    I've been making mini watercolor travel kits out of almonds boxes. I love these decorating ideas.

    Love this tutorial...thanks for sharing. I think this technique will work well on other small boxes such as ones jewelry comes in. Excited to give it a try since I have all of the supplies.

    I had no idea this is so easy to do and the results are gorgeous. You also inspired me with the postage stamps. I have some old philatelic materials I won't part with because I am convinced they are good for something and this project demonstrated how to incorporate them in crafting. Thank you!

      Catherine L thanks Catherine. Yes, it’s very easy. I enjoy breaking down the mystique of pretty things and figuring out how to make it easy. 🤓

    This is absolutely gorgeous! You gave me an idea of what to do with some of my photos of Italy and Greece that I have (I used them a lot to make book marks) and use the tins to store earrings (small ones that I also make). All I need now is washi tape, which I have none. Thanks for your wonderful video!

    Awesome!! I have several Altoids tins that I began saving after I became aware of making little kits out of them. I even have some old Band-Aid tins that I hung on to when I realized everything was switching over to cardboard boxes.
    So all this time, I've been thinking of what I would put INSIDE of them, never giving thought to decorating the OUTSIDE.
    Thank you!

    I love this! Just saw your video...I know I’m a bit late to the party. Some people go all out with their tins. They are next level creatives but for a beginner like myself this gives me a great base to build upon. Thank you for sharing!

    Thank you for this tutorial! I love the red altoid tin. What did you use to distress this one? It doesn't look like you used washi, but maybe used a paint wash over the whole lid? Thanks for any help you can give with this one. Merry Christmas, to you!

      Than you. It has a layer of clear mod podge and a light spraying of Tim Hultz distressed spray stain. Merry Christmas!

    Thanks for this - it gets me started. How did you make the lid cover that's in the shape of the Altoids "banner frame"? By pressing a piece of paper on it to get the imprint?

    • @PaperTamsMedia
      @PaperTamsMedia  5 років тому

      Lark in TN yes. I just cut the paper to size and use a corner rounder. Then I mod podge it to the lid. Thanks for taking the time to watch.

    • @LarkOnWheels
      @LarkOnWheels 5 років тому

      Oh, I meant the one where the paper was cut to match the irregular frame on the lid. Didn’t I see one like that?

    • @LarkOnWheels
      @LarkOnWheels 5 років тому

      Yes, the Christmas tin lid is specially cut

    • @LarkOnWheels
      @LarkOnWheels 5 років тому

      Oh wait - maybe you cut the paper just slightly smaller than the frame.
