Did this fix the code? I think you actually replaced the SR solenoid. Which is Shift solenoid 4 in parts catalogue and Solenoid E in the scan tool. I’m not expert on this but from the documentation I’ve seen, scan tool for shift solenoid D should be S4 or part catalogue as shift solenoid #3. Or the third one down from back and not third from front and with blue connector. Again I’m not expert so I might be wrong.
Yep. I took Kenny’s advice in this video and learned the hard way he is wrong. I ordered 35240-50060 like he recommended. WRONG. The one you actually want is 35240-50050 to replace the S4 solenoid. Good luck tundra family.
You are correct, S4 is misidentified here.. search for A760 AB60 Comparison Webinar by ATRA. The presenter has marked all solenoid. There is a link to download the presentation material also.
I have a 2007 Tundra. Solenoid C and D. error codes. Does anyone know which wires or connector pins these are? I've seen PDF files 700 pages long, and just can't find a simple picture that identifies each wire and pin. I'd also like to buy a female multimeter connector that goes onto one pin at a time to check resistance.
most people only fix the ones showing a code. I've watched a lot of videos, mechanics usually only replace the bad ones. I've even seen some people clean them, test them and put the old one back in. If you replaced all of them, you might spend almost 1/2 the cost of a rebuilt transmission, depending how expensive of solenoids you buy.
the solenoids are based on codes from the obd reader. It will tell you when you hook up a scanner. My scanner is a simple $10 OBD 2 that hooks by bluetooth to my phone, then you use an app. Some apps are free, and some are $5-10.
Mine to then I scan then says P2714 Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Performance/Stuck Off.. it drives fine when warmed up but every now and then doesn’t wanna engage into reverse right away
Great video Kenny thank you so much for making this video and taking the time to explain where the solenoid located.
You’re welcome I’m happy my video help
Thank you so much, your video is so much better than the other I looked at.
Спасибо братишка !💪👍

I think you might be right on this
Any chance you know the Toyota part number for this solenoid?
Don't take it to Kenny's 😂😂😂

Very informative
very nice vid..thanks
Is it better to change all the solenoids in the transmission?

How do I tell which is the 4th gear solenoid?
Get it fixed?
@@hinds90 search YT for Comparison Webinar by ATRA where A760 is transmission model.
Good answer

Brother, When I shift to reverse it doesn’t reverse. But if in neutral and drive it moves forward. Can this be a bad solenoid D?
Have the same problem now

I think D is three up no fourth up.
