I did much the same when I grew orchids in Florida, USA except I used sulphur to coat the cut ends with much the same results. When my babies had roots such as yours, I would mount them to emulate their growing in the wild. I hope they, and yourself, keep growing and prosper.

I love all orchids since I was a child in Thailand - Bangkok.. My uncle had a corner 5 m2 in his garden and I helped him to water sometimes. Therefore I have some orchids indoor here. Orchids are one of my fav flowers. I used to go an Arboritum on Long Island. They had an orchid house. I spent so much time there looking at all of the different types. ❤

Just found your video and thank you for sharing!! I'm doing this right now as we speak in hopes of having the same results because I absolutely LOVE Orchids!!❤🥰 Btw here's a tip... You could burn a small candle in a jar and dip the ends of the stems in the melted wax, this was easier for me because I tend to be clumsy and hate getting burned lol!!🥰

Na górze pod filmem opisałam po szwedzku jak ja ukorzeniłam niechcący kawałek grubej łodygi orchidei, po prostu ucięty kawałek wsadzilam do doniczki z innym kwiatem i tyle. Ale to był taki gatunek, który miał dużo grubych łodyg, a większość orchidei ma liście u podstawy, przy ziemi i pęd kwiatowy jest cienki, wątpie czy się ukorzeni.

I have never tried with the candle, but it also works with rubbing onion or aloe vera on it. Just like with the ginger, I think it's mostly to prevent bacteriae or infections or mold getting in the stumps.

Я тоже продезинфицировала и воском залила, но почему то они желтеют, уже по череночку выбрасываю. Только я эпином мох замачивала, не знала про имбирь. Попробую конечно. Но ещё приобрела пасту цитокининовую, тоже попробую, читала что очень быстро вызывает рост деток из почки прям на материнском растении. 🤝👍🥰
Спасибо за ваш опыт! 😊 Использование воска для защиты - это хороший шаг, но иногда растения могут желтеть, если условия не совсем подходящие, например, избыточная влажность или слишком яркий свет. Если вы использовали Эпин для замачивания мха, это хороший способ стимулировать рост. Однако имбирь - это натуральный способ, который помогает растениям восстанавливаться и добавляет им жизненных сил. Что касается цитокининовой пасты, как вы правильно заметили, она быстро стимулирует рост деток, но важно использовать её аккуратно, чтобы не перегрузить основное растение. Hi, thanks so much for the update after the baby orchid growing root and leaves ! Now I know how to transfer them next 😊 but my have roots 1/4 inch and no leaves yet , only a tiny greenish. So may I know if too early put them to a bowl like your video at the end? So glad I found your videos and I will watch other ones soon

I've used cinnamon water in a similar way, but I will use ginger for orchids as you suggest, this will be my first time propagating orchids. You have a gift, thank you so very much for sharing! Orchids are one of my fav flowers. I used to go an Arboritum on Long Island. They had an orchid house. I spent so much time there looking at all of the different types. ❤

Btw here's a tip... You could burn a small candle in a jar and dip the ends of the stems in the melted wax, this was easier for me because I tend to be clumsy and hate getting burned lol!!🥰

Na górze pod filmem opisałam po szwedzku jak ja ukorzeniłam niechcący kawałek grubej łodygi orchidei, po prostu ucięty kawałek wsadzilam do doniczki z innym kwiatem i tyle. Ale to był taki gatunek, który miał dużo grubych łodyg, a większość orchidei ma liście u podstawy, przy ziemi i pęd kwiatowy jest cienki, wątpie czy się ukorzeni.

I have never tried with the candle, but it also works with rubbing onion or aloe vera on it. Just like with the ginger, I think it's mostly to prevent bacteriae or infections or mold getting in the stumps.

Я тоже продезинфицировала и воском залила, но почему то они желтеют, уже по череночку выбрасываю. Только я эпином мох замачивала, не знала про имбирь. Попробую конечно. Но ещё приобрела пасту цитокининовую, тоже попробую, читала что очень быстро вызывает рост деток из почки прям на материнском растении. 🤝👍🥰
Спасибо за ваш опыт! 😊 Использование воска для защиты - это хороший шаг, но иногда растения могут желтеть, если условия не совсем подходящие, например, избыточная влажность или слишком яркий свет. Если вы использовали Эпин для замачивания мха, это хороший способ стимулировать рост. Однако имбирь - это натуральный способ, который помогает растениям восстанавливаться и добавляет им жизненных сил. Что касается цитокининовой пасты, как вы правильно заметили, она быстро стимулирует рост деток, но важно использовать её аккуратно, чтобы не перегрузить основное растение. Hi, thanks so much for the update after the baby orchid growing root and leaves ! Now I know how to transfer them next 😊 but my have roots 1/4 inch and no leaves yet , only a tiny greenish. So may I know if too early put them to a bowl like your video at the end? So glad I found your videos and I will watch other ones soon
