Still one of my favorite builds you've done. I like the def tank located behind the fuel tanks. It would be nice if you could mount one between the frame rails for a cleaner look.
I just seen this truck sitting out front by the fence, bad to the bone! I think it looks better with the same size tanks and the def behind the fuel tank. Great job Steve!
Not really crazy about that color usually, but I’m coming around. I like the way this one is spec’ed out. Really like the lights in that configuration.👍
Love your videos, but man you ALWAYS need to add LED headlights to these builds. It’s incomplete not to have LED everything and Paccar is missing the boat on this.
With dual leveling valves, they will act like the axle will have independent control on each side, so it will ride much better, and more control over bumps, and dips in the road.. A single valve system, controls all of the air bags, at the same time.. the ride can get mushy, and sloppy.. like the Volvo air ride front end, and can bounce you all over the road, meaning less steering control..
@@chrisgriffin5179 so they keep the truck level from side to side, not front to back? And are they only for the front axle or do they also control the rear?
Awesome craftmanship!!! It looks damn good but why paint the rubber air rides in the front? Must have known it would crack if you do this kind of work. Great job!! Just curious why?! Black I think would have set it off!!
The only reason this engine outsells the Detroit is because it is offered in virtually every truck make these days, where as the Detroit can only be had in Freightliner Or a Western Star. If the DD15 engine was offered in a 389, I’d have bought one yesterday. Much better in terms of Fuel economy and Reliability.Although stock vs stock these Cummins pull better, a Good Tune would make a world of difference.
As a former driver I get coming in off of the road and catching up on lost family time . I also heard a man say that once you get diesel fuel in your veins it nearly impossible to get it out. Also , selling Kw's after driving a Pete like his is like driving a Rolls Royce and selling Camaros. Not a bad car,but it's kind of weird.Anyway I like and enjoyed his travels.I too like many other wish Tim the very best.
Sorry,I didn't mean anything ill.I was just making a tease that's all.No disrespect meant in any way.I got the opportunity to drive a new KW for a while and it was great truck, nothing I can say bad about it.
This big 80 inch cab in that Peter is begging for a transformation in to a truckers lounge or an XXL sleeper cab, the option that is fitted by Co,- is a waist of space, sorry to say it. Do not get me wrong -Its a great truck, she is a looker and a puller for sure, " gorgeous " unit. TH to Steve.
Still one of my favorite builds you've done. I like the def tank located behind the fuel tanks. It would be nice if you could mount one between the frame rails for a cleaner look.
I agree
We're so blessed to still have the classic long nose units in 2019, being eveythings going aero keep up the good work Steve ,beautiful trucks.
I just seen this truck sitting out front by the fence, bad to the bone! I think it looks better with the same size tanks and the def behind the fuel tank. Great job Steve!
thanks JB
I also like the symmetrical tanks. I also like what Hurricane did with the def tank on their 389 mounting it between the rails behind the sleeper.
Was it custom DEF tank ?????
Welcome back Steve. Your videos are appreciated.
thank you sir
Yeah it's good to see some new videos. Love the trucks !
@@SteveCarbone how much for this truvk
Between you and the Petes and Tim in KWs you two are going to dominate class 8 truck sales. Nice clip !!
thanks Smoke

Love your videos, but man you ALWAYS need to add LED headlights to these builds. It’s incomplete not to have LED everything and Paccar is missing the boat on this.

Kyle Duncan 💯
She's a Beauty! @Peterbilt Steve can you please explain what the advantage of dual leveling valves are and how they work, Thanks.

@@chrisgriffin5179 so they keep the truck level from side to side, not front to back? And are they only for the front axle or do they also control the rear?
Chris did a good job explaining, 2 valves on the front and one on the rear
Love the color. You guys do. Awesome job
Thanks so much!

Nice one Steve. Now someone need the matching trailer to this.

Nice.. And also big ups for taking Tim under your wing
not sure I had anything to do with it but I sure like Tim as much as you all do, great guy! Fun to watch him on his adventures

Beautiful Steve! 👍. Love the green!

I would like to hear from u to find out how much one of these trucks cost or order one and ask some questions
I want to know what’s it take credit score wise and down payment wise to get a truck exactly like this. Iam a o/o going on 2 1/2 years now.
650+ and 20% down is common sometimes get it done for less with only 2.5 years
Now that is a nice looking truck
Damn sexy Steve! I agree with most of the other guys- the symmetrical tanks are the bomb, with the cat pee jug mounted back a bit. 10/10
cmon
very nice hopefully one day I can get one just like it
@Peterbilt Steve How much did this beauty sell for ?
175ish
@@SteveCarbone Thanks Steve
I dont know, just not green enough still. But I do like the back of the bunk.

I’m curious. Is the dashboard on the pete soft touch or hard touch plastic?
Hello steve what is the price of this peterbilt in Canada and America
Wish I’d won the 1.6 billion lottery so I can afford these big money trucks
Lol. With 1.5 billion. Wouldn't be driving trucks
i would... just to cruise around in..haha
I would definitely buy a show truck a pull a toy hauler with it.
Hello Steve Your truck's are the best how much is one of these cost so I can start collecting the money?
In the 180's
how long can you finance a truck like this for? how much with an APU?
Have you sold this truck? I'd be interested in purchasing it or one just like it.
Did u say disc brakes? As in regular brakes. Do you need a class a to operate this?
Piss green, I love it. Takes me back in time.
Is there's an option to hide cab airbags by (frame/cover)?never saw in your videos
there is
Is that dual leveling a factory option
What is the weight on this one and how much extra that you put with top bunk?
This big 80 inch cab in that Peter is begging for a transformation in to a truckers lounge or an XXL sleeper cab, the option that is fitted by Co,- is a waist of space, sorry to say it. Do not get me wrong -Its a great truck, she is a looker and a puller for sure, " gorgeous " unit. TH to Steve.

Sick !!!

Yeah I like one for heavy hauling. 👍🏻

How much does it weight?
What’s the weight on something like this??

Do you ever do trucks with a Detroit in it?
Joshua Lanier not an option anymore unless it’s a glider and Steve doesn’t do glider kits.
Did it have a fridge and place for a microwave?
it does
Nice truck bro💪🤑
thanks RC
They painted the air bags to ?🤣
I don't see that truck going to a grocery warehouse.
Pulling an aldi's trailer 😱
Billy Ray I hear ya, your accumulated detention time wouldn't even pay for lunch. I just let JB and swift handle the food houses
I want this truck
What’s the damage on something like thi$$$?
in the 180s
Can yall stright pipe them from your shop
no, they can put straight stacks, but the exhaust filter has to remain intact... you would have to delete the filter yourself.
Yes PLEASE
