Barring software issues, Ocean's design and drive is much better than Tesla. Fisker is fixing the software bugs every month and the updates are OTA. So hoping all are resolved by May/June.
What a load of toss! I have had my car since January, absolutely NO OTA updates EVER, everyday I get the promise "coming next week" indeed "coming soon" should be Fiskers sales slogan! The energy consumption on the Ocean is absolutely HORRENDOUS MY CAR USES 600 Wats per mile, coming up double the stated use!!
@@KeithScull-ul4oo Sooooooo what version of software are you on? Have you gotten 2.0 yet? Others who have had the car since October stated that they received 4 updates between October and March.

Thanks for the video. I really liked it because it simulates how a consumer may experience the car at a dealer. I can't imagine anyone considering the Ocean would have been been more interested in doing so after interacting with this salesperson. The dealer sales model will not work unless the sales people have passion about EVs and this car in particular. This sales guy, whom you treated graciously, was shockingly uniformed on all fronts. Fisker HQ should watch and learn from your video!
I test drove at the same location (brand new dealership) and the sales people are mostly contracted and came to Atlanta from as far as California. The manager was very adept at answering the questions.
The battery is 113kw/h but only 107 is actually usable. That sunroof opens at least another 10-12” more than you initially opened it during the orientation with the Fisker rep. Have had my FOO since Nov 2023 and now have 5100 miles including multiple trips from Seattle to Portland (and Salem), to Wenatchee (100 mikes each way over 2 mountain passes of 3k and 4k elevation) and countless drives around Puget Sound area. I love the car and pray it finds a legit new owner who will continue to support it and by some miracle, roll out features we were promised but have not yet received (independent doggie window operation/Pet Mode, Torque Vectoring, Full ADAS w/Lidar, etc). Fun fun car to drive.
And the jackass reviewed an older model with software that had been outdated 2 versions ago but dealer on lot where he borrowed car had not taken the time to update software. Completely useless review by a tesla fanboi.
Thanks for the review! The odometer is in the Charge Tab in the infotainment screen. Also, going into Drive probably due to the key fob (which is a fix that is coming… NBD) or the Hollywood mode enabled.
Fisker needs to properly train their ride-along staff, so they can properly answer questions and reduce false information. As an owner, I heard several bad responses.
IMO this car wasn’t completed, maybe because of the pressure of investor. They over promised a lot and 100% under delivered. Is crazy that you have to pay for something with a promise that someday in this century you will have all they promised.

@chillmeister I approached this test drive more like a consumer, and I don't think the rep we had would have had any sort of answer for a question like that. I agree, though, it's hard to trust a company when it's less than straightforward with info like that.

It's one of the best things around to drive... But a review about a car from a guy who is experienced in reviewing mobile phones, it's like having an admin clerk running a business. They could do it, but they probably lack the experience to be credible to the world. Sadly his review "policy" is BS having now watched all his videos on cars, he is hypocritical (just need to watch his latest Rivian one to know that)
