      Dude I have no idea. I work in audiology but am a non-physician practitioner. When people call me “ear doctor” I am about to jump out of my skin even though I could get my doctorate in less than two years. Literally I would self snitch within the first month.

    crazy to me that they could say no crime had been committed! Forging documents? Practicing without a license? Fraud?
    Impersonating a doctor should 100% be looked at as criminal.

    • @Red1Green2Blue3

      Probably because he admitted to not being a "medical" doctor and didn't prescribe any medicine, that coupled with States like Florida allowing for any type of religious "alternative medicine" probably means he didn't do anything different from any of these weird Pastors or alternative healers.

  • @Meebeedeep
    @Meebeedeep 8 місяців тому +150

    I used to be a CMA (certified medical assistant) and the doctors I used to work with would constantly call me and my other MA's nurses in front of our patients, and the patients would straight up call us nurses too because of it. We would constantly get onto the doctors about it because we are not nurses! There is some overlap in what we can do but we can't do everything a nurse can do and management didn't like the doctors calling us nurses either. You can't claim to be something that you aren't in the medical field. I'm shocked that he got away with it for so long tbh!

    • @AlliLove90
      @AlliLove90 8 місяців тому +7

      I wonder if he was doing that to make you feel better & valuable and not less then. I know even nurses feel less then doctors! Every degree / training is valid. & No one is better or less as a person for being a doctor or medical assistant. but people don’t always treat people like it.
      But that’s a grey area because he also could have gotten you in trouble!

I am in awe of my partner and how they are so passionate about their work and helping patients… to see someone try to fraudulently represent those who have put in the work, it’s disgusting. Truly. I work with patients who have struggled with white coat syndrome because of a multitude of circumstances, and this is just another thing that keeps a barrier between patients and them reaching out for medical intervention. @@great-garden-watchright! Being a doctor or even a counselor puts you in a position of power, and breaking that trust can really make it hard for people to see medical help in the future. TMI but I had a real doctor blame me for problems during a high risk pregnancy and it really affected me negatively. She provided nothing but insult. She was retiring and upset that I was ruining her summer for the issues. Had that been my first baby I probably wouldn’t have another purely from the mistreatment and neglect by this bad apple doctor before, during and after a vulnerable time in a woman’s life. There is literally no way you could be an anesthesiologist at that age. I'm a RN in pre/post surgery and work closely with anesthesiologists. I think the youngest resident (meaning they have completed school, but are not yet referred to as staff anesthesiologists) is like 28. Medical school is long and anesthesiologist do a lot of schooling. It's not unheard of for a nurse to pull an anesthesiologist into a code to intubate a patient. Walking around in an anesthesiologist coat is insane, plus surgical anesthesiologist usually wear surgery scrubs, not dress clothes and a lab coats.

    • @cytokine_storm
      @cytokine_storm 8 місяців тому +20

      Anesthesiologist here. Medical school is 4 years, most graduate around age 25-26. Anesthesiology residency is 4 years, and many do additional fellowships adding another year. So a brand new attending would typically be around 29-31. Increasingly, Anesthesiologists have other degrees and can be that much older after training. We do wander the halls sometimes for inpatient pre-op/post-op visits. We also typically respond to and run codes and manage emergency airways. But unless we are in administration or a clinic-based Anesthesiologist like pain medicine, we wear scrubs. I haven't worn my lab coat in years, even when I serve as an ICU attending. We definitely don't walk into or perform obgyn specific care, unless the baby is coming and the obgyn is in an emergency (I've delivered many babies this way).

    I used to think the soap opera plot where someone pretends to be a doctor and no one can tell straight away was pretty flawed and YET.

    Hi nursing student here,
    Holistic medicine isn’t just a singular type of treatment. It’s an approach that uses considerations to the person’s whole and entire wellbeing. It’s not just treating the diagnoses but addressing and implementing way to treat someone based on someone’s individually with respect to their culture and spiritual beliefs along with traditional medicine.

    My son a little over a year ago at 6 months old was transferred to St. Mary’s in Florida for emergency brain surgery.. to think this could actually happen and him walking into anywhere is extremely scary and concerning.. now it makes you rethink every doctor who walked into my sons room or surgery room.

      This is what saddens me and scares me the most about this situation...nobody should ever have to question their CHILD's medical care providers and team...you already have so much stress and worries concerning your child, the last thing that should be added to your plate of stress is the care being provided to your child...all the love and vibes being sent your way...I truly hope you and your little can stay out of the hospital for a long long time

      He has zero passion for the medical field, he is just interested because he sees doctors as the highest occupation there is (or at least he thinks that other people think so). That's the only reason, he wanted to be seen as one of those half-gods in white. Dude had zero medical knowledge and no interest in learning some. He could've also larped as a lawyer or politician, but the politician role was already occupied by George Santos. I could also imagine, that the "holistic" naturopath or whomstever he went back when he was ill, talked down about medical doctors (as they like to do) and now he thinks it's an easy to learn field, just wing it while you're at it.
