Thanks for not editing out the part you weren’t happy with - where the stamp of the word Scraps didn’t turn out the way you had planned. I find it really helpful to see that even people who are really talented have moments where they aren’t thrilled with their projects. Also, it’s really helpful to see how you move through that - not letting it freeze up your creative process. I tend to hesitate to try things because I’m afraid I’ll “mess up” my project. I know in my head that mistakes are ok and inevitable and opportunities to try something else, but it still helps to see others work through the process.

I couldn't have said it better! I was just about to write this and you already did! Yes, I'm just learning this skill and the times we don't get it right are the times we improvise, or change things. If we wanted it perfect, we'd buy it machine made. This is the juicy part. Thank you for highlighting a critical part of this whole thing as far as I'm concerned. Beautiful video -- I learned so much!

Love and enjoy your videos so much. This sweet project is perfect for when I want to make something simple without having to get a bunch of supplies out. I have some old tobacco tins I want to use. I will be on the lookout for a little wooden box or something to hold a stack of tins so they are a little bit contained rather than easy to knock over.

Even though I do like all tins, especially ones that have brands and pictures of what is inside the tin (mints, ointment etc) especially the vintage ones. I would only decorate/label those new one's with no marking on it, like that silver one you decorated. Great video as always 👍🥰

I love these tins and how you're decorating them.
I made some for my granddaughter and her children for Christmas 2018 and then moved and couldn't remember where they were. After going to storage after Christmas 2019, I found them. I'll have to hold on to them till another occasion comes up. The twins have a birthday soon.
I'm happy to have multiple stores within 5 miles or so of me where I can get my craft supplies. Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joanns and a few scrappingbooking stores in the malls. I've ordered online before, but the postage is outrageous and I don't have to wait if I shop locally. My granddaughter has a huge tablet full of Christmas theme papers that is 4 or 5 times larger that the pad I just got from Etsy. The price marked in it is $19.95. The cost of the Stamperia paper pad and the postage for my 1 pad was just over $19.00. I'm shopping lovely first before I order anything on line ever again.

These turned out beautifully. I like taking cheap pill box tins and redecorating them. I find the easiest way to cover the silver edges is to glue on narrow braid or gimp trim - even narrow cotton lace looks good. Keep on creating! I am enjoying exploring your channel.
