Wow, thank you so much for your encouraging comment. Yes, I have been planning of a video about watering the plant but it's a little complicated because there are so many little things to consider like how and where it is planted, the changing weather conditions and location. But, basically, you can water Aloe vera without being afraid of overwatering as long as you use a well draining soil. Also, I consume my Aloe vera internally so I avoid using any pesticide or fertilizer.
@@TheAloeVeraGarden it’s surprising!!! So it’s all about the soil you prepare is it? Do you top up the soil to add in nutritions during the growth. It’s so true about watering. It’s winter and I lost few of the pups in a miraculous way. All I believe is to plant them in terracotta and not to water in order to prevent them from dying.🤷🏻♀️ compost alone holds more moist in it, other than river sand do you have any other suggestions?

I love watching your videos. I’m a newbie to propagating but I’ve had succulents for years. I just barely watered them, left them alone and…ta daaaaa!!! 😂 They’ve been thriving in the California heat (mostly on my porch, in light sunlight/some shade). But now I’m learning how to care for each of them, specifically.
I’m trying to figure out how to propagate this climbing aloe and I have a nice crown cut to plant but I’m torn. Please help.
Do I let it callous first or not?
And once it’s in the pot, do I water it right then or wait? Ugh. So confused. I’ve watched a bazillion conflicting videos online.

Yes you can layer your aloe vera using another way. I will make a video on that soon. Also, I always forget that banana peel, sorry. But, I will make that video too.

My aloe got blackish brown root above soil n lil fungus .. Winter here .leaves are healthy. I scratched root lil bit it's green under the black what to do 🥺

Hello! Thank you for the informative video! My aloe does rot from time to time always just one leaf I always remove it but theres always one that rots any way i can get rid of it? I always water when fully dry i do feel like it cause i have to much dirt and when i do water it the leaf sits in the wet soil and i think thats why it rots … am i right or is it root rot?

I had thrown a pup's little leaf with height smaller than my little finger in another pot to become manure it grew a pup. Henceforth now finally I believe that aloevera pups can grow from leaves even from another pup's leaves though when I had tried seeing UA-cam videos I failed to grow pups from leaves.

What variety of Aloe vera do you have? You should place it outdoor and give it lots of water during summer. Don't worry about it getting burn because it will recover very fast.

hahaha... I could make people believe that it grew from the leaf if I wanted to. I'll just have to remove the trunk carefully leaving the pups like they're attached to the leaves. But, this channel will lose its integrity if I'll do that.

So that's what happened what you showed us in your previous video. So when we try to grow it from leaf we just waste our time. Thanks a lot for sharing this. Ok let's see where I stand with my comment to that previous video. I commented: "c. The video is totally fake. (1) You didn't remove all soil , you just removed some portion. So I can't see what is really happening here. I think you are trying to hide something. (2) The bottom of big leaf should have an open front, but in your video it is closed like a ring. (3) Pups don't grow that fast in 10 days." SORRY, video was not fake. For (1) I was right, for (2) I was right, for (3) I was wrong.
Well, you got 2 out of 3 haha. I am glad that you are very observant because there are too many videos out there making false claims about Aloe vera. But, you are also correct in no. 3 because it really grew faster than usual after I removed the other leaf. Maybe because all the nutrients and energy went to the pups instead of the leaves.

Aloe vera is an outdoor plant. It can grow better and bigger outdoor. If you plant get burn, that is because you keep it indoor for a long time. Just keep it outdoor, don't worry if it gets burn because it will recover in a few weeks, like this video: ua-cam.com/video/MfEXyYZGpKg/v-deo.html
