Just an interesting aside; the Capitol, state office buildings and the university buildings, as are many homes in the East End of Boise, are heated by geothermal hot water from under ground.

Having experienced both Oregon and Oregon State up close and personal, which campus would you rate the most aesthetically appealing? Thank you for your time, and keep the great videos coming!

Great question! Both campuses are unique and have a lot to offer. If we're talking about campus only I find the University of Oregon more visually appealing, the architecture of the halls, the track stadium, and the Knight arena, and Autzen Football Stadium also add a lot of appeal as well as the overall layout and common areas of the campus. However I enjoy the downtown area of Corvallis surrounding Oregon State more. There are more unique shops and restaurants and just a more unique, quaint vibe. Thanks for watching!

People says Seattle bad and people aren't friendly you have what more than 100,000 people come to Friday harbor wa this would take number one of the most lonelyest places on the planet Hawaii however is actually cool from what I heard because they have strip clubs there's no adult entertainment in fh and it's drug related entertainment it's not the same anymore

I would really like to spend retirement in Florence because althoiugh it rains alot, they have temperature in the mid 60's in August and I love cool temperatures and also no snow in the winters which are very mild near the coast. The last 2 months where I live on the east coast have been in the mid and upper 90's with high humidity . Where I live there are only around 3 or 4 months in a year when the weather is nice. The rest of the year is either too freezing or too hot.

just kind of expected more people to be walking around. I guess its off season for the college. Is it early morning or late afternoon? I wanted to see what Pittsburgh people looked like. Wanted to see more shops. I guess I am used to bigger cities. Though, smaller cities are more quiet, less crowded.

  • @lukeyznaga7627

nice walk. but man, not a lot of people walking. probably because the Metro of trains and buses is limited and not like New York city. with the new NCAA rules, the football team of Pitt will be sorley diminished. Pitt can't afford to pay their players like Southern Cal or Alabama can , nor Ohio State. But the town still has some good conventions like STeel City Con. It also has good sports teams.....except for the Pirates. But I like some of the shopps and architecture of Forbes Avenue. I will have to visit Pittsburgh.

HONEYMAN CAMPGROUND-a few miles south of town. You can swim and paddleboat next door at warm freshwater Cleaowax Lake and may even enjoy going dune buggy riding near by--at Adventure Sports... or some other dune buggy venture. Unfortunately, moving to liberal Eugene, offers very little recreation, except for the Olympic Trials, unless you are a bicycler who can cycle to Florence on week-ends to get FAR AWAY from Eugene as possible. That's the truth. The left coast --including Eugen and Portalnd, s not the safest or best place to raise children today- as it was 50 years ago. Advice from a H.S. and College Grad from Oregon. Get out while you can.

First of all, Florence does NOT overlook the ocean... but there is a bay on the north side of the drawbridge. AND secondly, it was built on the Si-YOU-slaw River. The OLD TOWN did not have any of the BOARDWALK or most of what you see there today. It was not mostly restaurants as it is today but there was one auto garage, pool hall, theater, a bait shop, a few boats moored at the Siuslaw River dock that moved with the rise and fall of the tide. Today, as you have shown in your video, it has been made into a lovely tourist spot with ample restaurants to satisfy hungry passers-by. however, the best part of the area for those who want to stay a while and camp out, is HONEYMAN CAMPGROUND--a few miles south of town. College kids are the easiest people to manipulate into mindlessly rambling what they're conditioned to think about. They know nothing. Nice town though, although the dreary gray of the Capitol building seems very Bolshevik to me. Gray and dreary, like the attitudes of the youngsters there. The trees are beautiful. I may just live there. It's better than Iowa setting wise, yet as backwards as Kansas with the mentality, at least among the young and the witless. They need more true color and diversity there in Salem. The Capitol building should shine with the colors of the beautiful St. Basil's cathedral in Moscow, instead of the hideous gray it wears now. The trees and the sky make up for what the city lacks though and that's all I need in life. That and the fact this state is top ten in the least amount of them black folk. Funny thing about the abortion an anti abortion group is they never think about the process to get to the pregnancy and having sex with someone they care deeply for. They have friends with benefits, so it makes sense they'd put the same effort into being pregnant that they do with their relationships :D The other side doesn't understand idiots should not procreate and its a service for them to not become moms. I'm with the chanting Bolsheviks, though they wouldn't like my reasoning.

I loved your video THANK YOU for to make it. I never though Salt Lake city is so nice as it is/was on this video. and the BUILDING were VERY BEAUTIFUL. a bit more simplyfied than some of out buildings here in Europe but it is newer aged architecture and as such it is really Nice and even Beautiful some are Stanning . Is is a style between our old and VERY new . SO it is a slightly modest variation of the artitacture. Please NOTE I talking about a STYLE of the buildings from around the world and not about the NATIONS or CONTINENS,. The buildings are always reflecting back the nations development in general through out the thousand of years of history. I also loved that you planted trees on the both side of these - I would call avenues - rather than streets. Really injoyed every corner and house of this city as it showed. TRUELLY IS NICE and WANDERFULLY KEPT. The people is looked very lovely matured manered and most of all civilized as it shows well how well kept everything is. I subscirbed at once and I thanking for to showing us in a nice civilized way so we could enjoy to see all the beautiful buildings ( sweet old historic cotage to the Grand Beau of that huge white building looked liked with two tower ) and all the different age of the buildings style,..!

I was there about six years ago, I attended a wedding of my friend. I stayed close to the airport. It's a really nice city and the people are very nice and friendly. I took the train to go downtown, and went to the indoor mall, I really enjoyed it even the airport was nice. I think salt lake city is really clean and safe because of the mormon influenced, I can fit in there because I dont smoke drink or party at all, I always wanna move there.
