One question Cecil, in the video about pasteurized AV gel you had 100g of gel and added 0.01g of ascorbic acid and here you said 99,9% gel, and 0.1% ascorbic acid, what is correct?
Dear, it is 100 grams aloe vera and 0.01 gram ascorbic acid. After a day of preparing it, the liquid will be as clear and transparent as water, and a very thin cloudy layer will settle at the bottom of the bottle. This is very normal You can either shake before you use or use just the clear transparent part. All depends on what you need the liquid for.
I've seen many videos on preserving aloe vera gel but this is the first one where heat is applied. Wouldn't the heat destroy the enzymes and healing benefits?
Is it mandatory to boil the aloe gel Can it use without ascorbic acid and without boil; that means from the leaf directly. And wat is the shelf life of this gel without boil and ascorbic acid. Pls reply

When heated if the temperature is below 60° celsius and heated for less than a minute, it should not be a problem.

How long did the aloe Vera bottle without absorbic acid last? Also, why did you boil/heat the aloe Vera gel?
It go oxidised after one week. I just kept it for research, and also to show it in this video. It is not useable.

If boiled above 60°celsius yes, it can loose its vitamins
@cecilvig the boiling point is 100°C, it won't boil below that point. While you heat the aloevera juice until boiled for 30 seconds.
