Hi Friends, I'm SO excited for this 1 hour power yoga class!
Let's 🔥fire it UP🔥 with this full 1hour vinyasa yoga class. This is a free power yoga class that you can come back to any time you need a good yoga sweat!
In this 1 hour power yoga flow, we'll move through powerful vinyasa yoga flows, challenge ourselves, while regulating our breath and our mind. We'll breathe through strong yoga poses including stacked standing balances, arm balances, and inversions.
Whether you're doing power yoga for weight loss, yoga for strength, or yoga for flexibility this yoga class will challenge and tune you in.
Practice this class as a 60 min yoga workout for a chance to find mental and physical strength, perseverance, and equanimity.

LOVED IT!!! I was a fitness instructor for 28 years and have been doing yoga for 15+. It is a great adjunct to weights and cardio. Loved the cues and Crow Pose is always my favorite. You probably won't see this because this video is a year old but I am so happy I came upon your channel!

Great sweaty practice! cool flow on strength and balance, transition is very interesting and challenging at times. love how many crows we did. i have a hard time getting into the balance of crow, but with revisits during this session, i got more chances and got a couple that im actually balanced which is a JOY! thanks for the practice, and the "love" of the hard poses

I was sweating too!! Glad you lit that inner fire🔥! And I think repeating poses is good bc you form that muscle memory better and get stronger and crow is usually only popped into once during class.

@@KateAmberYoga I guessed I over arched the leg to point I counter balanced and I had both hands anchored to the feet. To the point I lost balance on my right side leading to crashing. Doesn't stop me from continuing, I thought all the crows and the shoulder stand would do it. Nope! Looking forward to more leg days =p

thank you..... I have really enjoyed your practice. So far, maybe I done 40 or more of your online classes. For me, I am tall and from the video, I assume that you are tall. It seems that your poses and queuing is excellent for a tall body. I have never considered that there would be a difference in a yoga practice for shorter bodies or taller bodies. My psoas, hips and lower back are feeling so much better! Thank you for practice.
Wow thank you for practicing with me so often! I'm glad you liked this - and yes I am on the taller side. There are differences, but overall I feel like us tall folks need to stretch more for 2 reasons:
1. Because the world wasn't made for taller folks, we have to lower or sink in, even in little ways a lot more. (think the gas station, to hear people better, paying at any cash register)
2. Shorter people have a slight advantage over tall people when it comes to yoga because their extremities are closer to their mass, making balance easier. The muscles that need to be stretched are simply shorter.
Anyway, us taller folks gotta stick together. I'm glad you're here!

Absolutely it would recomp your body. What do you mean by shangrila or el dorado?
My favourite posture was down dog with hip circling, simple but I needed it)
Sometimes the simple moves hit the spot. 😌
Day 355 Kate I need to start doing longer classes. The heater was on 86 and the seat was dripping. I would say the chair I can get pretty deep in that pose. Thanks again for your great classes.
