WALKING: Downtown Hood River, Oregon - Scenic Columbia River Gorge

Hello, and welcome back for another beautiful walk with us! On today's itwinerary we are exploring the downtown area of Hood River, Oregon. Let's go!
"Hood River is at the confluence of the Hood River and the Columbia River in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. The city is about 30 miles (48 km) north of Mount Hood, the tallest peak in the state. It is across the Columbia River from White Salmon, Washington. South of the city is the Hood River Valley, known for its production of apples, pears, and cherries....

Nice tour of downtown Hood River, although as someone who lives in the Hood River Valley (Odell) I would point out that about half of the town is on the hillside that leads down to the river and there is a good section of town at the top of the hill called the Heights which is also quite nice and worth exploring
