@1:54:30 My old apartment building, the Banff, which I lived in for 14 years. In 2002 it almost burned down, but that lead it to be renovated from being fairly rundown to its current spruced-up state. It used to be painted grey then but got the red (and better color) paint scheme after the reno. It's one of the very few old buildings left in the area, with a couple of more just down the street from it and one a few blocks down on Georgia that the walker passed by.

@vivansh don’t worry, there are lots of nice, welcoming people in Vancouver. People aren’t as receptive to meeting strangers though so it can be hard at first. Try joining clubs or volunteering and meet people organically and you will do great! Good luck on your studies!

@@Christoph877 Well, I think no matter where a person goes there's always going to be rough patches in any city. The pandemic has probably exacerbated certain issues, I don't live downtown so can't speak to that part, but even before the pandemic there were certain areas which weren't recommended for anyone to walk about!
@@Christoph877 geographically Vancouver is beautiful, city-wise not so much. Lots of run-down places with crumbling infrastructure and homeless people. Still a great visit for tourists

This is a very beautiful city. I like their colors. The light green, light blue and royal blue. Great idea, it makes the city very attractive to look at otherwise these modern buildings could get very boring to look at. The Canadian trail and the ships beautiful. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for your hard work in shooting Vancouver in midsummer. I wonder if you are considering recording the four seasons of Vancouver? In summer, the ocean brings cold air from the Arctic, which makes Vancouver's climate dry; in winter, the ocean brings warm and humid air from the equator, which makes Vancouver warm and rainy. The four seasons of Vancouver are pleasant; the city is full of flowers in spring, dry and sunny in summer, colorful maple leaves in autumn, snow is not lacking in winter, and there are evergreen trees everywhere, making Vancouver one of the best cities in the world to live in.

Hey Dave, i was in Rome all day today and heading back tomorrow. I'll be filming a bike ride of the Appian Way and filming a tour of the Colosseum. I was surprised to see so many people there today. It was a nice day. I'll be going to Hadrian's Villa next. I hope things are getting back to normal there in Toronto.
@@ProWalks Hi Isaac, yes I have seen on the news how so many locals are lining up to enjoy their attractions without the crowds of tourists which is a good thing, but I can't wait to visit Italy again, the Appian way is next on my list, looking forward to see the Colosseum tour and Hadrian 'villa, here we still have restrictions, hoping to get back to normal at some point.

Super boring, bland place to live. Take away the mountains and water and you have Calgary. The "beautiful" part of Van everybody talks about is a very, very small area... the west end, north shore (north and west Van)... that's the true Van. Outside of that it's just suburbs and strip malls of any small back water city. They also think they're a foodie town ... which is hilarious, unless you like deep fried brew pubs... and about 7 what would be consider good international quality restaurants. I'd say pass on moving...

I live in Wisconsin, but had friends in Seattle to visit and stay with and we drove up to this great city. My favorite thing was Grouse Mountain, the trolley up 3,000 feet to the restaurant. Awesome time!
