade you used?

How much chicken did you use and how much did you end up with in grams or pounds?

Will my Vitamix work?

@@devinalexander don’t most blenders have a pulse option? Can I just use a normal priced blender that has a pulse option?

You are worried about 10 calories? Go take a hike jabroni.
Do people still think it's cool to say jabroni?
Dump it out and show us the result!!
Can you use a normal blender ?
Some blenders will just turn it into mush. :( You really want a food processor...or super high powered blender , if possible.
Nice arms :)
