Steve, I wish you would do a sit down video in your office with an order/spec sheet and walk us through the ordering process. Talk about the options and why one would (or would not) want certain options.
Peterbilt Steve when you do it, maybe you could talk about credit scores needed Vs. down payments Vs. interest rates. That's my biggest hold up right now. I'm getting my credit score up and saving up cash. I'm close to 100K now but I want to keep some in the bank while we learn the O/O ropes.
I love it. When I get my money I'm ordering this truck but with a longer sleeper cab from front to back, a 2 feet longer and with windows in the both bedside doors. I love it.
Its a very nice classic truck, good spec, not to shine, but all the trucker needs. The only thing is what that flat sleeper, can not stand up and stretch the body, the option is to sit or roll over straight to bed.
Steve, If possible in future vids, could you please explain the different APU and Inverter options that are available for these trucks. Thanks again for sharing another great build.
I am a big fan with the full fenders. Is there a way to have some kind of ramp. So driver can not break the fenders when a trailer a little low? Also since there is pin lights on the sides. Can pin lights also be put into visor. So they match the rest of the truck?
Looks really good, definitely no “hot rod” though, 565hp with that gearing ain’t gonna be nothing but a mirror speck after a real “hot rod” gets into the high side.
how much does something like this cost? Im looking to pick up a peter and start doing my own work to it but later have someone do the rest Just looking for a ball park guess with airride suspension so i can lower it for low ride
There was a time when you could, not sure anymore. You could just re-skin the door and the trim panel on the inside if the option is no longer available. I went back and looked at the passenger door on this truck, that window is huge compared to a 379.
There is no point to these extended stupid long chassis, they don't do anything for load capacity and just increase the turning circle of the truck, uesless.
That sure sounds like a jealous comment. The long wheelbase rides much better. If pulling a flat bed you can overhang long loads over the front. Many more reasons too. Learn before you criticize....

i have had that planned for quite some time, i should just get with it....

Yes this would truly help us with buying process!
Excellent idea , might be in the market by year end . Steve your the first guy I’m gonna hit up !
Do you ever offer the single round headlights? Or is that not available?
Peterbilt Steve. Making trucker's dreams a reality. Did it again my man! Hands down the best factory spect with some custom love in the world.
Thanks buddy!
Those style fenders are the nicest, always had polished stainless on my stuff, that color really finishes it.
good stuff!
That color with the polished and clear lenses looks fantastic. such a beauty. can imagine it with a shiny mac trailer. 😍
A big new Perterbilt with a shiny new mac wagon
Would be awesome
The look over that hood sells these trucks as much as anything
Yes sir
Peterbilt Steve I got to hand it to you Steve... you got an eye for detail and great execution putting these together....best in the country imho
I love it. When I get my money I'm ordering this truck but with a longer sleeper cab from front to back, a 2 feet longer and with windows in the both bedside doors. I love it.
thanks Omar
Peterbilt Steve Yer Welkum, Steve.
You do those trucks so well and they still make you put those goofy rush emblems on
Mr Rush makes this all possible, I'm proud to have them on there.

Very nice. I like the color scheme.
Thanks so much!
Steve, If possible in future vids, could you please explain the different APU and Inverter options that are available for these trucks. Thanks again for sharing another great build.
There are a million inverter options and the only APU i would run is a Thermoking
Nicest one you have done so far!!!
Thank you sir!
👍 Beautiful truck Steve, great job!
thanks buddy
Beautiful peterbilt i really like the blue paint
Man you have some nice trucks, maybe one day.
Goals all start somewhere...
If I was a trucker I would want one just like that identical to that 1.
Great taste!
Love the interior color!!!
Thanks!
Looks good...should have painted the visor the same color of the truck.
he didnt want that
👍
Life is Good. Big fan of your channel
They dont get any better than Life is Good!
Such a beautiful truck
Come on!
Whats going on with the mandatory electronic logs next year? I would hate to drill holes into that dash.
Phantom I'm not sure but I think you can run the E.C.M. wires under the dash and leave the unit (kind of) loose.
You can along it hooked to ecm
Bluetooth unit will plug into data port under dash and use your phone or tablet for logging.
December 18 is this year
Bruce is one lucky man!!
Peterbilt Steve what’s the difference between car hauler Front axle and I guess the regular one?
The ride height
Ravi Singh should be less space between fender&Tire. Sit lower

yes yes and yes
Looks really good, definitely no “hot rod” though, 565hp with that gearing ain’t gonna be nothing but a mirror speck after a real “hot rod” gets into the high side.
Wow now that’s a nice truck the only thing i would do different is have polished tanks not painted preference other than that bang on!
how much does something like this cost? Im looking to pick up a peter and start doing my own work to it but later have someone do the rest Just looking for a ball park guess with airride suspension so i can lower it for low ride
175ish
@@SteveCarbone Time to save up for the extra costs! Thanks
That's so nice I would hate to put grease on the fifth wheel. Can you order a 2018 with DEF delete or is it mandatory?
no such thing as DEF delete
What is the longest a finance company will finance a new truck for?
72 months
I for one am a fan of body color chicken lights
me too!
Man you do very nice work
Thanks Gil
Beautiful truck!!
thanks buddy
Did you get tazed yet? Peterbiults are all mine. Meaning my personal trucks. Same with kenworth and Benz.
.....wha
Very well done.
Thank you
When can u straight pipe a truck? 😐😶
Hopefully NEVER, while they might look cool, they SUCK. Especially when they park next to you.
New truck are real quiet I have straight pipes and the engine brake is really good and quiet
Love that color
thanks aaron
Cool truck
Thanks
really nice blue
agreed
Add tank heaters thats one thing Rush forgets about I guess they don't think the truck will ever see 20 below in wisconsin
less than 10% of the trucks I sell ask for tank heaters so no reason to burden the other 90% with a cost and option they will never need.
I pull a step deck, could you color match a headache rack with the truck?
no problem
Nice 👌
Nice truck!
thanks
nice. sweet rig.
Thanks
What kind of time frame does it take to get a truck like that with the extra paint and installing the accessories?
I have them in stock, a week to finish it up
Sweet
thanks
Steve my question is, can they custom build it with a longer cab, a bed that is double the present size and TV? Plus windows in the bed side doors?
if you got the money honey...
Thanks much..
Steve do you have one with a 6nz cat engine? Viper Blue or Legendary Blue?
No Cats since 2012
U R killing me. Have you a date for when the 19s will hit your lot? I know it's in January.
Mid January is the rumor
Can you order these without that window in the bottom of the passenger door?
There was a time when you could, not sure anymore. You could just re-skin the door and the trim panel on the inside if the option is no longer available. I went back and looked at the passenger door on this truck, that window is huge compared to a 379.
the window is the only way yu can get one but you can change the door skin
When did they quit giving the option to not have the window?
Its been a handful of years, its all from a lawsuit surprise surprise....
Perfect
close for sure
So I was told 2018 is the last year they are making the long nose pete's.Is that true?
Victoria Peterson nope 389 still in production I asked my dealer the same thing
cool thanks!
As long as there're buyers, they will build them... That's Peterbilt Flagship...
389s are over 30 percent of the Peterbilt production, not going anywhere....
WOW!
how much would a truck like this run?
170ish
Do you sell a lot of 567s'? I haven't seen a video on one in a while. Wondering if you keep any in stock.
only sold 2 in 3 years, just not something we concentrate on
She would look good pulling a bull wagon
I am waiting for a truck that has the same options ,but pop the hood and SUPRISE only a 435 cummins with a 10 speed! (just as a joke of course!)
it would be very inexpensive!
Can you get those same lights in the 20" bumpers?
yes
Why wasn't the Def tank painted ? Beautiful color
Wasnt asked to do that....
clean!!!
Yes!
Damn
yup
How do we see ur inventory
rushtulsa.com

How much
170ish
K
