There's no benefit to rationing sex for men, we don't get something in return for withholding. Married women get plenty by rationing sex. By requiring more & more from her husband before having access to sex, she gets something tangible now. I knew men my age in my 30's who were down to birthday & Christmas sex. That's it, twice a year. That's not a marriage, that's extortion in exchange for resources. When the wife starts rationing sex, that's when it should end guys. You married for access to regular sex, not once in a Blue Moon did something extra special to get sex. When she rations, move out, move on & let her start searching for her next rationing target.

I only had one partner I dislked sex with. He tricked me into getting pregnant at 24 INTENTIONALLY. He was 40 and wanted a child he was twice divorced he lied to me about being infertile had gotten a " biker chick" pregnant and paid for her abortion the year before he met me...broke up his second marriage. He started physically abusing me after I delivered no sign of that before. I did have sex with him, he was a premature ejaculator...needless to say I did not enjoy it...not one orgasm in the 8 years I was with him. He dropped dead of a heart attack. I thought I was done with sex and men.
Then a year later I met the most wonderful man and everything was terrific with him for 41 years...the love of my life. I certainly didnt USE sex to get what I wanted. I gave him pleasure happily and so did he....it is incredible the difference it makes in life to have the right man. So in my experience, it isnt always the woman who is a terrible person...he passed away last year at 80. I was SO lucky and he thought he was too and said so often. We had a great sex life twice a week...who says old folks dont like sex... til the month before he diied when he started feeling ill.
For me, sex without love is much less desirable. As a mature man I value intimacy and affection and of course connection. My parents used to cuddle by lying on the living room floor while listening to classical music on the radio. that is how I began to learn about sex and intimacy. It takes great courage to be willing to be intimate with anyone at all for that matter.
Sex with love is the ideal, but it is not necessarily the best sex. By this I mean that love does not always come with great sexual compatibility and chemistry, and great sex does not make men fall in love, like it tends to do with women.

As a woman, I find that this is the largest obstacle in my last relationship, also previous ones to that… and most other girls I know where the man can’t get this right. I need to be and feel connected to the man to even think about it want to have s€x… while he thinks it’s a no biggie, we’ll get the connection through s€x. And therefore, it results in NO S€X. If the man would just put in the effort before hand (which he is too lazy to do). Fine, I’m ok to live this way. 🤷🏼♀️

The problem is that we are always connected since everything is relative in absolute sense. So women should study more physics, cosmology or even evolutionary biology.
I’ve been Asexual the majority of my life. The few times some man awoke desire in me, it usually lead to nothing. Meaning, those men didn’t find me attractive enough to get freaky with. So, the desire went right back to sleep once it realized things weren’t gonna happen. I had it with a guy who threatened to murder my parents if I didn’t. He had mob friends so to call his bluff was risky. Men don’t really care it you enjoy it. They just take when they can and that is it. That guy wasn’t the only one who forced me “or else”. I didn’t enjoy it. They were gross. Not the type of “adventure” I would have gone on voluntarily. And in recent years I was hit by serious financial issues caused by my close relative and my libido committed a total self-exit. No one can awake it now. It’s dead for good. Now I go through these phases where I meet people, develop feelings for them but experience to physical desire towards them. So, I let them go before they ever realize I was experiencing emotions around them, because no matter what those emotions were I could never sleep with them. So, that’s where I am with all of this.

Being married for 33 years and having five daughters gave me a pretty good understanding of women.
The key word is understanding.
Women go through changes every month and especially near menopausal age.
Thank God I was a patient man and did not have unreasonable expectations of my wife.
Her sexual peak was between 30-35 and it was great.
Also when we became empty nesters it was great.
It slowed down when she neared 50 but she developed cancer at 51 and had a major surgery which left her virtually injured in that department.

Now that she passed away 3 months ago I feel very lonely and would love to be with another woman again but she would have to be special.
Its more about relationship and genuine intimacy based on respect.

As a licensed psychotherapist for over 25 years, I agree with almost everything you said. I constantly have to talk to straight men about the importance of emotional connection and stimulation for women. Most have no clue. As for gay men and sex, you're absolutely correct there as well. @schahrzadmorgan That's a complicated answer, but I'm going to refer back to something that you already explained: Women just need to understand (and possibly accept) what sex means to men in general. Expecting men to shift their "relationship" with sex, could be setting women up for disappointment, especially if a guy's view of sex/sexuality is hardwired or culturally reinforced. This is where anyone has to decide whether they're compatible with a prospective partner's ideas about sex, or not.

For most guys who don't exercise regularly, their erection quality is going to crash as they get older because the penile arteries are very small and the blood flow just won't be good enough. I plan to offset this with regular exercise and possibly penis pumps.

I loved your explanation. I am an outlier though. There is actually truth about what they say about Scorpios. I have the same (if not more) of a very high libido like men do. Men turn me on. I need sex every day as many times as I am turned on. However, due to my fear of contracting STDs, I prefer having a lot of sex within a monogamous marriage. STDs cause my brain to put on the brakes. I just cannot do hookups. Not all Scorpios do hookups. In general, Scorpios prefer loyalty within an exclusive committed monogamous marriage. I think Scorpios always naturally have the highest libido within a marriage regardless of gender.

Not all men get turned on by lipstick, I hate the stuff and it definitely inhibits my reaction to any woman wearing it or obvious levels of make-up! Same with perfume, it can be attractive, but it's not in a natural way and a woman's natural body odour and scent can be overwhelmingly arousing - that is my experience. I still recall the females I occasionally have been near daily, who had this natural body scent like heavenly nectar that one wants more of. Perfume overpowers or hides that natural scent and it's a mistake to rely on it in my experience.

Most Makeup and most (not all) Perfumes degrade the adventurous exploration and learning that should be an integral component of intimate as well as casual relationships.

Why do "non concordance" researchers assume that vaginal lubrication means the same thing as increased blood flow to the penis? Wouldn't the direct analogy be increased blood flow to the clitoris (harder to measure)? It could be that vaginal lubrication does not just indicate arousal but could also be a protective response in anticipation of penetration--thus could sometimes be triggered by fear or disgust.

I went through my own sex-starved marriage for the better part of 27 years, it has been a smorgasbord now as single person. I felt a similar starved trauma but would be reluctant to blame my ex-wife fully. I am not sure it was not the bonds of marriage that are also unrealistic. I feel like now after my liberation, I could "imagine" my ex-wife and I reconnecting with intimacy. We have become friends at some level. However, I don't think I could ever be full-on monogamous again, not at 53. I do miss the family I had with her.
