      Maybe but i discovered that i had a lot of triggerpoints. I never massaged. I couldnt even do pushups with flat hands because both my wrists are fucked up. Then discovered that both my wrists didnt actually had pain but on my forearms there were two triggerpoints that i had with me for almost two years.
      I massaged it and only felt it when i push on it. It hurt like hell and it got a bit swollen for 2 days. The pain reduced to 80%. Now iv been massaging it for weeks and my right wrist is the same again. My left still needs some work but i found two other triggerpoints. No wonder my wrists were in pain.
      From that day i found triggerpoints in my triceps elbow. Front shoulders. Ass, hips and somewhere on the beg. Now all healed.
      After training massage your muscles right away. I use soapblock in the shower and massage all the muscles till it becomes red wich increasss bloodflow. And massage your triggerpoints 3 times a day.

      @amadeusk525 Рік тому +18

      Using handles is amazing, I feel so much more muscle activation with them. Even if they're a little off the ground (which would technically make them easier, since they're at a slight incline), it's still so much more effective than ground push ups

      It's doubtful. Knuckles on the carpet, pad, or maybe even the floor won't move and easily rotate the way pushup handles will, to work more of the muscles in arms and shoulders. The pushup handles I use have lubricated roller bearings in the base for smooth rotation, which is key. The brand is PushupPro, but there are several good brands.

Also, if you read about it, narrow/standard push-ups cause lots of elbow stress. While it is slightly harder to do, that is because you are only working a limited amount of muscles.

      keep your core and glutes tight so as to keep your body straight (think about it like you're holding a plank throughout the whole motion), squeeze your back muscles as you lower under control into the bottom position so as to stabilize the shoulder joint, then press up.
      other than that, you just need to get experience and try different things until you find what works for you. there's no one right way to do it.

      Still, this push up form has some merits to it, since shoulder is more prone to dislocation when loaded like in an open chest push up.
      Then again, that is only the case if you are a bboy or gymnast that lands on the bar from 3 metres of drop. If your shoulder hurt from doing open push up, it is just because you didn't stretch that part...

    Most exercises are "don't do these 10 things" so when it comes time to doing them there are too many things to make sure you're not doing that you end up doing it all wrong.
    For example, for squats, don't let your knees go past your toes, keep your back straight, push with your whole foot instead of heel or ball, push out with hip thrust on the incline and squeeze the glutes. So now tell me, how do you keep a track of all those to make sure doing it correctly?

    • @aca792.
      @aca792. 2 роки тому +1

      That's a valid reason for concern, however, the way you should approach such exercises is to improve your technique step by step. By that I mean, for example, pay attention to your knees and toes first (and also if you can, keeping your back straight), and once you've mastered that without even needing to pay attention, you can move on to the next step or two. This way, your technique will progressively get better and in the end you will be able to perform the exercise with near perfect form without much trouble. Hope this helps.

      keep training push ups, do a lot of isometrics and try some negative push ups too. You can also start training with easier variations like inclined push ups on a wall, then move on with one arm. After that you can try push ups on the floor but helping yourself with your knees instead with the tip of your toes. Once you do all of those variations you will have to try normal push ups! Go for it man, I trust in you.
