The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms. This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2011-14 Chrysler 200.

Thank you for the very helpful video. You clearly explained each step as you went. I noted your care to count the number of turns to remove the outer tie rod. Good tip. Without the proper tools this job would be difficult, if not impossible. I may make the decision to have my inner tie rod ends replaced at the dealership.
The tool can be rented or purchased for a fair price compared to what the dealership would charge.
this guy is a blessing omg you are a true angel for doing this thank u so much

Hello I have question my 2013 Chrysler 200 6.3 L I notice the tires keep wearing out quickly I jacked the car and hole moly the tire moving left and right with the tie rod ( the whole inner tie rod and outer tie rod ) moving is it my rack and pinion going bad there is no leak
You need to come do this on my Dodge Avenger stock car, I was racing my other car and a friend asked if I would let a friend of his race my Avenger, they said he was a really good driver with lots of racing experience, he got a lap and a half in when he got caught up in a massive wreck, I got my car back minus the front bumper cover and drivers fender (I had just put a new fender on it from my last race) and it had a broken drivers lower control arm and bent tie rod ends, I was doing really good when we stopped to reset the field when I looked over and saw my Avenger all banged up , I was hoping he would have been able to give me feedback on my setup cause last time I raced the Avenger it had a ton of understeer and was tight in the corners and we had made some changes but we didn't get to find out if we made changes that helped us out or not.
Is the plastic spacer necessary? Mine was brittle and broke, cant find it anywhere.
