Now this was my dream truck. The only thing that would have made it better, was if you could still get it with a big ole Kitty cat, you have always got great inventory guys, keep em coming. 👍👍👍
+Peterbilt Steve are you able to put different engine to make elog exempt?? and 8" stacks big front bumper, fridge and front air suspension this would be perfect lol
Very nice before i retired i got to drive a pete for about a month.,if i knew it drove so good i would have took that brand new 97 badnews got for me but i was stuck on that penthouse freightshaker.
and yeah having the insert on the front half is way nicer than making a buck board out of a nice new truck I'd bet my last paycheck it rolls real nice.....good and smooth
Peterbilt Steve,,, not knocking ANY OF THE CUSTOM WRK Ur crew does!!!!! It's AWESOMENESS!!!!! I just was answering questions a few asked about KW!!!! BOTH are AWESOME RIDES,,, just goes 2 ones PREFERENCE!!!!!😎😎😎😎👍👌✌
Had a CAT C16 in one of the Petes I drove for a coupla years...the 650HP...the sound that came out off them pipes especially when the Jakes are engaged...the chromes on the Pete...AMAZING...
30 Years in a truck ,I've had a 72 in 06 w900 and a 05 379x Pete..both were good trucks ..i currently drive 2010 t2000 with 1.5 million miles on it and no truck payment ...i wasn't going to buy another truck cause I hate truck payments but wow!! This Pete with the new Cummings and disc brakes and air ride front axle has got me thinking!! I think if I had this truck ,my wife would kill me cause I'd never come home ..im set to retire on some land in WY but will still work 6 mos out of the year ,I can do this new truck if the payments will be around 2600 $ a month ,I'm guessing this is a 185,000 $ truck and with my trade in ,it would be possible to do a 7 year loan at 2800 $ a month ..man that's steep and is alot of money !!!
Peterbilt Steve add a generator (EPU) , extended warrantys, Step box's to the cat walk ,etc. I think it would be closer to my estimate...a beautiful truck none the less ! Thanks for the Vidio, UA-cam is a great sales tool ! It defanantly got my attention..i will subscribe to your channel ,really got me thinking about getting out of this t2000 I'm driving now ...i really like the air air front end ,id love to see how it rides !
Beautiful truck Steve. Think you can help me convince the state that this CAN be used as a non commercial daily driver personal use vehicle? Lol When I saw it my first thought was whomever was doing fueling/deckplates that shift was where is the deckplate(s) for this? as they aren't on the rack and probably looked at the build sheet on the computer twice to make sure they didn't miss something.
I used to work at the plant, and have seen the one you are talking about. It was a joke to Steve. It can be done but the hassles, aggravations, and costs make it very prohibitive. Once you get by the DMV, you still have to deal with the insurance company on why you need such an expensive daily driver capable of handing out the kind of claims payments they really dont want to pay in the first place on non commercial policies. I`d imagine there would be a small but significant enough of a customer base for a personal non commercial Class 8 if it wasnt for the EPA & Insurance Companies
Have you guys tried those new greaseless fifth wheels, that are they look aluminum with the clutch like fabric on the fifth wheel it looks nice and you don't have grease laying everywhere.
+Peterbilt Steve Love your trucks and I have always been a W900L fan! But I have owned one peterbilt and that thing cost me a lot of money. Nothing to bad just bad wiring issues. That very truck after I sold it caught on fire and burned up the dash and they re-done it and it is still running. I have saw a lot more of them burned so is this still a problem for them or what is the deal?
Well thanks for answering back Steve. Wasn't trying to be a smart butt was just asking but they are all over the internet. The only reason I ever notice them is because of the one I owned doing right after it was sold.
A lot of the fires are caused by people putting big radios, no, or not enough Ground wire, and rubber grommets thru the holes they drill in the cab, or double grounding adds more resistance, or just butcher the wiring... which causes most of all truck fires... If its not wired by a professional, or weather proofed you will have problems...
Man where are you located? This is truly a truck of my dreams, same specs and everything. Only thing I wonder is do you have different options for engine? Or everything just all Cummins?
Those drop down lights are tuff. Could they be wired from the shop to be used as a supplemental turn indicator? Trailer kit would be cool also. Just wondering. Best!
It should have gone with full Real gauges and rubber floor mats. Rose wood on the sleeper control panel too. For the rest you got a 💯. Need a bumper with the 2 fog lights holes
Ok.. man you probably if not have the best looking trucks I have ever seen brother. I'm new to this world and going to A.I.T. CDL school here in Phoenix Arizona and graduate in 18 weeks total at 4 hour classes 10 weeks in class and 8 weeks on the road. My plans to be a Owner operator and would love to own one of your trucks. Just have no idea what the cost like this one here. Keep it up man. Reasons like this make me want to drive a big rig..
So I would like to get something like this but how much would it cost to get all of the chrome trim monster energy green including the wheels everything
I know you won’t answer, but I’m gonna give it a try. A buddy of mine bought a badass truck from y’all awhile back, and he said y’all are AWESOME!!!! I was wondering if y’all can help me get into a truck used or new with my income tax return. Hoping to here from someone. Please let me know something or if y’all can help me. TIA
why would you have a bolted together frame when there going to shake loose I have seen this before, Huck bolts are the way to go. iv been doing this for almost 30 years.
I will say... I like the way you set up trucks for the most part... but too bad you don't also offer Kenworth W900's. Through my research, I have become a Kenworth fan, not to mention a buddy of mine who's been trucking for 30+ years and has ran many trucks and he decided to go with KW many years ago and never looked back. I also like that KW sits up higher than the Pete's.
I just called KW and they told me they are absolutely NOT discontinuing the W900! He said straight out if they were to do that, KW would probably go out of business. I also asked him about the engine and that I was thinking of doing a glider. He said the new X15 Paccar motors are tuned in and guys have not been having any issues with pollution control and really wouldn't need to do a glider. I know they will say this by default, but I can tell in his voice that he sounded like he's telling the truth. I'm going to research that more... but the guy I spoke with said ->Passionately NO WAY are they discontinuing the W900! He DID say they discontinued the 660. Also, in my research... KW holds their value much better than Pete's do!
Just wondering if you still have this truck working on my credit score right now so if you still have his truck can you let me know if not can you build me one just like it
To me double framing some ares and not others is ridiculous. The nondouble would be like a weak link on a chain. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I knew it would look sharp out in the sun. Love them hidden lights and of course the 300" W. B. Thank you again Steve.
Thanks so much RP
Beautiful truck, the flake in the paint pops. Saw it on your Facebook page looks killer with the lights.
Thanks so much
Now this was my dream truck. The only thing that would have made it better, was if you could still get it with a big ole Kitty cat, you have always got great inventory guys, keep em coming. 👍👍👍

Brett Booker no doubt about it. IMO, he DEFINITELY sets the standard!

+Peterbilt Steve are you able to put different engine to make elog exempt?? and 8" stacks big front bumper, fridge and front air suspension this would be perfect lol
All this rig needs is the menacing bull bar mounted on the front. It would look like something out of “Mad Max”
agreed
Your trucks never disappoint.

I understand
You can with a Glider KIt... Cat, Cummins, Detroit... New Truck, no BS emissions.. Just can't legally run it in CA...
zafar yusupov I agree. Cats are the best in my book
Had a CAT C16 in one of the Petes I drove for a coupla years...the 650HP...the sound that came out off them pipes especially when the Jakes are engaged...the chromes on the Pete...AMAZING...
Beautiful Steve, First class. 👍
Thanks so much

6 years would be in the 2600 range
Peterbilt Steve add a generator (EPU) , extended warrantys,

I'm wanting one close to this. God how I wish I could. It'd be my 7th truck over 25 years so it'll need to be perfect and the last one ever.
Awesome video's. Everytime I watch one I wan buy it so keep it up.

I believe it brother.. Thank you you give me a good reason to set a goal in mind
#goals
Beautiful Truck. I love Petes.
Thanks
Nice work bro!!!! Very nice a clean!!!
Thanks for the comment and thank you for watching!
You’re welcome! It’s hard to find people that take pride in their work! When I get ready to buy a truck, I know who I’ll call!!!!
Beautiful truck Steve. Think you can help me convince the state that this CAN be used as a non commercial daily driver personal use vehicle? Lol, that sure would be a financial commitment!
Peterbilt Steve yeah but think of it more as the "cool factor". Steve McQueen would've been impressed! Lol
Another great build
Thanks so much
Beautiful truck !!!! Not a fan of disc brakes, but overall nicely done ! 👍
why not a fan
Peterbilt Steve very expensive and will not hold long until a new set .
Hi !! Steve Love your Channel Great Selections Great Job 😊🖒👍
Thank you!!
Do you do custom trucks for O/O out of the north west that haul 105,500 .looking into getting something .
I do quite a few for that set up, plenty of 13,500 tag axles....
Why did the double frame start under the cab and go toward the front when the weight of the your haul is to the rear?
Have you guys tried those new greaseless fifth wheels, that are they look aluminum with the clutch like fabric on the fifth wheel it looks nice and you don't have grease laying everywhere.
How much is this truck going for ?
I want one just like this with a few other things on it
165k
She's the one beautiful truck
Thanks!
God damn that's a nice truck.
Thanks
Sweet Ride Man!! Good job 👍👍👍
Thanks Wes, I love these trucks
+Peterbilt Steve Love your trucks and I have always been a W900L fan! But I have owned one peterbilt and that thing cost me a lot of money. Nothing to bad just bad wiring issues. That very truck after I sold it caught on fire and burned up the dash and they re-done it and it is still running. I have saw a lot more of them burned so is this still a problem for them or what is the deal?
I have not seen an electrical fire on a Pete since 2000
Well thanks for answering back Steve. Wasn't trying to be a smart butt was just asking but they are all over the internet. The only reason I ever notice them is because of the one I owned doing right after it was sold.
No worries, I know it happens. Its just not as common as some people think and 95% of the fires are due to faulty wiring installed after it was new.
Tulsa, PACCAR or Cummins power options
Those drop down lights are tuff. Could they be wired from the shop to be used as a supplemental turn indicator? Trailer kit would be cool also. Just wondering. Best!
Yes, all of that is very possible
Happy ATS driving! LOL! That's what I do...
If someone really wanted to go crazy on the lights is it possible to have the underlights shown here in addition to the "normal" lights on the panels?
Sure could
nice. awesome rig.
Thanks so much
That is So nice!
thanks Fred
So what would it cost to get the chrome blacked
Powder coat and labor roughly 5k
It should have gone with full Real gauges and rubber floor mats. Rose wood on the sleeper control panel too. For the rest you got a 💯. Need a bumper with the 2 fog lights holes
right on
I heard they are going to get rid of the fet tax how much will that knock of the price of the truck
Ok.. man you probably if not have the best looking trucks I have ever seen brother. I'm new to this world and going to A.I.T. CDL school here in Phoenix Arizona and graduate in 18 weeks total at 4 hour classes 10 weeks in class and 8 weeks on the road. Good luck! A rig like this is in the 170k range

So I would like to get something like this but how much would it cost to get all of the chrome trim monster energy green including the wheels everything
Do you have an option for color match dash panel instead of Rosewood Dash panel? If so how much extra?
Yes, around 1500-1700
Does that include the door inserts?
I know you won’t answer, but I’m gonna give it a try. A buddy of mine bought a badass truck from y’all awhile back, and he said y’all are AWESOME!!!! I was wondering if y’all can help me get into a truck used or new with my income tax return. Hoping to here from someone. Please let me know something or if y’all can help me. TIA
I think I talked to you on FB messenger.....
Steve what do think is better for resale, cabinets in sleeper or upper bunk?
Probably cabinets on a truck of this caliber
Ok thank you.
why would you have a bolted together frame when there going to shake loose I have seen this before, Huck bolts are the way to go. iv been doing this for almost 30 years.
can someone educate me on this ..i didnt know there were a all disc brakes available on semi's
They have been an option for a few years, I put them on 90% of what I build
Peterbilt Steve ..hmmm interesting ..thank you
I was leaning toward a w900 but I might have to look at 1 of these what's the price
montay87ify

Scotty Collins that's right
Yes Sirr!!! Yezz-n-deed!!!!
montay87ify this is super nice but w900 is the king of trucks

6.2-6..5
How much does this truck weigh
I will say... I like the way you set up trucks for the most part... but too bad you don't also offer Kenworth W900's. Not true!! KW now has a W990 model. KW never had any intention to get rid off the W9L's.
This is a very nice Pete however..
